The middle size bocadillo is big enough for one day. They offer abundant choices of bocadillos during the brunch time and you’d have no clue what these bocadillos with the name of Pepe/María/Jose/Miguel/blablabla are like. Reading the ingredients on the menu is so fun. It’s very popular in the community, so be early there. Another option is ordering on Uber, like I do in most cases. Surprisingly, the peanuts come with the bocadillo as well!

I came here twice during my stay in Valencia. Great food at a great value! One half is long! My favourite was the Spanish omelette aioli. I also tried their chicken paella which I thought was hard to find as a solo traveller (they usually require 2 people minimum per order or they don't do takeouts). Staff was super friendly and patient as I was trying to order with broken Spanish. Very homey vibes.

We had chicken paella 🥘 and it was good, quick service and nice atmosphere. It seems very popular, lots of people over lunch. Good price and nice people.

I recommend that place! It serves really tasty food, portions are incredibly enormous! You have to reserve min. 1,5 hour, because the queue is sooo long. Sandwiches costs about 6€ (medium size), 11-12€ (regular size).

We came here excited after what we saw on the internet but if you don't understand Spanish, don't go eating in this place. The staff has no patience. There is a menu in English, but you don't understand much of it, there are dishes on the menu that they didn't have when we went. One waitress ordered instead of us even if we didn’t understand each other, just to finish the job fast even if we were not plesed….In the end, another waitress helped us but we ended up ordering something without knowing what we ordered. The price was fair but at the same price we have eaten better and without headaches in other places.

Visited this nice restaurant, not too far from the beach. The place was pretty busy when we came in for lunch, but we were seated with a few minutes. We had our menus and drink orders in within 5 min of sitting down. According to the waiters this establishment is known for its horse meat burgers and sandwiches. The horse meat did not disappoint and was quite good. The sandwiches were very delicious and if you are to order the whole sandwich it come on a full size baguette! I ordered the half and I was still quite large. Dont get fooled the size of the food does not reflect on the prices which are very reasonable. For half sandwich and soda I paid about €7. If you are ever in the area, stop by and grab some food, you will not be disappointed.

Ordered food, no fork, the waiter was very busy, so there was no time to take care of the customer's meal, the bread was cold, and a cup of coffee was not served for an hour, the squid roll was ordered, the boss said that there is no more, ready to leave When I saw someone eating at the table. Maybe it's because the restaurant business is so good that it doesn't care about the service. First and last time to dine. I wish you a prosperous business. Terrible meal, won't be back.

One of the best places in town for a ready breakfast or lunch, as they are famous for their giant baguette rolls. The prices are as good as the food, which is why Pascuala has been a favourite with locals for many years.

Excellent value for money, it was quite busy and we needed to wait for a table about 20 minutes but it was worth it. The sandwiches were of good quality with very generous portions of fillings. To our surprice the jar of Sangria was included in a deal. I would definitely return one day.

During our Valentine’s Day getaway to Valencia, I was jonesing for some horse meat so we came here. The “half” I ordered was part of a brunch deal. Less than 10 euros. The Wife opted for a salad and fish meal that ran us 13.50 euros. So how was the horse meat? It was the best I have had in my life. Now, I have an urge to grab a dog meat sandwich, but neigh, neigh. That will have to wait for another day. The meat tasted like beef but a little chewier. The sandwich named Susan came with jamón Serrano and grilled onions. If the service would have been better, I would have ordered a second beer. The carajillo was a downer since it had no coffee beans or a citrus zest, both found in the best versions. The place has a Spanish eatery vibe and I like it. Just don’t expect an attentive wait staff.

Its true what they say: The sandwiches are huge and outrageously good. ( not to mention excellent value!!) I was turned away yesterday becasue all the tables were full.. and this isn't a small place.. Returning today I snagged a table on the sidewalk and tried a half of the " chivito"..Roast pork , bacon , a fried egg. lettuce tomato and mayo on a light fresh cripsy loaf that made this big boy managable..Washed down with a beer it was delicious.. They have some very good lunchdeals during the week and wine by the bottle offers the most forgiving prices I've seen in ages..Hugely popular for good reason

One of the best place for Bocatas in Valencia, is quite crowded at hora del almuerzo, so if possible, please arrange a reservation, but if you are not in a hurry, you can just go there and wait a bit. The serves are huge, the bread is very fresh and tasty, you will be good with a half portion, there's a lot of propositions for each taste. Easy to access, big parking lot and near to the beach.

Saw this place packed with locals on a Thursday while meandering around El Cabanyal-El Canyamelar and decided to give it a try. The counter server was friendly and I went with their most popular sandwich, "El Super" (horse steak, bacon, grilled onion, cheese and tomato). It definitely took a while to get my sandwich-- so be prepared to wait-- but it was fairly priced and very tasty. I took it to go and enjoyed it at the beach just a couple blocks from the cafe.

I would give it 10 stars if I could. Massive and tasty sandwich, beer and a coffee for 7 euros. They were very busy so it did take a little while but we were chilled and didn't mind.

Great sandwich to take away, possibly the most authentic Spanish place I’ve visited, and so close to the beach… great for breakfast and lunch, highly recommended!

This was an unplanned and excellant surprise. After leaving the beach, and lineups at beach restaurants, we stumbled on this place. Great food, very local appeal, and price was excellent, so much food and drinks for 34€. Server did her best with English and recommendations, did not try to over sell us.

Muy mal! Cerveza negra requested , camarera no entiende 😢…but indoors a bunch of dark drafts 😢Then…Espárragos con jamón York y patatas requested but received the spaghetti instead 🙄 …and as I finished she brought the asparagus sauce on jamón to the customer behind me…vamos y adios! We pointed to each requested item, showed our order as well as utilized Google translate she just was not paying attention as evidently close to closing.

🫤 The place is very nicely decorated, as if you were surrounded by tents and in a jungle. Very well done. The food was delicious too. What is a major disadvantage of this restaurant is that you have a time block of 1.5 hours. We were with another couple of friends and had to order everything immediate...
