The location is fantastic, and many of the employees are really friendly. But except for that I'm not really satisfied with this hotel... First of all, when I checked in, the towels in the room were still dirty. There were small blood stains and a few black things stuck to it, and I was very disgusted by that. Also, for some reason, the shower door was missing in the room I stayed in. They didn't give me a clear explanation when I reported it, so that will remain a mystery in my mind.. In the bathtub, I could see some hairs left by the previous customers. So overall, I felt like this hotel did a poor job on cleaning the rooms.

Austria Trend Hotel Europa Wien is ideally located in Innere Stadt, the central first district, Vienna's old town . Buffet breakfast is not included, one has to pay Euro 19. Our Viennese friend treated us for breakfast and it was fantastic. One can have egg cook the way one wants it. There are lots of selections - processed meat, cheese, fresh bread, pancake, bacon and my favourite smoked salmon and so much more. The room is very clean. However, the shower room has only half a door that water spills out on the floor which makes it a safety issue. There is no waiting area at the ground floor only one 3 seater sofa bench without backrest. I will still go back to this hotel if only for its excellent location, nice staff specially the staff/hosts at the buffet area. Room is clean. It is near attractions, shops, restaurants, grocery store, public transportation. It is just next to Karnterstrasse or Karntner Street, a popular shopping street. Excellent location that it is worth recommending and I would love to go back and stay again at this hotel.

Ok Americans, I was just explained that the entire building can EITHER be set to heat setting or AC setting. It’s currently March and unusually hot out. Like shorts-during-the-day-hot. Unfortunately, the building doesn’t switch over to AC until April, so I am sweating in my room. I know this is common for Europe (experienced traveler here) but maybe I missed this info on the website. Because it’s so perfectly centrally located, the streets are very loud and their only recommendation was to open the windows for fresh air but the street noise floats up. Also, the rooms are spacious but definitely outdated. Do wear sandals or slippers around the room because the carpet is nasty. Shower also has mold and is the typical older European style with half door. Bottom line - great location for food, shopping, tourism and ‘OK’ price. BUT not good if you’re looking for modern and modern amenities. Note - they let me check in several hours early which was SO fantastic!

Booked for one night. Very convenient location, downtown to the city, everything is walking distance nearby. Breakfast is fine, just book for it in advance, while you choose the room type. Classic rooms are very small, if you don't mind it for short stays. I would visit again.

We visited the last week of April and it was 60F. It was SO HOT in the building. The building does not have AC until summer time (apparently the city controls it). My family had a hard time staying comfortable because it was too hot to sleep and we asked for a table fan. The carpet was really dirty too but the main concern was just terrible air circulation. You could hardly crack open the windows so it was pointless! On a positive note- we enjoyed their breakfast. They had a lot of fresh foods and warm options.

It's a nice hotel, we stayed there for a few days in mid October, room was spacious and clean, location is very convenient, walking distance to major tourist sites. They serve very nice breakfast buffet with very good food quality, staff who served the breakfast were very friendly, especially Beena, she noticed that my 80+ years old mom could only take soft oatmeal, she warmed the oatmeal with milk for my mom every time when we had breakfast there, she really paid attention to guests' needs, not just my mom, we felt very warm by her kindness.

Room was really spacious, but getting tired, worn patches on the carpet, and TV should have been on the wall, very clean though, location was magnificent and staff were great, would stay again.

The location is unbeatable, right in the center, everything is a walking distance from the hotel. For other attractions, you can take the metro which is a 3 minutes walk from the hotel, under the stephanos cathedral. Our room was quite large and cosy The only thing that wasn't as good was the air conditioning which was a little weak but very noisy. The big plus of this hotel is the staff! Very friendly and helpful for any request you may have. They also brought a cake for our anniversary!!! Defenetly will recommend everyone to stay at this perfect hotel! Have a pleasant stay everyone.

Great location. Very walkable to the city center sites. Somewhat older rooms. Don't bother with anything less than the executive rooms as they have not been remodeled. Charged EUR 3 for a bowl of ice.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is situated at the best possible location. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was perfect. Pancakes and fresh omelets. Ramon at the breakfast area was a highlight. Such an amusing and kind person that are our day with his sense of humor. The ladies who clean the rooms were also very kind. Would entirely. recommend. There is also the best pastry shop right across.

The hotel is in a perfect location, few minutes walk to St Stephens Cathedral and lots of shops also walking distance from Vienna Opera House, Hofburg, Rathaus and Parliament. The room we stayed was big with a view of the square and cafes which was lovely. The problem was it was so hot in the room and awful with aircon on as too dry, we decided to leave the window a little open for fresh air at night which was fine until 6 in the morning when the bin man and the bin lorry comes to collect the rubbish from the square it was waking up with a construction diggers working so noise every single morning absolutely shocking noise. Also the bathroom was a bit of a nightmare the shower/ bath leaks all over the floor when you have a wash. Looks a little dated the rooms too.

Room very small with bed up against wall on one side No Air conditioner and window only opens about an inch for fresh air. Can’t have window open at night as the noise from the square outside is extremely loud from screaming young party goers. We are also in a locked connecting room with a door and you can hear everything from the people next door … and I mean everything including going to the bathroom. And when they want to party after 2am it’s ridiculous. Breakfast was average compared to all the other hotels we have stayed at over Europe. Only good thing about the hotel is the location. Definitely outdated and needs a refurbishment. We did mention this to front staff whilst we were there.

A fine hotel with friendly staff. Good value overall. The room was spacious, but the AC was old and quite noisy, and the bed's springs felt very worn out... time to update some of the hotel's mattresses. Breakfast was very good in a spacious restaurant, friendly staff, and suitable for people with allergies. Location is perfect, near St Stephan's, and close to bus and metro connections. It felt very safe as well. Would stay there again.

Don’t rely on the printed materials as they are lies. Laundry service is advertised as available Monday to Sunday. That is not true, they mean Monday to Saturday. We booked this hotel for this service, and were counting on it, but were let down. Had to spend precious time travelling across the city just to do laundry. Tremendously disappointing cannot recommend this hotel.

This is an exellent choice. We stayed here for 3 nights in the begining of August in high season. The room size is good, slightly more than to be expected in a big busy city. The location is perfect, about 3 minutes walk from St. Stephan's Cathedral. The service was exeptionally cordial and hospitable, including cleaning ladies, dining room personel etc. Didn't like the semi translucent door in the bathroom, it doesnt give confidence, feels like anybody can see you. Also there was a gap between that door and the wall, I wasn't too keen on my 5 year old daughter watching me shower because of it. Also the shower has one of those glass half-doors that when you shower, the water spray out to the floor quite cosiderably. Other than that, a great experience and choice.

Best part about this hotel was the location - literally next to the station. Arrived to be met by staff smoking in the entrance doorway & generally poor service unless Manager was also on Reception. Our room was made up as a triple as booked - but only towels, tea & coffee facilities for 2 people. Latter not tidied up or replenished for 2nd night. English TV channel available which was a plus, but no USB ports in the room.

Great hotel right in the city center, all public transportation was so close and a ton of stuff was walkable. Had a gorgeous view from our room, which was clean and quiet. The staff went above and beyond for our honeymoon. Bed was so comfortable.

The hotel was awesome. Loved the view from our room and how friendly the staff was (they helped us getting a taxi to the airport and gave us a local map). Extra points for the fluffy beds and the amazing location it has. It’s in the center and close to everything: a supermarket nearby, lots of cafés, a good shopping area and it’s close to the u-bahn station.

Great central location and service, but absolutely terrible wifi that was basically un-useable. We were working and had to tether to our phone data the entire time because the wifi was so bad.

The hotel has absolutely excelent location. Few steps from cathedral and city center, also metro station. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, quiet, with excelent internet connection. Free minibar, free cosmetics. The one and only thing I did not like was the bathtub - it was not cleaned properly - hairs in bath as well as grease in the corners. Air condition worked well, but noisy a bit.

Great location, overall kind staff. Bathroom door slides, doesn t fully close, so even the shower steam gets in the room. We had a double room but the bed wasn t a central bed, but close to the wall, a bit uncomfortable. Slippers for only 1 person, had to request additional from the front desk. Umbrellas available for guests were a nice touch. Room view was nice.

I think our stay with the hotel was good, the location is amazing, apart from the fact that the lady,Nicole, at front desk seemed pretty rude to us and i felt she lack customer service etiquettes . Having someone more welcoming and warm would be highly appreciated by people coming on a vacation. Our initial conversation about payment and room upgrade was also very bad, she wasn’t courteous or patient enough for us to pay the difference at checkout and insisted to pay right then even when we were in a hurry to catch train to hallstraat . Her behaviour looked out of the place.

It is a lovely hotel with special features. The friendliness and welcome we received here was second to none. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was memorable. Credit to the cleaners and maids who really don’t leave any stone unturned; their attention to detail is applaudable. Thanks for for making us feel comfortable.

worst hotel experience - rude front desk staff, beddings and pillows in poor condition, dirty rooms, hotel overlooks a construction site that has been happening for the past 1.5 years, noisy location. Won't recommend booking this hotel. Certainly doesn't meet the 4 star criteria.

Lovely hotel. Really central! Literally the next street over to the main shopping area! Less than 10 mins walk to the Hoffburg, about 5 mins from the U3 and U4 subway lines and the Opera. Clean rooms, get one with a bath to soak your tired feet after a day's sightseeing. Lots of resteraunts around. Didn't have breakfast cause we aren't breakfast people but it's ment to be good. Coffee in the room. The beds are single beds pushed together but they don't move and are comfy. Views to the street are fab! Oh and the windows are super soundproof.

Good location. Food was ok. It is August and currently 70 degrees outside but our room feels like 75 with the A/C set on high.

Kind of oldish hotel but is located in the heart of Vienna. Very central. Clean room, polite staff, good food but not variate.

Brilliant hotel. Good rooms, en-suite in every room. Great breakfast selection especially on weekends. The location is absolutely flawless, you are right next to all of the main shops in Vienna. Beautiful location. Staff here are absolutely fantastic and go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay and you are comfortable.

Absolute gem of a hotel. Ideally situated, rooms comfortable & staff brilliant. Hot & cold breakfast great choice.

Awesome location, very friendly staff and super clean. However, the mattresses are too soft (so as the pillows) and there's no air condition. We also had an issue with the current in the shower.
