One of the best spots for a quiet and delicious brunch in Vienna. I chose Istanbul and I loved it. I highly recommend trying Go Vegan as well. While the interior is lovely, I suggest sitting outside during the summer for a delightful experience. Enjoy!

Quirky bar/ restaurant with a young, chilled vibe. Staff are super friendly and service was quick. We ordered the cauliflower steak and halloumi burger. Drinks wise we had grape juice and Afri- Cola. Food was great, both of us enjoyed our dishes. There are many vegan and veggie options on the menu which is a great plus! Grape juice was also super refreshing. Star down because the bathrooms were not fab, and out of soap. Overall good experience.

All in all it was a good experience. The place is somehow charming, like a little hidden gem. The food was good and the staff very friendly. We had to wait longer than we though to get the orders but to be fair the restaurant was pretty busy. I found it a bit pricey, just above the average.

Everything was delicious! We had a schitzel and a cauflower steak. The drinks were great too. Very quick service, attentive staff. I love how a vegetarian, a vegan, and a meat eater could all find an option in the menu. Definitely will be back.

It is an excellent choice for brunch, dinner or lunch. Since I discovered it, I am visiting this restaurant every time I am in Vienna. The yard is lovely, the food accomodates every taste and there are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. The service is excellent. You must visit this, no questions asked.

A lovely breakfast location for a Saturday morning. I had the "Light breakfast" and it was delicious. Well sized, perfectly cooked poached egg, tasty avocado spread and home-made bread. The porridge was a nice add next to the rest of bread, eggs, bacon etc. I liked that for the same breakfast option you get both savory and sweet foods. Supposedly there are two cats who sometimes come and say hi to the people. I didn't meet them yet but maybe you'll be luckier😊

Great cocktails, happy hour is such an amazing value, I didn't have the chance to try the food but it looked amazing.

The place is a hidden Jewel in Vienna. There are so many options for vegetarian/vegans and I thanks a lot this. We tried the tofu sticks, the vegan wrap and a regular hamburger for my husband. Everything was tasty, I wish we hadn’t order may be a starter because the main dishes are big. Another thing I love was that the place offers Radler beer. I think it’s perfect for a romantic date or just to hang out with a friend.

Been there for a quick meal. Ended up enjoying a generous pint of beer plus a well-proportioned burger with sweet potato fries on the side & some garlic sauce to accompany it all. As for the service part, irreprochable. Very cozy place imo, you can even light up your own candle. Questionably pricey, but where isn't the case in whole Vienna?!

Cosy restaurant that offers a lovely selection of vegan dishes. Sampled the Vegan Dumplings that were plump, meaty, flavorful, and served with a large portion sauerkraut; and the Vegan Schnitzel that reminded me of the meat version I last remember eating. It was served with tasty fried potatoes and a deliciously tart cranberry sauce. For dessert the vegan panna cota was perfect. Also enjoyed the large drink menu and how all vegan options are clearly indicated. Downside was service wasn't overly great. Would definitely visit again when in Vienna.

We had a great time at Augustin. The food was delicious, the portions big and the prices fairly reasonable. The ambience with all the vintage furniture was unique. Definitely recommended!

I loved absolutely everything about Das Augustin. From the cozy decor, to the friendly and welcoming staff, to the amazing food and drinks (at very affordable prices!). Lots of tasty vegan options to choose from as well. I especially loved how open the place was about being supportive of the LGBTQ+ community and other marginalized groups. Although my stay in Vienna is short, I would love to come back at least one more time!

found this place in the 15th and it was just great. there is even an outdoor backyard where i had the brunch. they were very friendly, food came quick and they have vegetarian milk. I had oats milk instead. totally recommended.

Cozy, atmosphere as if you're in your own living room. The service is attentive and very friendly. You should definitely try the tacos (spicy! Which is rare in vienna)

Decent enough. Just landed in the venue before kitchen closed and accomodated my food order 👌. Food was great, vegan schnitzel was great and the potato salad super. Also the apple pear sauce with the tofu sticks was sensational. Wine choice good but service a little lacklustre. Seated near the entrance/exit so felt a little out the way, only check back was when done.

Really good place, recommended! We had dinner here, everything was freshly made. The menu is short (always a good sign!) and thoughtful, anyone can find something to eat. They have special offers too, like summer offers. The garden has a nice cozy athmosphere. We will definitely come back soon

I really enjoyed my visit here! I had the vegan schnitzel and it was delicious, as were our drinks too. Only positive things to say about the service as well. Can warmly recommend this place :)

I recently visited Das Augustin for breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised. The location is great, situated at a corner and the interior has a nice mixed style. The food was really good, especially the vegan and vegetarian options. The selection at evening isn't too extensive, but the quality was excellent. It's also great that they serve breakfast until 2pm. Highly recommend!

Love the Augustin for its unique atmosphere. It's relaxed and comfy and it offers good background music. The food has also been a strong point, specially with vegetarian options (you can have sausages like Currywurst as a vegetarian variant as well as proper vegan dishes.

Cool and cosy cafe! One big room for non smokers, one smokers room in the back and a pretty garden open in summer. I really like the atmosphere! The staff is really nice. They have vegan options on the menu. No allergens information printed on the breakfast menu, need to ask.

Seitan schnitzel was very good, but they brought us a meat one by accident the first time. The blonde waitress was very nice and apologetic even though someone else had taken our order incorrectly. The replacement schnitzel came quickly, but using the same potato salad that had been on the meat (now in a bowl). Nice place but nothing special.

I used to love Das Augustin, because of the delicious breakfast and nice service. However, my experience today was disappointing. If you don’t bother to wait 45 min for breakfast and get a totally cold bad prepared eggs than you will probably like it here. It used to be a really good place…

Was there a few times now and looooved it! ❤️ Very nice location, especially the outside area is beautiful. The food is very good, i love the vegan dishes! And the stuff is always friendly and likes to joke around.

  • 5/5 Georg M. 2 years ago on Google
one of the best restaurants in Vienna, especially the breakfast during weekends is legendary. Very friendly and quick service, excellent food with lots of great veggy and vegan options.

Breakfast here is just delightful! It’s a good vibes restaurant dotted with cozy armchairs and is a nuanced modernist take of a traditional Viennese coffeehouse format. The options for both food and drink are varied at fair prices. You can enjoy indoor and outdoor seating. I recommend this place if you want a quaint and cozy atmosphere absent of loud music with great food and friendly staff.

Lovely place with kind staff. All the foods were delicious and good portion. There are options for vegans/vegetarians and for people with food intolerance (gluten, lactose, IBS, etc). I loved it, it definitely worth to try.
