Danish Pastry House - Excellent danish pastry. The new pastry store is now opened in Vaughan Mills Mall. There are different type of pastries that you can enjoy inside the store. Staff are very friendly and they offer sampling too, so that you can taste it before you buy. You can also sit down inside and enjoy a afternoon tea/coffee there. There store is clean and have some Scandinavian / Viking decoration. Very interesting.

Wow, these guys really know how to make and bake the flaky pastries. They were soft and the flavours were really light but without disappointing on the strength of flavours. Lots of options to choose from and considering everything, it’s not too bad in terms of pricing for the amount you get per pastry. Customer service was really good and very laid back. Never made you feel like you were in a rush either. Loved the takeout box. Really innovative with the windows on the box. Great job overall!!

Danish Pastry Shop is where I sail in for Viking strength breads and pastry. The pastry here is often irresistible for us when passing by as we shop at Vaughan Mills. Where to begin? Aeblestang is a unique apple stick pastry composed of braided pastry, with cinnamon & almond paste, that’s glazed & sprinkled with more almonds flakes. The Chokoladestang is a chocolate stick that is equally sweet, flakey & delightful. Kanel Snegl (cinnamon snail) and Smorhorn (butter horn) croissant are among the popular choices prominently displayed. Fresh from the oven. Both were perfectly soft / airy on the inside & flakey on the outside. While Danish Pastry House is a local business, their pastries are authentic. And when a Danish paper flag is propped on select pastry, the discounted options are impossible to resist!

Welcoming, nice, friendly and respectful employees. They put smile on my face. They have good variety of pastries with delicious almond cream filling. I loved their walnut bread the most.

First time at The Danish Pastry House. This location is Vaughan Mills but I hear there is one at Yorkdale and Upper Canada Mall as well. There are SO MANY items to choose from and they all look delicious. After perusing and learning about the various options with the help of the super friendly and helpful staff member, we decided on: Kanelsnegl (like a cinnamon bun but flat, flakey and with a bit of custard in the middle and vanilla icing) Hoj Snegl (same as the kanelsnegl but tall, more custard in the middle and chocolate icing) Greta Garbo mini (shortbread cookie with jam centre and almond around the outside) Hindbaer Snitte (large heart 2-layer shortbread cookie with raspberry jam) Hindaer Snitter Mini (small version of the heart cookie) Everything we ordered is soo yummy and not overly sweet. The cinnamon pastry is so light and flakey, and not oily. Out of the two cookies, I prefer the heart one over the round ones because I could do without the almonds but both are really good. The heart cookies gave me that feeling of “OH WOW, THIS COOKIE IS AMAZING!” ♥️♥️♥️ Would definitely go back again to try their bread, croissants and other pastries!

First time, def not the last time. It is a home to a delicious treats, and then some. Great selection of many pastries, would recommend it to everyone. I'd score it 10/10 Faerings. Staff is very friendly, as well.

Visited the Vaughan Mills location. The pastries are not even worth the money for the price they charge!!! They were barely any filling inside. When they first opened up, probably over 3 or 4 yrs ago...they were really good. Now, the size of each Danish is smaller than your palm, BARELY any filling and costs over $3.50+ for one. Very disappointed and I wouldn't even buy from them anymore. Perhaps other locations may differ, but this location, it was disappointing.

My favourite place to be when ever I crave for quality pastries, love the Viking slice and hoj snegl. Great place to grab a quick coffee and conversation with your friends and family.

I didn't have the food. I was so turned off by their customer service. Further, I'm not sure if all their employees understand English. BTW, service isn't any better at the Yorkdale location.

The pastry, was extremely crunchy, flaky, and kept falling apart. Otherwise it was a savoury pastry. Tea was too hot otherwise perfect. Staff are helpful in deciding which baked dish is a top choice & there are deals on croissants and the danish Cinnabon.

Pastries are quite good. I especially loved the closing deal, half price on select pastries plus, no tax if you buy 6 or more. It makes it much more worth it. You can eat it then or take it home and put it in an oven for a little bit to warm it up. Great pastries.

The store is very short staffed so you'll need to be patient! The croissants are flaky and delicious! Note they don't offer coffee which is too bad as their Danish with coffee would be excellent...tea just doesn't do tye same magic, plus every Dane I know drinks gallons of coffee.😁

Surprisingly good danish pastry. Get the chocolate croissant (smørhorn) and skip the cinnamon pastry with custard filling and chocolate (høj snegl)

Tried a ham & cheese croissant at this location - it was good but pretty average. Tried their coffee as well which was good. Only thing was that they ran out of small cup sizes so we had to get medium. The service at this location is great though.

Beautiful store. It has a theme and it works very well. The food here is good. I had a few items and I noticed the baked goods here were slightly drier and tougher than I had expected, but they were tasty nonetheless. Very clean store. Staff are quick at cleaning tables for the next guests. I couldn't see a trash can in the store but luckily there is one immediately outside the store. Staff here were very friendly and professional. The store itself has 3 tables with a few seats. Would recommend if you don't mind slightly higher prices for baked goods.

Ordered croissants and cookies. Croissants were not made today and was a little chewy. Probably won't come back

Home from home if you love Danish🇩🇰 cakes and breads. Top tip - go for the Nordic cinnamon bun warmed up which is almost as good as they are in Copenhagen,Denmark. I guess in Denmark it is slightly more hyggeligt. Coffee is great too AND don't forget a loaf of their bread! Danish bread is sooooooo much better than other breads I have tried elsewhere. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Overall a great visit and as about authentic as it gets outside Denmark.

😠 I have never been to a restaurant that takes over 20 minutes to greet me at the door. The hostess saw us and never came to acknowledge us and I had to approach her to have us seated and be put down on wait list. The hostess was not nice, inattentive and did not have a warm welcome to the guest and...
