Very unhygienic and expensive place. The food was tasty but some people in our group get food poisoning after eating there. You also have to pay if you want to use the toilet and the lady responsible for cleaning the toilet is also responsible for cutting vegetables as far as we noticed.

Authentic experience with fresh fish straight from the sea, very well cooked. A nice variety of fish types. Too bad they don't serve polenta, only grilled vegetables or bread as side dish. Magical location by the sea. Tips: - be aware that payment is only possible by cash. - order some salata de icre or rapane as appetizers, they're really good and it's nice to enjoy them while waiting for your food (since it may take a while to be ready)

It is a beautiful, secluded and quiet place. The staff leaves much to be desired. I went at 4 o'clock to make a reservation for 6 o'clock on the same day. In addition to forgetting the reservation, instead of solving this, all the waiters sat down, looked at us and laughed.

Right on the sand near the seaside. Service was slow. It all depends on fish you order, some are delicious and others mediocre. Don't expect a fine dining experience. It's a very casual restaurant. Location is amazing. Not expensive either.

The best fish in Vama Veche, it’s very fresh and tasty. I ate there a few times and every time I was very satisfied.

Many fresh and delicious fish options available. As a side dish, they only have some grilled vegetables available and I would love if they would diversify a bit the options here. For example, some grilled mushrooms would also be good. Sometimes the place can be quite crowded and you might have to wait until a table is free. It's also nice as there are some tables were you have a very nice sea view and there is an interesting "door" where people usually take some photos.

I’d say here you find the best fish in Vama Veche. The place is dirty, but in an authentic way. Foodies will get me. Good to know that is cash only. View is breathtaking

Expensive for what is offered. I know this place when it had only one table. Now the portions are small and the food is not that great (no condiments and oily). They don't give a receipt. That was fine 20 years ago when a meal was on the side, but now this is only tax evasion.

From the begging- first impression- looks tasty. Then we set, waiter (one of very few) took dirty dishes, ok. After 5 minutes my wife goes for menu. After another 25 minutes we asked waiter to order, but he looks like injured and goes for smoke. After another 15 minutes we ask another waiter to order, was progress: give me a minute. After another 10 minutes we gave up. Two tables next to us had the same problem. Max 70% tables occupied, all waitresses were spinning around seems aimless. Is there good fish- I wish to try, but service- ground zero.

A very nice place, with a great view, chill old music. The "Tătărească" and "Dobrogeana" pies are excelent. There is a small play ground for children, is perfect for families. Will be great if in the feature will also add some dishes that are children favorites like pizza, fries or pasta. Keep up the good work! We will visit you again next year :)

Very good food and so pleased with the young stuff trying their best to make us feel good while we were eating or drinking something in there. Very nice location and relaxing atmosphere. We went to eat in there 3 days from 4 days that we where staying in Vama Veche. Highly recommend it.

Probably one of the most authentic seafood “restaurants” in Vama Veche - maybe even a bit too authentic. Service is either very fast or very slow, depending on how crowded the place is. In high season, the place can get very dirty especially as tables are not cleaned often (maybe this is part of the experience). This is really a place that you come for only for the food, as it really is delicious - I recommend the grilled shark

In the past was a good place. Food is tasty, service is bad and everything extremely dirty, ignoring there is a POS they accept only cash payment

The place has very tasty food freshly grilled in front of your eyes some steps away from the tables. However they don’t really have garnish for the dish. Do get it that this is “cherhana” and it works like this usually. But they could add grilled potatoes in the menu. Also the stuff should pay more attached at the customers when they try to make a request

Words aren't enough to describe it. This is not just a restaurant, it's an experience. If you're lucky enough to get a table just next to the beach, it is the best view in Vama (I think you can make reservations ahead). The mix between old school cooking and the quality of food is just remarcable....if you don't mind some bugs falling on your head constantly:)) Service is very decent for Vama, but can definitely be improved. Food 10/10. Definitely try the Rapane, Creveti and Biban (the one with less bones). View - 10/10 Drinks for kids - 8/10 No polenta (mamaliga) - is a huuuuuuge Disappointment, as you are eating fish. I would definitely recommend the FULL experience. Fish with bread is not the best mix ever, but the quality of the fish compensates.

Delicios traditional pies ( salted & swee ) + traditional fish soup with polenta and hot peppers. Great service, music and view ;)

Nice food, nice service, nice live music, everything was good. The kitchen was open even at 21:00 and they accepted payment in Euro, the exchange rate was also fair :) Mind that they take only cash.

Fresh and tasty. The place is a little bit crowdy. But overall a nice experience.

The place only serves marine food. The fishes are fresh and great, but you can only choose bread or fried vegetables as side-dishes. Poatatoes and/or polenta would be a great addition to the menu given the marine specific. The staff is a bit overworked and they keep forgetting to bring the stuff that we order but all-in-all it was ok. The place also only accepts cash, which is sometimes a pain.

Fresh fish and the menue has pictures, so it is perfect for tourists. I recommend the shark.
