My honest review. I went and bought 2 conures from this store, the staff need more training on the animals that they keep there. The lady questioned me about the cage I have etc and do I know anything about parrots in which I have a lot of knowledge about parrots but yet The store have 2 parrots kept in such a small cage 24 hours a day and what she told me as I asked her why they was in such small cages she told me they are only in for a few weeks and won’t cause them any damage in which she then came back over to me to tell me she got it wrong and they had been in that cage for 6 weeks maybe more! The 2 parrots had bonded together and was cuddling together a lot as they seemed scared. But yet was told they would be sold separately which I also think is disgusting. They should really be sold as a pair. I got the sense today that they do not care about the animals they keep and it’s absolutely shameful and disgusting they have massive parrot cages for sale at £220 in there store but yet they still cannot as a big pet store provide big cages for there animals to stay in whilst living in there pet shop especially parrots who need a lot of space as they need to Exercise there wings.. 6 weeks in a small cage like that is enough damage. She also told me they wasn’t hand reared and I wouldn’t be able to tame them or touch them which is wrong it’s still classed as a baby and You can tame a none reared parrot but will take a lot of time and effort and patience. They do not care about these animals. And what I have seen today is just not right at all and absolutely appalling and should not be acceptable Other than that food and toys etc are good quality and would recommend you do buy food and toys for your pets!

Brought these beautiful babies home today.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Every single time we come in there’s literally more than 4 fish dead and always a tank under quarantine. We found at least 5 dead fish in 1 tank!! I’m sorry but I’m not paying £100 for a discus if it’s sharing a tank with dead friends!! Not a good look is it. Would not recommend getting a fish from here! Clearly don’t look after their animals or have any common sense to look after them let alone have any knowledge or qualifications! The first time we actually bought a fish from them it died the next day so was going to give them a second chance. Absolutely not. Can’t even begin to think about the poor rodents, birds and reptiles! You should not be allowed to sell animals!

Incredibly clean and tidy store with a lange range of items for all kinds of pets as well as animals themselves from the regular to the more exotic. Staff friendly and service efficient with lots of parking available right outside.

Nice little store, rabbits, hamsters, fish, spiders on display in store. Good selection of products and a dog grooming area at the back with a big window so you can watch the good boys get groomed

Staff unhelpful and their pet food 'loyalty' scheme is useless, you have to purchase food monthly for it to work. Large bags last our dog 6 weeks so we never qualify for the 'discount'. The old scheme was more fair (buy 5 bags get the 5th for free).

Nice spacious shop. Wide range of products. Found the coat for the dog I was looking for. This was not available in other local shops.

Plenty of choice and a great range of things for all types of pets. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Visited today and the store was a little busy and there was a till pricing error. Neil the store manager was serving and went above and beyond to help remedy the situation. Always have a pleasant experience with the staff at jolleys, good set of staff with a good range of products. Keep it up folks 🙌🏻✌🏻

Although they appeared to be closing they didn't mind letting us in to have a look. Moved some shelves around since last time but allows for more stock, including live food for reptiles. Once I work out how long it takes to get some fish I will be getting some.

Great selection of everything. Lots to choose from for dogs . My son also loved the pet area. I could hear his excitement from the end of the shop whilst with his mum .Prices were also very reasonable. The staff were very polite and helpful handling questions and offering additional information and advice.

Great experience customer service assistant came out to the car to help me with my bags just a little low on kitten food but managed to find everything I needed for my gran cat and kitten would definitely recommend

Great selection of things for pets but in my opinion some things are way over priced. If you dont mind paying over the odds then this shop is great but if your savvy and shop elsewhere or online you will save a bob or two!

My little terrier loves salmon burger biscuits and refuses to go to bed without one and Jollyes are the only place we can get them now SAVED THE DAY😇

Injured bird in one of their cages, spoke to a member of staff, who didn't seem to care at all, simply said, "we know, it's on our radar". The cages are far too small for these birds too. They look unhappy and sad. Reporting.

I had bought the wrong dog food and foolishly didn't take the receipt at the time. I took it back (intact obviously) a week later, and they exchanged it, no quibble. I find the prices fair, when you join the pet club. The staff are always lovely and helpful 😊

Doesn’t know the gender of their mice. Male and female mice SHOULD NOT live together. At least the Sheffield branch assures customers that they make sure they get females, not just a “not sure”.

Dead fish left floating around in tanks and quite literally jammed into the filters. Told the staff and they said they'd get someone on it but didn't. The birds are kept in really bad conditions. Basically zero option for hamsters, rabbits etc, most of the store is dedicated to dogs and cats.

Just left the store very dissapointed after 30mins of waiting with my hands full of hamster bedding toys etc. I wanted to purchase a hamster and i have asked a member of staff for help and she said that someone will help me, i patiently waited for about 10 mins and asked the lady from till again if someone could help me as the queue went down i have asked again she and then she said she can t help with hamsters(such shame all staff should be trained in all areas as you are working with LIVING BEINGS !!!!!)then i saw one of your ladies taking pictures of rabbits and i have waited next to her without paying any attention to me after another 10 mins i just asked if she could help me with the hamster and she said with attitude/irritated that she is busy… i have left disgusted and disappointed. You just lost a customer as you DO NOT CARE for you customers. I went at PETS AT HOME where the staff was happy smiling and friendly and I HAVE PURCHASED everything for 🐹 needs and the hamster. THANK YOU FOR NOTHING AND RUDE ATTITUDE. If you do not like to earn money and have business keep it going like this. P.S. the cleaning of the shop was terrible and the pets are living in horrible and dirty conditions and small cages you should get a FINE for mistreatment of PETS wich are going feral in those conditions.

I reserved two rats, came back 3 times to be told come back Saturday. Went in to collect and the girl at the counter couldn't stop laughing as she told me "oh we've been talking about this on group chat haha they've been sold. Someone else reserved them as well" (The guy who reserved them for me checked if any were reserved and none had been.) I was then asked if I'd like to reserve some more rats! What so they can do this again Absolutely! what a joke. Absolutely rubbish service would not recommend.

Went in to see if they had some tropical fish I wanted they did and are much cheaper than other places

Good pet shop. They do some good offers. It's not the cheapest of shops but I do love to go in and treat my pooches

You need to look into who You hire as there is one nasty T..., who shoudnt be even working as customer service. His attitude is just disgusting!!! And is not one time thing, as every time whenever he sit on a till is the same !! Make sure You actually hire people who know how to behave!! He is sitting there like for punishment. He was working today afternoon so You can check whoever it is if You bother as this need sorting.

Got two rabbits and all setup from in-store with help from one of your workers Chris Crosby he was absolutely amazing and helped us in every way he could due to us coming late even offered to stay behind if we ran late to pick up the bunny's. He was very informative and we will definitely be returning for our pet need. Amazing staff. Wish more stores had members of staff like Chris.
