The staff are still warm, friendly and professional, however when I dined here the other night the Souvlaki was lacking in flavour, you couldn't taste the oregano, the chicken was a bit dry. The presentation was bizarre the scewers were ridiculous in proportion to the amount of meat,..there was more than enough meat, but were ridiculous oversizing makes the portion look small, which isn't the case. The Tzatziki was delicious, with a hint of delicious. But if you don't like this dip then the dish would of been so very bland without it. I was a guest and didn't book so felt uncomfortable to say something at the time, and I know my friends chicken tasted the same. I really hope that they read this and think about what's changed as it used to be amazing, now its just OK.

What a beautiful place to enjoy a very homely and genuine Greek meal. The actual building is wonderful with typical, basic, and stylish Greek decor. On arrival youโ€™re greeted by the wonderful owners, one of whom is the chef, and their son who the entire restaurant is owed by! The food is great and all cooked to order, and the wine menu is fantastic including Greek wine. The service was simply fantastic, with a genuine interest in ensuring your visit was first class. They have no parking, BUT there were places nearby to park. I highly recommend a visit.

We visited Nikoz for dinner for the first time 25/10. The staff were really pleasant and the food matched the wholesome atmosphere a d feeling of the restaurant. I had crab and crayfish ravioli from the specials board and it was delicious. Highly recommend a visit here!

Absolutely superb. Very helpful staff who don't intrude. Food very, very good. As good as any we have had in Greece. Book in advance as it is not too big. No private car park and no on street parking as near traffic lights but you can park at rear of the bus station across the road.

I went to nikos with my family to celebrate my birthday. The food was amazing, each dish seemed to be crafted with passion and you can tell that just by the plating not to mention the taste. I felt like a vip with how they treated us and care for us even allowing us to make our own dishes. The hostess was a warm and wonderful person and the chef was a jolly man. This place is a MUST visit and well worth a detour.

First time hereโ€ฆ.canโ€™t believe Iโ€™ve not been after living nearby for nearly 4 years! Amazing โ€œold schoolโ€ restaurant. All the food was amazing and so was the wine! I will definitely become a regular customer now.

First visit. Lovely place. Only thing I disliked was, when they found out we were celebrating a birthday they came out singing and put a silly hat on the person whose birthday it was. No problem with this itself but the recipient is a reserved quiet person who dislikes this type of public attention. It would have been better to ask first to avoid possible embarrassment.

A lovely dining experience. Very warm and friendly staff. Food is excellent. Could maybe do with more fish dishes on the menu. Other than that, it's like being on holiday!

Fantastic small Greek and Mediterranean restaurant. Food was exceptional. The speed of the service was amazing (although we were in a little earlier) in fact we could have done with a little but more time between starters and main course. Definitely want to go back.

Was reaaonably busy on a rainy Tuesday evening. We chose to not have the excellent value set menu and went for the main menu. Halloumi starter & garlic mushrooms spot on! Large portion of Kleftiko, which was tasty, but a little underseasoned for my taste. OH loved the Stifado. Service great - friendly, attentive, but not overbearing.

One of the most atmospheric, lovely places I've ever had the pleasure of eating at, the service was delightful and food absolutely stellar!! Had the pork souvlaki while friends had spaghetti and stifado - would absolutely come here again.

Amazing authentic Greek cousine. If you want to believe passion is represented through food this is the place. For a birthday meal I celebrated happily without hurting the pennies. It is well worth the money and is so fresh! I didnโ€™t take photos of the spinokopitas (spinach & feta) pastry due to how hungry I was! For the main I had Chicken Souvlaki which had tatziki, rice and salad. For dessert of course the traditional Baklava dome the Greek way with honey, caramel and ice cream to finish. Also authentic Mythos (Greek Beer) which you can obtain from the UK too! The whole night and atmosphere was fantastic and you wonโ€™t be disappointed with dishes to satisfy all!

We visited the restaurant as first time customers for my husbands 60th birthday. A fantastic menu selection. The food was fresh and amazing! Service fantastic, they made us feel very welcome. They also gave my hubby a little birthday surprise at the end of our meal!! Loved the authentic Greek music and atmosphere. Will definitely be returning! Thank you!

Had a lovely meal today, had the meze and it was a beautiful food, even our kids loved their food clearing their plates. Traditional Greek music playing in the background and a mural of Greece to take you back there. Lovely couple running the place very friendly and lovely atmosphere, first time trying Nikoz definitely wonโ€™t be the last time

We ate here on a Saturday night and despite it being busy the service was excellent. The menu was varied and the food was very tasty. Great efforts had been made to make the surroundings feel like a Greek Taverna but the tiled floor reflected all the sound which seemed to bounce round the room making it very noisy indeed. It didn't help that the background music was loud too. The table next to us talked with very raised voices which impinged on our conversation making it feel like we were eating in a cafe rather than a restaurant. We didn't linger after the meal was finished.

Excellent starter and main. Stale fudge cake was a shame though. Lots of atmosphere. However at times a little much as random loud songs came on and the chef would come out dancing. Overall would come back and was good enough.

A very pleasant atmosphere with lovely service and good food. The pizza garlic bread was a gigantic hit with our party. The other dishes were nice and served while still very hot. A nice place to visit for a relaxing meal during the week.

Visited for a birthday party, very welcoming staff and the food was lovely. If only we were sat overlooking a quiet bay on Skopelos watching the sun go down rather than a chilly February evening it would have been perfect. Would highly recommend and will be back

Food was excellent, house red went down well and service was great. Decor could do with modernization, reminds me of restaurants in the 80s but what do I know. Recommended.

We decided to give this restaurant a try as we had heard good reviews and it didn't disappoint. The place is accessible but doesn't have its own parking which was it's only issue but there are lots of place to park around it. The view is nice from outside but so cute, cosy and welcoming inside and your greeted with a smile and friendly welcome then shown too your table pretty much immediately. The restaurant is a huge restaurant but fairly decent sized with lovely decor and lighting. The menu has plenty too choose from and not over priced either. We chose the meze as I wanted to try a bit of everything and am so glad I did ๐Ÿ˜Š the selection of food was amazing so much to try but not too overwhelming. We had dips, olives and flatbread then our starter dishes to follow. The mains were the star of the show with different dishes too try, each dish had so much flavour and cooked to perfection. And top finish the amazing savory dishes we had baklava and ice cream to end our meal which was divine. The food was clearly cooked from scratch and fresh you, you could taste the sheer quality of the food. That was the best meal I had had in a long time and I will definitely be recommending this restaurant too friends and family and I can't wait to go back ๐Ÿ˜‹

A real fresh looking place after its refurbishment during lock down. A warm welcome by the hosts and a real nice atmosphere with Greek music playing though not too intrusive. The starters were awesome garnering a comment of this is the best calamari I have ever had. Food hot on arrival and the classic Mousaka was divine. Highly recommended for a visit from me.

Lacked atmosphere and food was not upto the standard we had had previously. Greek restaurant you expect greek atmosphere. Staff were great, attentive. Would think twice before going back.

We've eaten in and ordered for pickup - the food is always so exceptional. So many flavours it's difficult not to over-indulge. Just finished 2 meals and thinking about ordering a 3rd. Fantastic place, beautiful people and exceptional food.

๐Ÿ˜  Poor uncared-for motorway services. Very poor road directional signage on site. I drove past the narrow turning into the car park, inadvertently ended up at the petrol station. When finally going into the main building... I open the first of two doors into the toilets, and I was instantly hit with...
