Describing
this
as
hotel
is
stretching
credibility
to
its
limit
-
the
Wyndham
is
most
akin
to
a
managed
apartment.
I
should
really
remove
managed
from
this
description
too,
as
there
wasn't
any
management
during
my
stay
-
no
cleaning
of
rooms,
no
changing
of
towels,
no
making
of
beds,
no
re-supply
of
consumables,
such
as
toilet
roll,
and
the
type
of
activities
that
would
mark
accommodation
as
being
of
a
hotel
nature,
as
compared
to
an
Air
B'n'B,
to
which
I
>would<
compare
this
to.
The
apartment
was
perfectly
adequate
for
my
family
needs,
but
a
lack
of
Wi-Fi
was
a
disappointment.
I'm
not
sure
what
the
apartment
would
be
like
to
stay
in
during
hotter
months,
as
the
bedrooms
have
no
direct
ventilation,
just
sliding
doors
for
privacy.
There
is
an
a/c
in
the
kitchenette
and
over
time
I'm
certain
this
would
provide
sufficient
cooling,
but
only
if
the
bedroom
doors
are
left
open
to
allow
circulation,
so
bye
bye
privacy,
and
only
if
left
on
all
the
time,
which
certainly
isn't
great
for
wanting
to
limit
your
environmental
impact.
There's
insufficient
room
for
luggage
to
be
put
away
easily,
as
beds
take
up
95%
of
the
rooms,
so
ours
ended
up
in
the
hallway
and
lounge
for
the
duration
of
our
stay.
The
provision
of
a
washing
machine
was
one
of
the
attractions
of
the
property
and
very
handy
it
was
too
-
but
no
drying
rack,
despite
a
decent
sized
balcony
-which
needed
cleaning
before
anything
could
be
hung
out.
(Ok,
so
the
washing
machine
is
a
washer
dryer,
but
not
all
clothes
are
suited
to
this
type
of
treatment,
and
again,
so
much
for
limiting
ones
environmental
impact).
This
lack
of
amenity
stretched
to
a
drying
rack
for
washing
up.
There
was
one,
but
it
was
dirty
and
even
if
we
had
used
it,
the
kitchenette
worktop
was
not
designed
in
a
way
to
drain
water.
It
was
certainly
designed
to
look
nice
as
a
priority,
with
practicality
taking
a
back
seat.
The
lifts
are
a
background
noise
to
become
accustomed
to,
which
reminded
me
of
strong
winds
whipping
around
the
sides
of
a
building,
and
the
balcony
doors
did
a
good
job
of
keeping
out
noise,
but
it
would
have
been
nice
to
have
had
them
open
a
little
more.
Alas,
noise
from
road
traffic/people/pedestrian
crossings
tapping
like
a
demented
woodpecker
meant
that
this
wasn't
a
practicality.
Positive
aspects
include
a
gym,
albeit
with
older
equipment,
and
a
pool
with
great
views
and
a
good
central
location.
Overall
a
let
down
due
to
cleanliness,
especially
the
rug
in
the
lounge,
which
was
visibly
dirty,
the
balcony
which
could
have
afforded
good
views,
save
for
the
glass
which
had
become
opaque
with
dirt,
and
an
obvious
lack
of
cleaning
-.e.g.under
the
beds,
which
had
balls
of
dust
a-roaming.
