Rooms were never cleaned properly except for one night by Carmen. Staff left towels thrown on counter and still had filth in bathroom and bed was made just so the staff could lay down on the bed afterwards. Pillow and blankets said it all. Went for business and was told shuttle was free and we were charged on our final bill even after I asked several times if shuttle was free. I was told yes it was free and to not worry. Not to mention the shuttle driver was always late from our designated time for drop off. Driver never showed when scheduled for pickup, waited forever so had to walk 15 min in the cold back to the hotel. Always had to confirm each morning where our shuttle was because we were always late to our business meeting/trainings. Kitchen staff was amazing.

Really loved my stay here. I came for a conference and have food allergies that I thought were being accounted for by the conference organizers. The banquet staff stepped up when I realized the conference organizers had not done anything with my allergy info. I had amazing food quickly prepared at a moments notice. The rest of the staff was very nice and accommodating as well.

We are big fans of Hilton’s … however this place was scary. It was so outdated , had a very strange smell. Was dark and our lights kept flickering . We did our best to busy so that all we had to do was sleep here . The best part of this hotel was the back patio. I would have preferred to sleep out there !

You have to ask for your room to be replenished. Breakfast no longer complimentary. Shower difficult to operate. Tv desk not dusted, paint needed touching up. Bed comfortable. View was nice. Very convenient to other restaurants. Scrambled eggs on hotel buffet seemed artificial.

When we first got to the hotel we had issues getting our room . First they said they didn't have a room under my name but later found out that they gave our room away to someone else who supposedly had my exact name. Then they said they fixed it and gave us our room keys but when we went up to the room it was not the right one! After going back downstairs we finally got our room but when we pulled the covers back on the bed was a weird looking bug and nasty stains on the sheets that looked pretty fresh so we called front desk and they sent someone up to change sheets. Friendly staff but not a great expierience at this hotel.

At a convention there. Good location in town with easy access to dining and entertainment. Rooms are a bit dated but very adequate for my needs. Good staff. Catered dinner was excellent. 6 facility was very nice. Overall, I'll stay there again.

I went for a conference so can't comment on rooms since I drove in. Beautiful hotel. Our morning snack was well presented with all types of beverages. The meetings were well setup. The large meeting room had an a/v person in the room the entire time. Very nice! Lunch was well done and quite good. Great place.

Awesome hotel! We loved the sofa bed and how it was separated by a door into its own living room/office/kitchenette area that also had a second tv. The free breakfast was very good and my family appreciated the waffles and how you can make them regular size and mini size. They also had popcorn in the lobby in the evening which the kids enjoyed. We also used the indoor pool and gym and both were good. Great hotel and staff!

Only giving 2 stars for service because prior to the trip I had originally reserved 2 rooms. The guests for the 2nd room I reserved became sick. My reservation AND the hotel website said free cancellation before a certain time/date. Calling to cancel BEFORE the certain time/date was a hassle. Supposedly there wasn't a manager on site that could cancel my 2nd room without me being charged - "per policy". I received the run around and finally was put in touch with someone and HAD to email them a picture of their very own website of cancellation "rules". Ridiculous

Hilton Waco was very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful! They not only sent up a pack & play but set it up and put a sheet on. We also had a water spill and needed new bedding shortly after arriving. They promptly came and changed all the bedding for us! The pool was great! Located near the Cameron Park Zoo, Magnolia Market, and numerous restaurants! Highly recommend.

Attended a meeting on the 1st floor, entrance easy access. Good visibility w/in auditorium, comfortable seating, no problem hearing, very clean, restrooms nearby. No interaction with hotel proper. Available parking both handicapped and regular spaces close to entrance.

Hotel is nice but is dated. Biggest frustration is the advertised sms/text for service feature. This simply did not work. Unreliable. Also really dislike the “covid protocol” as an excuse to not provide daily housekeeping. Otherwise the location is the best with everything in walking distance. Parking is a breeze and multiple entrances make access easy. Three elevator bank makes going up and down fast and easy. Overall a good hotel for sure.

The hotel was so nice and clean. Always smelled very nice, and we really enjoyed our stay. No complaints at all. We had a great view and this hotels location is perfect for walking to local places to eat and shop.

My only complaint that the room felt a little stuffy, but aside from that the staff was amazing, the food was great, the bar was fun, I didn't enjoy the pool but I saw it and it looked really nice! I was there for an event and had a blast.

Great location for walking around, rooms were ok nothing special. Hotel bar was an added bonus. Breakfast at the hotel was not worth it, although the staff was great!

Booked a room with 2 Queen beds during Thanksgiving week. Staff (front desk) was pleasant and accommodating. My daughter and I didn't spend much time in our room but found everything just right. The view was lovely. I would definitely return.

Staff was friendly and room was nice and clean. Stayed on the 11th floor and the views overlooking the river was great. The room definitely needs major updates though, cause the design and furniture seems really old. The shower pressure was mid.. Overall would stay again

Had a pleasant stay in Waco for work at the Hilton. Plenty of parking, good check-in, friendly staff, and large room. Room was clean but a bit outdated. Could stand an update or two. Small changes would make a big difference! But the room stayed cold and the bed was cozy! There was a hole in the wall at the water connection to the toilet that needs to be covered. It’s the little things that make a difference to me. Would stay here again on my next trip.

Had an enjoyable stay It didn’t feel like a business trip. Monica and her staff were very accommodating. Candace at the bar/Starbucks was very friendly and helpful. Not to mention the hotel is located within walking distance of many eateries.

The way they run the the bar for breakfast is a bit chaotic. I didn't have to deal with it, as I had a voucher, but saw the chaos. Otherwise it's still a great hotel. The location is awesome. You can walk almost anywhere downtown, and work the free shuttle service in Waco you can't go wrong. Could use some updates to the elevators and maybe some decor.... but overall, yeah. I liked it.

Got the top floor executive floor. Pretty cheap for only 225 a night! Room service was awesome, the views were amazing! The beds super comfortable and clean! Wouldnt choose anywhere else to stay. Also the breakfast was delicious with many options to choose .

Great experience! We decided to eat dinner at the Brazos grill in the lobby- the food was wonderful, but the service was AMAZING! - Jesse Martinez and Adan Cardenas were the absolute best - seriously the best experience I’ve had at a hotel. Hilton- Those guys are true assets to your company!

Excellent service, always clean and the food is delicious. They have all the extra touches that make a guest feel welcome. I choose this hotel every time I travel to Waco on business. It’s perfect and has everything I need or want. The only complaint is that the business office is by the bar. Very loud.

Nothing particularly wrong or broken, except I couldn’t use digital key from my phone for some reason. Not used to carrying a key card lately, but minor inconvenience. There’s a Starbucks in the lobby, because there’s one everywhere. I was a little surprised the lady taking my order had not heard of a cappuccino before and had to look it up. Room was comfortable if a little worn and dated. I realize you can’t redecorate every year.

Gorgeous location on the Brazos River. Nice clean rooms. Staff was extremely nice. Hotel is older and could use some updates in the rooms, but everything worked and air conditioning was a blessing.

Location is good, overall Hotel looks clean but it is a bit outdated and Im a crew member so I'm staying here for work. As well as being a Diamond member who worked at a Hilton property before, I appreciate the front desk adding my honors number to the airline reservation but they should also let me know what perks I get while I'm there instead of me having to search and ask. Also, it's Friday night and I have to be up at 3:45am. People slamming these doors and neighbors being loud is unacceptable. Crew NEEDS to be in higher quieter rooms. Period. I understand it's a weekend and the property might be busy but, you knew we were coming...

I went for a women in construction conference and the front desk staff, cleaning staff, and breakfast staff were all top notch. The food that we were served at the conference was very good and we were located middle of downtown within walking distance to the Magnolia 12 mins, and across the street from a lot of restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and we were also next to the Waco Convention Center. I'm pleased with the cleaning staff at this hotel and Hilton never disappoints. It was a bit hard to find a parking spot, but that was probably due to the conference attendees.

I’ve been staying at this hotel for over 30 yrs for family reunions, football games, college visits to see my kids, and business … the staff here is amazing! I’ve been working with Melissa for many years and she is always super helpful and accommodating -even when I accidently mess things up :) I Highly recommend the iconic Waco Hilton to everyone visiting Waco !

This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in awhile. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The facility itself is older, but it doesn’t feel old with how clean they keep it. I love the attention to detail on seemingly minor things like a sanitary remote control for your television. It was sold out for Baylor homecoming when we went, but the hotel did not feel overcrowded. The wait for the elevator was never excessive. The breakfast bar wasn’t too crowded and was well cared for. The food was great with made to order omelettes and waffles and a tasty fruit bar. They had a complimentary bloody mary bar the morning of the Baylor game which was fun. I cannot say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I overheard one guest complain that decaf coffee was not available and they made a special pot quickly just for her. Also, they do daily housekeeping which should be a given but isn’t these days due to other hotels using covid to cut corners. Constructive criticism: I would’ve preferred a local coffee brand at the hotel instead of starbucks. Something like Common Grounds or Dichotomy or anything Waco-related would have been fun. However, I get that people like what they’re familiar with so understand why it’s corporate coffee.

Nice clean hotel. Breakfast is expensive, even over the allotment for Diamond members. They make you wait and pay at the coffee shop which can take time when it's busy in the morning. Not idea for business travelers looking to get a quick bite in the morning.

Staff was friendly. Room was basic. Pillows were horrible. Honestly, it felt like I stayed at just another hotel. Nothing to make me say "wow". I was there for a conference so we had room blocks at a lower cost. I wouldn't pay the normal rates though.

A recent family celebration had us staying in downtown Waco, and Hilton was a delightful and exceptional experience. The property is beautifully appointed, spotless and inviting, and situated with huge views of historic downtown, Waco’s suspension bridge and Baylor’s McLane Stadium. The staff throughout offered excellent customer service- from the front desk to the housekeepers, and the fresh, made to order breakfast was delish!

Lovely time visiting in Waco! Hilton Waco was reasonably priced and located well for us. It's walking distance from several downtown sites and located right along the Brazos walking trails - started our mornings along the Brazos being met with friendly good morning greetings from the locals on their walks. We then would have delicious breakfast goodies served with smiles from the hotel buffet & staff. Like how they individually wrapped up the pastries so they wouldn't dry out - very clean & organized. Met several hotel staff, all very friendly and welcoming, and a common remark was how much they loved working at this hotel. This sentiment was reflected in the joyful way people went about the work of serving guests and the quality of work performed. Especially kind was Adi Smith, who checked on our stay, taking extra time to visit with us to make sure we were comfortable and welcomed - so nice to meet her. Our room was so clean and well prepared (8th floor). No hotel is perfect - my husband's pecan crusted salmon was dry and the rice tasted slightly off... but one bad meal wasn't enough to keep us from thoroughly enjoying our stay, as the friendly staff & great service well made up for it! Room AC worked great - rm 820 might need a new mattress...dip in the right side. We spoke with housekeeping, front desk, breakfast and dinner staff, and Yasser from the bar - they all made us feel right at home. We will definitely consider Hilton Waco our go - to hotel in Waco! We'll done, y'all! See ya' next time.

Mixed bag. Newer carpet in halls and service at check in was very helpful, but did write the wrong room number down on our keys, so we went to the room designated only to be met by a half dressed man, who had checked in just 30 minutes before our arrival. The room was clean overall, but had some issues. Older furnishings and for folks used to a memory foam mattress and neck pillows the “way to firm” king mattress was lacking real comfort. The pillows were huge, but didn’t support the head and neck well alone and were too thick if stacked. The bowed shower curtain to increase space was loose and hung down, dragging the curtain to the floor. Door jams and been updated and holes from old hardware were filled rather than new doors installed. We found a silver “ring” in the toilet mid afternoon of our full day, and realized it was a ceiling fixture for the sprinkler head in the bathroom. HVAC was moist coming on and off during the night. Also, some train noise overnight and some “youngsters” racing down Franklin Ave, could disturb a light sleeper. Catering department and food was a highlight. Extremely accommodating catering staff, who served two special meals with Bison Meat brought in by an outside supplier. Quiet, attentive, efficient, accommodating and considerate catering team. Nice job from conference services team!

The room has a good amount of space, but the bathroom is tiny, and the door takes up most of that space. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for visiting anything in the downtown area or for an event at Baylor. On our last night here there was a great lightning storm that came through and was fun to watch from our window, for the last 2+ hours. We did not go to the bar or restaurant so I can't add those in the review.
