Went to the Sunday market down the road and decided to try this American BBQ out, 1. Brisket (personally I think it’s but salty) 2. Pulled pork is not bad. Caesar salad is not bad. Portion wise is small. Overall the taste is really good.

We shared the sharing plate for 2 and washed it down with sweet ice tea (free refils) on my latest visit. This let's you taste all of the meats available and paired with their house baked corn bread, pickles and Mac 'n Cheese!

First time here and everything we ordered and the service we had were beyond our expectations. I personally love rib and sausage the most. Pecan pie with ice cream is also a must-have, which is the best pecan pie I've ever had so far. Would definitely come back next time！

We are so damn impressed with our meal at Morepork! Best wings we've ever had - they were succulent and the sauce was so tasty. Pictured is the Hunter share platter with Mac & Cheese and the Jalapeno Cornbread. When the platter came out we thought that there should be more meat but we got super full quickly and brought home most of it in takeout containers (which was the plan all along). Everything was so tasty and on point, my partner is American and she was VERY impressed with the authentic BBQ. Highest compliments to the chef and the lovely wait staff, you're doing an amazing job 👍

Delicious meal, great ambiance, excellent service (lovely touch bringing out a water bowl for our dog). Highlights for me were the brisket (juicy and delicious) and the devilled eggs. My husband loved the pork ribs. Garden salad was perfect. Max n cheese was so so, but I’ve never met one that was more than a bit player on a bbq tray. Will definitely be back.

No coffee & tea but supermarket bought cakes. I went there last night . Guess it is over-rated.very expensive for the food they cook. Not worth the price. The Mac and cheese was from the box. My 4 year old son couldn't even eat it. The garlic bread had powder cheese on top- more cheese than garlic . . We booked by phone call. Where seated outside. It was so cold. As much as it is Spring time, temperatures drop at night. We all know that Auckland weather is very erratic. My friends were freezing and inside they only had 3 tables occupied. When l asked one of the waiters she said ,"ohh yes. Did you book online because you choose where you want to sit.l can do you a favor and ask my manager of you can be moved inside. ' l told her we booked over the phone. Later we were moved inside. The other five tables were bit occupied. W eleft the place at 2145, the last few people to leave. Then they had heat pumps which were not used, waiters did not know what they were doing, seemed like young school girls but the other lady was very helpful. They forgot pur corn bread but were very kind to make it later- thanks for that. The food is blah. The photos just liej another advertised on media can ve very deceiving. Well, now l can say l have been there, done that. Not worth the price. I had an OK experience. Will.not encourage my friends to gi here. You can do it at your own home. The dessert cakes are Vaught from the store- just a few selection then there is no coffee or tea.

Fantastic food, great service, fun, clean tidy restaurant. Staff were very friendly and service was super fast! Great stop for a stomach-filling bbq feast, though very keen to come back for some of the other things on the menu that looked amazing. 100% recommend!

Celebrated my brother's birthday here again and was a great experience as always. The staff are over the top helpful and always friendly and accommodating. This year the bro got a birthday slice and ice cream on the house! Little things in service really do go a long way. Perfect space to host a function or close family gathering with 3 outside areas and and inside dining. Food is Delicious and we got to try Corn Bread for the first time! (Maple butter was a winner!) They also do jugs of iced tea that is the best with an authentic taste! Definitely worth a visit! Thanks Antje for waiting our table and to Alex! :)

First time here for me, my partner has been here 3 times. He had to bring me here all the way from Hamilton because it's "that good", and he wasn't wrong. I loved the Mac n cheese spring rolls! The platter was delicious. Chicken, brisket, pulled pork, pickles, chunky fries and devine cornbread. Organic ginger ale to wash it all down. Definitely HIGHLY recommend MOREPORK BBQ KUMEU!! Shout out to the lovely staff! Keep up the good work and we will be back for sure.

Wow! The food was absolutely 💯 devine. Jessie made us feel right at home from the moment we entered. Antje was very pleasant and hands down one of the best waitresses. The Hunter Platter was a winner and we will be back very soon.

So good, our table of 5 ate this within 15 minutes. No chatting except for, "Can you pass me the bbq sauce?" or, "Can i have another tissue?" It was great, food arrived fast.

I can’t recommend this place enough for any BBQ lovers!! And their pies are to die for as well, definitely finish your meal with a pecan pie, I need to go back there very soon 🤩 sorry no photos of the pies as we couldn’t wait soon as it came out 🤣

First time visit and I love the place. Service was excellent and the food was amazing! Well worth the drive to get there. By far the best BBQ I've had so far.

We ordered the hunter sharing platter for 3 adults. Enough for 3 peoples. Beef brisket is tender and juicy. Pork is crispy and delicious. Sausage is definitely spot on dish to try. Highly recommended! A+++++

First time at "MorePork BBQ" it was really nice, but the brisket was a bit too dry not enough fat on it, the ribs were really good, the chicken was just chicken, the pulled pork was really tender, mac n cheese needed a bit of salt, and the cornbread and maple butter was just divine. The staff were really nice, and the food came out really fast.

Oh its such an awesome place the food there is so mouth watering if they were close to where I lived I would go there every week. The staff members are so nice 10 out of 10 service and 10 out of 10 for the food and that was the platter thanks chef's and front of House can't wait to see you again soon

Had ribs and brisket with a side of coleslaw and garlic bread. The food had great flavour and were delicious. The service we received from the staff was great. Would definitely come back again ✌️.

Celebrated my husband’s 30th birthday at morepork today. Absolutely loved loved loved the food. My family really enjoyed it and has already planned to come back for more haha staff are really nice too. Would definitely recommend for anyone that is looking for good quality BBQ!
