We order tapwater and get 2 small bottles of water, 3.25 euros each. Also we waited 25 min for our orfer and the salad was not fresh.

We came in the morning and they only offered apple pie and coffee. Unfortunately and surprisingly, they don't have any non-diary milk, so we were left with espressos. The service was very nice and the place decor and vibe are really cool

Lovely comfortable rooms with a delicious breakfast. Long walk to get to the hotel. But helpers were sent by owner to assist with luggage. We felt well cared for.

Absolute rude waitress sent us away because we had a pram. The pram would have fitted in the corner but she didn't care much. She just walked away in disgust.

The pasta was delicious and also the fish & chips. The portion could be a bit bigger.

Delicious and fresh seafood. We tried grilled fish with pasta and gamba's and fish and chips. It was mouthwatering. We ordered twice. Latte macchiato and hot chocolate was also superb. Will definitely come back. 😁

Stayed here in one of theirs lovely small rooms. Small, a bit cheap looking, missed some bathroom accessories, double bed kept moving, but good enough for one stay, beautiful view though. Good breakfast, served to your table.

Friendly service (1 star) but the food was exceptionally bad. Ordered 4 fish and chips and 6 kibbeling meals. Fish was raw and tasteless. Luckily they took 2 back bit still not good. Best to buy fish elsewhere. Fries were good. Kibbeling also poor quality. Paid in total eur180 but not worth at all. Food at a stall would even serve better quality.

Ich war vor 4 Jahren, das erste mal hier und war durch weg begeistert. Nun muss ich feststellen, dass es echt abgebaut hat. Mein Fisch and Chips war von der Soße super, die Pommes frisch und lecker, aber der Fisch schmeckte überhaupt nicht. Er hatte ein Geschmack nach Spiegeleier, keine Ahnung wie das passiert, war sehr unangenehm. Preislich ist hier, aber immer noch alles fair. Ein versuch ist es wert, vorbei zu schauen und zu probieren. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und kann englisch und deutsch.

It’s a busy restaurant. When I visited the place for lunch, it was packed with people. The server immediately found me a table and in no time I received my order. It was so quick. Highly recommended. A nice place for seafood. Like all the dishes we ordered, especially the mussels. The service was great too. Had requested to expedite our order, and the waiter was really helpful.

I have food intolerances to dairy wheat eggs potatoes and soy. And requested meals without these items. With a group of 45, i was served green beans with something on them but told they were stramed. Carrots with butter or oil and told they were steamed. A sqlad with eggs and croutons... but told that this was appropriate for "my diet". Thanks for serving me food poisioning on a plattet and getting me to pay for it

Really good food with friendly and efficient service - this is one of the few places that offer something more than the usual menus found in other cafes or restaurants in Volendam. Their sea bass is a must-try!

We enjoyed it! Vegetable soup, steamed fish, Cassis, fries, salad, potatoes. A complete meal making the experience terrific and memorable. Service was terrific as well.

The food was great, although the serving sizes of the mains weren't that big. The pancake, however, was huge and absolutely delicious! Service was quick and efficient. Will come back for sure. The prices are some 5-20% higher than those published here previously.

Excellent meal, service and setting. The portions were generous and traditional Dutch as well as elegant cuisine were well blended. The dinners came with four side dishes and the price was surprisingly reasonable.

Our sea bass dinner was excellent. The service, atmosphere and food were all 5 star. Thank you for an outstanding meal.
