👍👍 It was one of the coolest local cafes that I saw in Vienna and I must say that everything was really great, the behavior of the staff was friendly and intimate, I made a mistake and only ordered an eggplant model without bread instead of an eggplant sandwich, and then I told the waiter and the chef... People often mention good, staff, pita, order, great, friendly, tasty, atmosphere, Vienna, service,

It was one of the coolest local cafes that I saw in Vienna and I must say that everything was really great, the behavior of the staff was friendly and intimate, I made a mistake and only ordered an eggplant model without bread instead of an eggplant sandwich, and then I told the waiter and the chef found out, not only treated me to the sandwich I wanted, but also put a plate of eggplant on our table for free. And it was the most delicious and traditional sandwich that I experienced with a special sauce.

There’s a nice vibe, ‘service’ is ok (there’s someone showing you the table and menu) but you have to order at the counter and bring your drinks to your table…. there’s an open kitchen where majority of staff are busy working….so I thought ‘good, their focus is on food’ …. However, my minute steak kabab came cold, over cooked and soggy and the aubergine dish was simply really bland 😅 not worth the hype and price tag for me 🙈

If there was any way to give 6 stars for everything, I'd do it in a heartbeat. With zero knowledge of Miznon being as international as it is, I had it down as a great Israeli joint to try out. What followed was easily the best culinary experience of my lifetime - the food was otherworldly and the place itself has a way of unlocking a good mood level you had no idea you possessed. Yes, the cauliflower is outstanding. Probably better. Light, toasty, seasoned just enough. Definitely check it out. But you probably already knew that, since it's what they advertise everywhere. The "bag'o'beef" (slow cooked beef) was astonishing, and I don't use that word lightly. Not much to say, it was quite perfect and it was the perfect base for combining all the other dishes we got. The Freekeh (green wheat with herbs & yoghurt) was as refreshing as it was fragrant, bringing everything together. The run over potato was an experience in itself, being the first time I've ever had paper thin mash. A little extra seasoning needed on its own, but exquisite with any of the other things. Bag of beetroots & horseradish was the perfect bridge between the cauliflower and the beef, not to mention bringing a splash of colour to the experience. The same can be said about the veggie pita. My lights were completely blown out when the Malabi dessert came. I'm familiar with variations of it, but this? This could possibly be the best dessert I've ever had. Perfect milky texture and a blend of strawberry and apricot reductions made this shine like a supernova. The atmosphere itself, with Serbian, Macedonian and Israeli music blasting as the staff were having fun cooking in the open kitchen and the tables were full because of the pouring rain outside? Unmatched. Thank you. I will visit every single time I'm in Vienna.

I was getting a little tired of the countless meat-rich meals in Vienna when I discovered this hidden gem just right around the corner from St. Stephen's Cathedral! Delicious, perfectly seasoned food, great vibes and friendly staff. Highly recommended for anyone looking to take a break from the local cuisine while not venturing far from the sights.

Don't enter here. The place is extremely and absurdly noisy, the music sounds bad because of the type of speaker. It makes no sense how noisy and terrible it is the environment inside. Avoid eating here if you want to have a nice time. It is also pricey for the portions and the flavors.

This is a "fast food Restaurant", meaning you order, pay and get your food. However, this doesn't mean is bad, on the contrary, the food is really tasty (a bit fatty though). Very important is to make a reservation in advance, otherwise it's difficult to get a place to sit down (and the "bar" area is also usually full). The staff is nice, you get your food relatively fast. I will definitely go back for more.

Summary: Maybe it was a bad day for me to go there, but based on my experience, you can get better food and service somewhere else, for less price. I had a few people saying fantastic things about this place, I was very looking forward to try it. Unfortunately it didn’t go well, so this will be hard for me to go back. Ordering food was a chaos, the space is mall and there’s no one really explaining the process when you arrive, this resulted in people just crowding the area where you place an order. They didn’t have pitta bread for the sides that already comes with pitta bread, but they charged the same as if they were serving the full plate. 👎🏽 After 15 min queuing to place an order, they only took 47 minutes to get the food the table. So it was more than 1 hour waiting.👎🏽👎🏽 Portions are tiny, for what you pay for. And a baked potato (or half) with some dill and yogurt costs 7 euros, No bueno either 🤌🏽.

My first Israeli food meooowww~~~ Inside was very busy and noisy so we sat on the outside. There was a waiting line so we had to wait miaoooo~~~ Staffs are friendly. Cauliflower is surprisingly delicious! I’d like to recommend you order the grilled vegetable menu! Unfortunately, two things are bit sad. The amount of food is small and, as a warning, it is slightly spicy. Drinks are nothing special mauuuu~~~ However If you are looking for a delicious soft warm pita in the central city, this is a must-visit purrrr~~~

Very lively and bustely atmosphere, quick service, loud music, street food concept setting, seating, tables, plates etc… tasty flavorful food with lots of dill but super expensive… the pita bread which would not be filling at all on its own costs 13.5 €… 😮 for street food style I thinks that’s a little too much… then again it is really close to the tourist center 🤷🏻‍♂️

Fantastic fun concept with great food. The vegetarian dishes are tasty and innovative. The pita breads are the best of this type I have ever eaten. If I have to say something on negative, the music was a bit too loud inside the premises. Really recommended. Would be more than happy to go back here.

Waited 45 minutes after ordering my food before I finally had to ask if my food was almost ready. Which was ironic because I had ordered the minute steak. Apparently, it had never gone through in the system so they hadn’t even started on it. When I did finally get it, there is almost no tahini and it seems to be missing some things that the other review photos show like the roasted pepper and onions. No one came to refill my water, and was told they would bring me a whole bottle (they knew I was upset about the wait) but they never did. It certainly wasn’t worth the wait and was an incredibly disappointing first dinner during my visit to Vienna.

Very tasty and authentic Israeli restaurant, where you really feel the vibe of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Most of the time it’s crowded but you will always find a place there. Very tasty steak slices and amazing vegetarian options with lots of taste. You have to order at the counter that it gets a little messy, but they bring the food to your table. Cozy environment with vegetables decoration. Must go for every Israeli food lover.

Food was fantastic, must order the beetroot and freekah sides. The pitas are very fresh and tasty with authentic flavours. The service unfortunately wasn’t the best.

A friend and I got an impromptu lunch at Miznon. We each got a wrap - ratatouille and white - and a veggie side of roasted eggplant on a tahini yoghurt sauce. We both loved our wraps which are stuffed with roasted vegetables. It's a simple list of ingredients masterfully combined into lovely dishes. :) We managed to get a table outside pretty easily (12 noon-ish on Good Friday). The ambience is nice and I found the use of the fresh ingredients from their menu as decor both appropriate and charming. One star down as Miznon messed up my order actually (I wanted the 'intimate' which is a beef stew pita pocket). Definitely a place I'll return too though!

First time ever having Israeli food. I was stunned with how good it tasted. Generally I'm quite a fussy eater but I couldn't believe how tasty my meal was. The staff are also extremely friendly and helpful.

So disappointed! It used to be really good, but now it’s just expensive: beer 0,33l = €6 😂 And the portions are getting smaller! Lamb schawarma = €17 see picture

The food Was delicious , no question about the food. But the service... The waitress messed up with our order twice ,- she forgot one dish , and brought the drink we didn't order , and that's not the end, she also tried to convince us, that its our fault . She rejected to give a water for a birthday's bouquet of flowers . Danke . And I really don't enjoy a wine served in a water glasses. Come on guys. I will not return and do not recommend.

The food is really good, but came in smaller portions than expected. Although the restaurant was full, food came very quickly and the service was very nice. You have to place your order directly at the bar, then when it's ready they bring it and find you by calling your name. The homemade lemonade had a really special taste which surprised me in a positive way. The restaurant was very small and didn't have much space available, we were sitting with a small family together on one table. Since it was more of a very good 'fast food' experience it was ok.

Amazing buzzing restaurant! Expect a Middle East bazar, noise, laughter, music and an occasional shot flying by. Choose to sit at the bar to see the full drama develop. Great food. Classic dishes. Lovely staff.

The food, the atmosphere, the staff. Everything in this place is great! Always have a good experience in Miznon and never disappoint. I would like to see the slow cooked beef back soon. 😋 ... highly recommended.

The food was not that special as it was expected and based on the price defined for it. I understand for those who might be the first time trying it but it could be done better. The portion I small and you need to take more What is good they offer small portions of bread for free which is appreciated The staff were friendly and cooperative The atmosphere was nice and I liked the decorations Was a bit noisy but still fine It has good vibes

Sorry guys, but the smell on the terrace was awful, so we had to switch tables which were sticky. Food wise, the pitas are very basic, but the bread itself was very good. The menu is very very ambiguous meaning that we thought that you build your pita (with meat and vegetables and/or side dish as we were told) and we ended up ordering 4 individual pitas instead of two (we thought it were 2 pitas filled with meat+vegetables, not every pita with its own ingredient), the smashed potato with sauce and dill was although very tasty. All in all staff is very friendly and well intended, but we would not come back again…

Amazing! We came here by accident, but it was a great experience. You might at first think it's all chaos, but the restaurant and the staff are one living organism, which gives this place unique atmosphere. The food was delicious of course. Definitely worth visiting; we will come back if we're back in Vienna.

Delicious Israeli food! As you enter you find a dark lively restaurant with an open kitchen on the left. The wooden tables and bars are decorated with sweet potatoes and tomatoes. A hidden gem for lunch while in the center. Definitely recommend 😋 All rankings out of 5 ⭐️: Quality 4; portions 4; originality 4; cool international music and youthful ambience 5; location 5; prices 5, presentation food 4

Goes without saying the food is amazing, but places like this are a reminder of how a good team of waiting staff can add an extra shine to a restaurant. So friendly, warm, and easygoing, it’s a great atmosphere. Loved it.

Love the food. Especially the minute steak outside Pitta bread, and I like to think their menu somewhat ‘healthy food’. The service are good and fast. Always full so make reservations if you can or visit outside peak hours.

Food was decent. Portions could‘ve been a bit larger compared to the price. Hard to decipher the dishes on the temporary Corona Menu - this you could definitely improve. Staff is friendly and fun, if you approach them with a good mood. Thanks for the nice dinner :-)

A small and fast paced kitchen boasting amazing fresh pitas and great service in the center of Vienna. We had the white pita, lima bean pita, and run over potato and everything was wonderful. The staff were particularly kind and we loved the tomatoes set at every table. Each plate is ~€10 and card is accepted. Outside seating was full so we sat inside and while the music was unnecessarily loud (too loud to hear each other well) the playlist was incredible lol so we had a great time! Takeout is also an option.

First time trying Israeli dishes ,We ordered lamb kebab and chicken in pita and eggplant line as side. We liked them all but grilled eggplant with tahini was really special ,it would be good if they serve it hot and also if pita portions could be more, they re pretty small. Nice decor and good service.
