I had a disappointing dining experience at WEGZ Stadium Bar. The service was slow and inattentive, and the food was not as appetizing as I had hoped. The variety of dishes on the menu was also limited. Despite this, the restaurant has potential as it is a welcoming and nice spot. The atmosphere could use a refresh, however. The prices were not worth the mediocre quality of the meal. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and will not be returning any time soon.

Place is in bad state of disrepair. No kitchen or bar options anymore ( fallen from grace from its good days ). Just filled with a few degenerate gamblers for the off track wagering. This place is not going to last much longer.

If you're going to close a restaurant down, change the name to wegz's gambling. Very disappointed. Wanted to go watch Monday night football and was told that the restaurant has closed down

Don't bother coming here. This place is abandoned which is unfortunate because from the inside looks like it could be one the best sports bar in the area. However there is random people in there who are watching/betting on horse races but no customer service.

If you like slow service eat here! We ordered chicken wings, bbq quesadillas and the southwest burger. We got 5 wings for $15 3 pieces of bbq quesadilla for $15 Southwest Burger for $15 with sweet potato fries drenched in oil. Over all it took about 2hrs for us to place our order, eat and wait again for another item. Not the best service, food seems overpriced. Great sports venue for drinks, not for food. Quality of food was not appetizing and definitely not worth the price we paid.

This place is basically closed down. There is no food service at all. Only beer and soft drinks are available. It's a huge empty space other than a bunch of old timers congregated in one corner, betting on horseracing. This place is owned by Woodbine and it must be supplemented by all other revenue sources. Even the TV's are old and of poor quality. There is no reason to go here.

Where to start... OK so went for drinks, not food so this review is strictly based on drinks and atmosphere. Large space, tons of seating of all kinds, from booths to tables to bar stools. Breezy and a great open feel to it. Clean. Service was greay, but some lack of communication I felt, being asked by multiple people about what we wanted to order repeatedly. Good cause we definitely didn't get forgotten about, which is super frustrating, and also not good cause it's like... Is there not a system to it? Regardless, service was good. Table, floor, and the entire place was clean, neat, and organized. Menu left me wanting for more. Small isn't necessarily bad, but I wasn't wowed. Ordered 2 different drinks on the menu and they both called for one ingredient that they were, and had been out of for days. I don't see how that would ever be a thing in this type of establishment, having ran a small restaurant in the past, I know that it happens, but I don't see why someone wasn't sent to the corner store to pick some up temporarily in the meantime until the order was fulfilled. That left us both disappointed. Ordered a drink off the menu and another that wasn't, but was simple enough. Simple drink was fine, sorta. Not the most enjoyable, something about it was off. The drink off the menu was mostly sugar and had a very "cheap" taste to it. But then again, it's a sports bar so I'm not going to hold that against them. I just figured that with a small menu that the featured drinks would be stellar. Also, found the drinks to be on the small side, considering price point and basic-ness. Overall, 4 stars, closer to a 3.8. Like I said, not sure how the food would be or what it would be like at night as we went there in the afternoon.

WEGZ was probably the hottest sports-bar in Vaughan at some point!👌 Too bad they changed the nature of the business after the pandemic, good luck

Unfortunately this place is not what it used to be. I would think that with the pandemic out of the way people would flock here to watch sports and have a pint with wings but apparently that's not the case. Its just degens and poorly used space. A real shame too. My friends and I used to love coming here. It was the best sports spot in the city pre Real Sports days. Even then it was a way better bang for the buck. RIP to a good one.

I understand the move to offtack betting during Coivd, but the rest of the world is back, so let's go! Bring back the sports bar. This is a massive property, it doesn't make sense to keep it in it's current state.

No longer a Sports Bar. Perhaps you should take down all the advertising outside so that people don't get confused and replace it with pictures of gamblers instead. Sad that WEGZ decided to no longer be part of the community but instead contribute further to the ills of society.

This place is really good for watching sports with friends and maybe play some games (pool, foosball, ping pong) But in terms of food, the appetizer was really great but their main dishes are not good quality. I got burger and the patty was so well-done. They have to improve their services speed. Overall I wish they increase their food and service quality and their entertainment.

Watched the first match of Brazil vs. Switzerland last week here. There are lots of TV, small to big, everywhere. It will be nice if you book ahead a booth. Food is fine, but beer is a bit pricey, almost $9 a glass. The atmosphere was good as the whole crowd shouted and cheered up. It would be a healthy way to release your life pressure. I will bring my mortgage client to here for a drink later on. The stadium bar opens at 8 a.m. for breakfast during 2018 FIFA World Cup period. Don’t miss it!! Cheers!! Overall rating: 4.20.

They don’t even serve alcohol here anymore… I asked the guy if they lost their liqour license or something and he said it was cause of the pandemic…. Lots of places still serve beer despite Covid bud. Just filled with a bunch of riff raff betting on horses and drinking cola

It's huge but I think this place need some changes. For example their TVs. Food quality is pretty decent except the pizza. Overall, I would give it a 7/10.

Great place to have a beer and watch sports! The wings are really really good and if you are here they are a must try for real. The service is great and the management staff is really nice and gets it done.

They have a very good open area for watching games! Very organized and friendly! Their food is not good at all though! But recommended:)

This bar is pretty excellent. I think it should be in Texas because everything here is bigger. So many rooms for different sporting events and I went before for buffet during a playoff game and it was incredible. Highly recommend.

It was great last time I was there a few years ago, but not sure why their website hasn't been updated from May of last year? Like do you guys still close at 8pm on a Tuesday?? Still limited food and drink options? If a playoff game starts at 7pm, do the doors still close at 8pm??? Even the answering machine says it's still betting services only!? Someone needs to update some stuff, just sayin!
