Walsall Scare Maze

Tourist attraction Haunted house

👍👍 Absolutely a thrill. It is a well established and well organized scare mansion. Great actors, a good story, and brilliant props and scenes. It can be scary for some. About 25-30 minutes. I can only recommend it for horror / scare lovers. People often mention maze, actors, scare, good, experience, attraction, front, time, scary,

A group of us who work in the scare industry took a trip from Liverpool to Walsall last Saturday. A new attraction, and to be honest we weren't expecting much, to say we were surprised would be an understatement. For the Price it was really good, the actors were good, and the sensory deprivation was great. Will definitely go again next year, can only get bigger and better.

I went there with my friend and we were really excited. We waited almost one hour in the queue but were hoping that it would be worth it. Because we were only two people, we had to join another group of four strangers. Unfortunately, they were taller and in front of us the whole time inside of the scare maze. I felt like we missed the whole thing. We were hearing their screams but didn’t really see anything. We were just walking behind and following them, not really being scared by the actors. However, the actors were good and didn’t break character. The bad organizing was not their fault. My friend and I are really disappointed in the scare maze and it really ruined our whole day. Paying such a high price for 25 minutes and not really seeing anything was not what we expected. At least the strangers in front of us had fun.

This place can rival any high budget theme park horror attraction! The maze itself is beautiful, the actors are second to none, ensuring interaction with everyone in your group and equal scares. The staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and will go out of their way to ensure you have a good time! Everything from the door, to the drinks is very reasonably priced so you won't be worried about it breaking the bank. Truly one of the best (if not the best) Scare Mazes in the U.K., and it'd be a terrible mistake to miss it during Halloween season!

Wasn't sure what I was expecting having never been to a scare maze but this place exceeded my expectations. Even though we all knew it wasn't real and were nervously laughing, the jump scares were actually scary. The strobe lights in the cage maze messed me up, so scared I fell backwards onto the floor! Also, the clown made a little trump peep out unexpectedly 😂

Really enjoyable experience. Although I'm not easy to scare they performers did catch me off guard a few times with some good jump scares. The maze itself is deceptively big because of all the twists and turns. Whomever built it has put in a lot of effort. Although the performers are allowed to touch people going through the maze their physical interactions where all appropriate and acceptable, including for the female friend that joined me on the experience. We did have to join another group, 6 of us in total, but this wasn't a problem for us. I'm very much looking forward to the Christmas scare maze if they run it again this year.

Thats all our scare mazes of Halloween 2023 complete, and no better way to finish it off than with the awesome Walsall Scare Maze This place never fails - the length, the storyline, the intensity etc always blows us away and this years no different! Well done to all the team & actors involved! Still 1 more scare maze to come in 2023 though and that will be the christmas offering - again in Walsall in December :)

Attended Walsall Scare Maze for the first time on Saturday with friends. Every one of us absolutely loved this place. We have been to so many scare attractions together over the years and we all agreed that this was one of the best. The main maze was so well themed, brilliantly acted and had some fantastic jump scares. It also has some great moments of feeling lost as the actors move the walls so you go round in circles, feeling like you will never escape! Have to point out that the staff were just so lovely as well. One of our party has slight mobility issues and they were so attentive and helpful. The queue to get in to the maze is fairly slow moving but for me that is a good thing. The reason it’s slow moving is to ensure that no two groups catch up with each other. Nothing kills a scare maze more so it creates a much better experience. The rest of the attraction has a nice bar for steadying the nerves, a burger food outlet, a shop for merchandise and a ‘shock chair attraction’ where you can see if you can complete all three rounds. Finally onto Enola. I was the only member of our party brave enough to experience it. I would urge anyone reading the previous review about it to completely ignore it. I was utterly blown away by this attraction. The effort and care that has gone into this attraction is staggering and the team who created it deserve massive praise, as do the quite brilliant actors inside. I used the safeword twice and it was completely 100% respected by the actors. Yes it’s extreme, yes it’s offensive, yes it pushes you outside your comfort zone, and it’s definitely not for everyone, but it’s all explained to you before you enter. It’s not like you don’t know what you are getting yourself in for. To trash something world class like this, just because it’s not to your tastes, is a disgrace tbh. I could not of been any more nervous before entering and ended up loving it. So if you are thinking of backing out…..DON’T. Pluck up the courage, you won’t regret it. Thanks to all the team at Walsall scare maze for an incredible night out. We’ll 100% be back at Halloween next year.

Me an my daughter went on Halloween It was terrifying. I’ve never screamed so much. I came out and my heart was pounding. The actors were amazing and the house layout was unreal. It was filled with special effects and lighting all the way round. I wasn’t expecting it be this good. Definitely would recommend.

Probably the scariest experience I have ever had. The actors... wow, definitely did what it says in the name. Scare maze. Each room we went into was worse than the last. Brilliant performances, put the absolute fear of God into me, not what I was expecting at all but very very happy with the night and would definitely go again. Well set up, alot of work has clearly been put into this, staff have worked amazing together to create an amazing night for everyone who goes. Licensed bar and food there, plenty to see and plenty to do. No complaints what so ever. Amazing!

10/10 experience 👏 Actors were crazy good at their job very interactive The lighting and effects combined with the acting made it feel like your in a movie. Saw a review talking about it’s pointless if your at the back because you hear people in front screaming …I disagree I was at the back and still felt the jump-scares because you just can’t see where it’s coming from .it could be through the walls . Behind you . In the corner or even right in front of you . You’ll never see it coming it’s amazing. Staff was very friendly and funny. Good job at keeping everything together & explaining rules Only problem was the wait just under a hour but in my opinion ,was worth it. Overall a very fun and scary experience , Money and time we’ll spent

Kinda disappointed tbh went for a thrill and just felt like there wasn't enough actors to jump out at everyone and as I was at the front my group was just kinda left. Also I know there is a wait time after the time on your ticket but waiting an hour and half isn't worth it unless you're easily scared. I think more actors and it would've been better

Enola part of the maze is disgusting and degrading. It is not scary at all It is only humiliating and degrading. Staff do not respect the safe word either! Friend said the safe word and the actor still continued! He did not stop and break character, just pushed her into the next room! The experience is in no way scary and just designed to degrade you. The premise and story has no consistency. The actors will throw toilet water at you, force you to get on your knees and shove your head in a toilet, push your hand in a flesh light and dry hump you, spank you, pull on your bra, try to cut off your hair, spit on you, shoot pellets at you and drop paint on your head. All while shouting at you and trying to humiliate you. If you are into this go for it. But if you want to have a genuinely scary experience do not go to it. It is vile and seriously wrong.

I went tonight and it was amazing. Looking at the small front it's crazy how well it's all done .It can rival any bigger similar experience. We didn't que but if you do there's food hot drinks and a bar with reasonable prices what more do you want . Will be going back for the Xmas event .

A great experience! The design and the actors throughout were great and led to a lot of screams around every corner! Queue was a bit annoying though.

👍👍 A good park with play facilities, sculptures, basketball court and a bandstand. The pathways are all in good order - it's about 1km circular route. The outdoor gym facilities are also excellent - two areas and both in good condition (see photos).
