Shameful behavior. After buying ice cream while it was raining, I went to sit at the place’s balcony with my wife and baby boy to eat it. When I entered again to order coffee, I was asked to leave because we didn’t order enough. I even offered to pay, so I don’t have to go out to the rain, and they refused. The place wasn’t full at the time. Even though They weren’t rude, It’s always about people, and in that respect, they failed miserably - at least in my experience.

Good and fast service. The cakes and spaghetti ice cream were tasty. A bit too much whipped cream on some of the deserts (for my taste at least). Overall, friendly staff and good value for money.

One of the few places where there was outdoor seating in a beautiful day in March. We just had Tea and some cake, which was quite nice. The apfelstrudel was warm, but unfortunately not crispy (5.20 euro). Prices are moderate for Viennese standards.

The most disrespectful and horrible experience I ever had in any restaurant. My kids couldn’t wait to order ice cream at the counter while myself and my husband sat down to order more icecream and coffee for the 4 of us, so my kids wanted to order again at the table. The waitress literally kicked us out because my kids sat at the table with take away cups, even when I told her we will order for 4 at the table she continued to remove the menus and rudely kicked us out. Before I leave I tried to give the shop manager a feedback and that what happened isn’t right especially in the service industry, but he was more rude and even pulled my arm, while trying to breach me about respect. I really can’t believe how a shop like that is still open in a city like Vienna where hospitality and good customer service is everything. Really beyond shocked.

Very good gelato, not really on par with the hand-made ice cream you can get in Italy, but still one of the best in Vienna. What we particularly liked about this place was the fact that the owners allow you to sit down at a table even if you ordered an 'on the go' cup, provided there's still place and it's not a crowded day. They let you feel welcome and don't push you out. You should also definitely sit down at a table and grab a bite or try one of their ice cream specialties and a perfect espresso, as it's located on a rather quiet street, a couple of minutes from the Stadtpark. It quickly became one of our favorite places to go in Vienna.

Few seconds after we took a seat with our ice-creams one the waitress came to tell us that we could not sit down as the terrace was just for sit-in orders (we were not informed about this policy while ordering). Therefore we had to stand up and leave and eat of ice-creams on the go. Very disappointed.

I recently tried the pistachio ice cream at Ice Cream Shop, and I was absolutely in love. The ice cream was creamy and smooth, with a rich, nutty flavor that was perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the cream. I would definitely order again.
