Awesome food and location. Its an Austrian style breakfast buffet and definitely worth it. From soups to desserts, everything was so good. The variety of desserts were really awesome. The location is excellent as it provides a view to Vienna city.

No one greeted us when we arrived, we had to try get their attention to ask about seating ourselves. Waited quite a while to give order, staff didn't seem interested, no desire to interact. Didn't like the wine, asked server to check if it was really the one I ordered (i had my doubts) and asked for a different one (did not request a free drink). Manager came out with next glass of wine and was so condescending and rude, we were so surprised at his manner. First waitress was friendly and brought me the drinks and good appetizers straight away. Waited 45 min for the main dish, when I asked about it the waiter (another one) couldn't be less friendly. We requested an ironing board and a baby bed in advance for our room (which we had to book separately), but both were not available and we had to go up and down the building to find a staff member to ask for these items (no reception to call). We booked the Ellipse room for our wedding reception, which had a great view, but the service was very bad. We ordered an "all you can drink" package for the arrival drinks and dinner, but the staff limited the service (coffee was only available at 4pm, wine only for dinner and on request). When we asked for better service, we received very rude responses. Food was average, nothing to complain but also nothing to rave about. In the aftermath, we received a beverage billing, where we asked for transparency, because it shows an impossible consumption given the "all you can drink" package and the last two event hours. Drinnen ist es nicht klimatisiert trotz teuren Preisen. Service ist hier mehr als lahm. Es sieht so aus als ob die Mitarbeiter gezwungen werden. Für die Aussicht und das Essen gibt es trotzdem jeweils ein Stern. Nochmal komme ich aber nicht.

Mein Mann und ich waren an unserem Hochzeitstag hier. Beim Betreten fragte uns die nette Kellnerin ob wir reserviert hätten. Der daneben stehende Tisch war noch voll mit Geschirr und massiven Essensresten, obwohl der Innenbereich komplett leer war. Die Tischreservierung hat online wunderbar geklappt, der Tisch war sauber eingedeckt, der Ausblick ein Traum. Der Kellner welcher uns begrüßte war sehr freundlich, frisches Brot und ein Kräuterkäsegupf wurden rasch gebracht. Jedoch auf unsere Getränke mussten wir 30 Minuten warten, obwohl der Mitarbeiter an der Bar, zu welchem wir Einblick hatten, diese bereits umgehend vorbereitet hatte. Die Vorspeise, sowie die Hauptspeise hatten eine Wartezeit von bis zu.45 Minuten. Wobei wir uns für diesen Abend Zeit genommen hatten und dies für uns kein wesentliches Problem darstellte. Das Essen war gut, schön angerichtet, die Preise der Lage und dem Ambiente angemessen. Das Personal wirkte eher planlos, man hat das Gefühl dass hier keine gute Organisation dahintersteht. Der Kellner beim Zahlen war wirklich sehr nett, hat ein wenig mit uns geplaudert und war sehr freundlich! Nach ca 2 Std suchte ich die Toilette auf, welche sauber war. Jedoch stand auf dem bereits erwähnten Tisch beim Eingang immer noch das Geschirr mit den vielen Essensresten! Das Personal hatte an diesem Abend keinen einzigen Gast im Innenbereich, es waren 3 KellnerInnen im Service und 1 Keller an der Schank. Es ist schade, dass ein so wunderbar ausgestattetes Restaurant, mit so einem sehenswerten Ausblick, durch das scheinbar unmotivierte und/oder unorganisierte Personal einen schlechten Eindruck beim Gast hinterlässt.
