Amazing little space. It's been really quiet both of the times we've visited. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area!

Second time visiting. Beautiful nature local walk. Free parking available. Pub at entrance. Can be some muddy areas so prepare well when it has rained which we made that mistake the first time.

Such a beautiful place to walk around, nice little car park and 2 pubs close by to have a drink or something to eat on way back.

Really nice place, me and the kids had a nice walk and play in the water. Had a great time in the hot sun, and been in the pouring rain too and its lovely.

Park Lime Pits is a lovely nature reserve (located next to a canal) that is great for walking & getting out & about in the fresh air. My son throughly enjoyed paddling in the stream (wellies essential) & finding quirky places to explore. A lovely afternoon out. 👍😃

Great place to take the dog,or the kids, but beware the water is very deep and dangerous, keep them on a lead (kids) a very pleasant stroll round the lake,or along the canal, lot's of wildlife.😄😄😄

A beautiful park for hiking and walking. I went there more than once. It is a quiet place, its location is good, and the people are nice. There is a place for children and adults to play, as well as football, basketball and other games. There is a lake with fish and ducks. Cleanliness must be taken care of continuously so that the place remains clean.

Nice walk, great for kids and adults... P.s. no facilities apart from a pub on the road that use to go into Park Lime pits, so bring water if it's hot

Lovely nature reserve, a bit on the small side unless you factor in the canal into your walk, but that is technically outside of the pits.

Nice walk around with the dogs. Some nice places for the dogs to access the water. Some steep steps and paths.

Lovely walk around two flooded limestone quarries, some great old trees, fair rew steps and gradients for the elderly or those who have mobility issues. As a bonus The Manor Arms is next door as is the canal for further walks.

Nice, fairly quiet, peaceful, interesting bit of forest and pools. With a couple of paths that lead around the area. There's a car park, that could get quite full, quite quickly. Plus at the entrance to the park there's an interesting, quirky real ale pub.

A beautiful, secluded and peaceful nature reserve. Its close to two great pubs and local canal allows for longer walks from it, including to the Arboretum. Worth seeing in every season with an abundance of small birds. Pic from March 2020

Lovely little peaceful walk near the canal. Good for dog walks, mountain biking or a simple chilled stroll. Lovely lake and a small stream. The children will enjoy this walk

This is a well hidden treasure!! A small walk depending on the route you take. It's a wide variety of terrain from grass to gravel and in winter ankle high in mud. There is 1 big lake that is the centre of the park. Great for dogs to have a good swim. Great for fishermen. There is some inclines on the way round, there is also the canal on the entrance to the park so you can choose a canal walk in stead. This is a great spot for photograph opportunities its buzzing with wildlife of all sorts.

Beautiful unspoilt nature reserve , could do with a little tidying up but it is very tranquil. I visited midweek so very quiet

👍👍 A good park with play facilities, sculptures, basketball court and a bandstand. The pathways are all in good order - it's about 1km circular route. The outdoor gym facilities are also excellent - two areas and both in good condition (see photos).
