Very tasty dessert with cozy environment, I would like to visit again when having the chance. The cheese balls were fluffy and creamy, not too sweet, perfectly to our taste. The plum stew served with the cheese balls provided acidity and fruitiness to the milky dessert. I normally do not prefer warm dessert, but this one was so outstanding.

Oberlaa, one group which you will find across Austria. Hand made cakes and freh menus are daily available. Most of them are in historic buildings. Nice places are in Hierzing or at Vienna 1 district.

Cozy cafe in a quiet street. This was near Schönbrunn Castle that I had on my itinerary for the day so decided to have breakfast here. Such amazing staff and what a nice area to sit outdoors and enjoy the sun! The food came quick and was delicious. The omelettes were quite big!

A classy backery and pastry shop and restaurant. Pleasant service and posh Viennese atmosphere. The coffee and pastries were very tasty.

Such a shame a lovely place is run in the most chaotic way. Sat by the station that coffees and breakfasts were being prepared. I wish I could video the chaos. I actually felt sorry for some of the waiters. So service is hardly service by any standards and in the meantime the filthy rich owner is on some beach drinking pinacoladas.

OMG 😱 love this place! With a big garden and a beautiful historic veranda. Crèmeschnitte & Caffè Affogato on point 🖤🍨☕️

Place has different name on Google maps than on the sign on the café. Staff very nice, ambience nice, old café, a little like the old communism coffee shops in Romania we had in the past, nice to see this design again. Cakes where without taste.. Had better cakes in Vienna but would come for the tea again and those communism café chairs. Thank you for the nice service.

Our first meal of Vienna and it was wonderful! The smoked salmon and whipped cream cheese was such a treat. The whipped cream cheese contained just enough horse radish for flavor without burning the nose! We treated ourselves to two coffees and enjoyed the coffee with whipped cream and with heavy cream. Both were terrific accompaniments to the rhubarb strudel! A perfect mix of sweet and sour! The service was fantastic and the welcome to Vienna amazing!

Very classy cafe frequented by locals (no English menu). We saw what looked like business breakfast. Reasonable prices for such an expensive looking place. The coffee was good and fruit plate with yogurt was a little too sweet for my taste.

If you wish to be taken back in time to 40s/50s then this is a perfect place for you! Beautiful interior, gorgeous chandeliers and that vintage newspaper shelf 🤌🏽 The desserts and coffee are first class alongside with the faultless service. I think the magic of this please are not only thoughtful design, staff’s uniforms or perfectly served dishes but above all the clientele. The main guests are fashionably dressed older people who seems like they come there out of nostalgia to old times. Truly a must to go place in Vienna 🖤

We had our first breakfast in Viena here and it was totally worth it. The staff was friendly, the environment was great and the cafe is pet friendly. The portions are kind of big so we shared an omelette and ordered some bread with veggies, ham and cheese. We went there before going to the schönbrunn palace because they open early.

A classic cafe, offering a great range of fine quality pastries. The interior is characterized by warm atmosphere and retro look. The waiters provide exceptional service and are sharply dressed. If you visit, you should absolutely try the Apfel strudel with vanilla sauce or the Sachertorte! Recommended!

As usual, absolutely beautiful and historical restaurant with delicious cakes and drinks. I am so lucky that all this is within our district.

Beautiful cafe. Doesn’t look much from the front - but go out the back! Large courtyard with lots of small tables - all set out so it still feels intimate. The service is Austrian (haha) efficient. The food is great and the drinks are fresh. A calm oasis in the city.

I like the hidden garden , cozy with shaded/sunny tables . Had cappuccino with oat milk didn’t like how it’s not a milk foam made. The Marillen Strudel was good just a lot of cinnamon inside in case you allergic ask about it before ordering. Orange juice was kinda old/ bad orange ( didn’t forget that is not orange season yet) Business Breakfast meal wasn’t bad. Staff on us (Mr.Christian) was really friendly and kind with a smile on his face the whole time. There is a “paid” parking streets all around .

A beautiful place. We ate on the terrace to enjoy the sunny day. The delicious American style coffee and the maroni cake turned my midday into a perfect moment.

Beautiful little cafe not far from the palace and nearby parks. Classic Austrian pastries, lovely interior!

The Café is located close to Schönbrunn. With a classic Viennese atmosphere it counts with very good service and food. To go for a brunch is a great choice, you can have the brunch menu or choose between their amazing sweets and breads. It’s nice to visit and drink a calm coffee.

This place SAVED me from hating Austrian food. They were able to turn it into something I genuinely enjoy. The interior design was so refreshing like a cake bakery mixed with a little bit of grandiose and polished atmosphere. The pasta and fish were exquisite and very tender. The schnitzel just blew me away with how tender it could be while still maintaining that beautiful crisp to the outside. The cubed potoes were wonderfully flavored and I loved the paired cranberry sauce. And I am now officially a huge fan of Kaiserschmarrn, the fluffy shredded pancake with raisins. They were melt in the mouth delicious. Also the ice cream was unfathomably good.

Always good to stop here for a coffee, cake, glass of wine and at times a Frittatensuppe.

Fairly typical Viennese coffee house. Nice interior and lovely garden, but a little pricey. 8€ for 3 scoops of ice cream is a bit steep.

The atmosphere is very nice and the pastry snacks inside service was fantastic and enthusiastic. However, the fall was the wait staff for table service. The older gentlemen waiter was not very helpful and rude. We were struggling with the menu with the limited english and when asking the waiter what things were he would point and say that it says it right there. We obviously couldn't read the menu and that is why we were asking. A bit of a disappointment. Would have liked to tried something for breakfast.

The most original Viennese cafe ghat you will get. They have a wide variety of cakes as well as coffee. The interior looks elegant and nice with very refined waiters with the best manners. Very good service and profesional people. I always like to go there every time i am visiting the city . Price wise is fine and it is very close to the palace so if you don’t mind walking some extra steps you can come here. It’s more of a local’s cafe, so not that touristy which to me makes it better.

Beautiful restaurant but very understaffed especially during busy hours so it gets so chaotic when trying to get a table. The Apple pie was disappointing but the soups were surprisingly hearty and nice.

Fabulous food! Tried the fish, veggies, and roasted potatoes. Everything excellent! My partner loved his pork souvlaki and risotto. I drastically reduced my sugar consumption so I didn't try any pastries but I have known Konditorei Oberlaa for years and I know they are excellent. Very attentive and polite staff in the best Viennese tradition. Highly recommended!

After wandering through the green houses at Schonbrunn Palace we stopped in for cappuccino and dessert. We got a seat right away. Service was adequate. Dessert and atmosphere were great. The Schoko Mousse Torte is a must if you like chocolate.

Nice place Excellent choices of cakes and coffee. Super delicious cakes. Service o.k. We will certainly be coming back.

Careful now, if you have a sweet tooth and an eye for quality this place is highly dangerous to both your wallet and your future waist line. Jokes aside, this is where you want to go for a piece of cake and coffee after a long walk through the gardens of Schönbrunn palace- just like the locals do. A must visit place. The lemon tarte is to die for.

Breakfast is ok, but the service is bad. Ordered 2 breakfast combos and had to remind the waiter for the bun that was missing, then for the croissant and another bun. In the end we got charged for a bun that was actually included. Instead of an apology the waiter got rude. There are a ton of way better cafes in Vienna!
