Suite # 6: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly; The Good: Very nice Pool for guests to use. Observed the pool being maintained and cleaned once during our week stay. Very good hot water and pressure in shower. Nice High Ceilings and Tile work in Suite. Local made Aloe hand sanitizer left in room for guests to use. (2) Off Street Parking Spots for Guests. WIFI available for Guests. The Bad: Suite constructed by a DIY. Suite in need of repair and completion. Peeling Paint, Wires Exposed, Cabinet doors only partially open. Kitchen table made out of a leftover cabinet. Everything in Suite is low budget except tiles. All fixtures are plastic. Many items broken such as shower faucet handle, Clothes Cabinet, Towel Rack, Beach chair, Tissue holder. Only 3 electrical outlets inconveniently situated for guest use in Suite. TV in Suite but never used. Not sure if its operable. We streamed on an I-Pad with the weak WIFI connection. I Contacted Owner/Management for garbage bags because I wanted to remove garbage myself everyday so that it would not attract ants that were in Suite. Owner/Management gave me 3 additional garbage bags but it seemed under duress. Paper towels never replaced. Was given clean beach towels once on the 5th day of our 7 day stay. AC shut off by staff when Suite unoccupied. Door to Owner/ Managements Live in Suite connects to Suite # 6 & Bathroom. Very frugal Owner/Management. The Ugly: The Bedspread, Linens and Bathroom Towels were dirty and stained. Red Stain Streaks and Spots on Bedspread and Brown stains on Bathroom Towels that were changed out and supposably clean. Brown Stain on curtain which covers a large glass door to entrance of Suite. I can only speculate where all of the stains came from. Gross! There is a meter for hot water usage at Bakval Suites. I'm guessing hot water is not used when staff does laundry. We tried to lay down at night on the beach towels which did appear to be clean but were only replaced once near the end of our stay. Neutral Comments: See attached photos of the Good, The Bad & the Ugly. We will not be back. We have stayed at other locations which were much better in Aruba but the photos of the pool and good reviews on line made our decision to try Bakval Suites. The Iguana living on the roof woke us up every morning but helped us get up early and out to the beach on time. I kinda like that guy.

Close to the beach, rooms were great, and the hosts were awesome. The suite included beach chairs, and a cooler for daily use. They responded promptly, and the room was very clean. There are some nice places to hangout by the pool.

The place is beautiful and very private. I went with my wife and children. We had the best time there. We cooked breakfast every morning by the pool. The pool was for ourselves the whole time. The room we got was pretty big, with a lot of space. The beds were king size and comfortable. We had a nice looking bathroom. We also enjoyed the living room with the pool view. Everything was nice and clean. I had a great time using the BBQ area. We were only 3 blocks away from the beautiful beach of Palm Beach. Only 4 blocks from the supermarket and 5 minutes away from Palm Beach Downtown. I would recommend this place. The place looks exactly as the pictures. The owner was very helpful.

It has good location, the rooms have plenty of space... The host, Ana, what a lovely person. The service, the pool I had the best time. You can see the sunsets while you are lay down by the pool. Do not hesitate staying with them if you are looking to have the best time in Aruba

Beautiful stay with the most comfortable bed!! Ana was a wonderful host, the suites are clean and well equipped . Chairs for beach,cooler, beach towels provided. Pool and jacuzzi added benefit. We loved the fact that it was only 6 suites. Friendly atmosphere, definitely would stay again!! Thank you Ana !

This place is fabulous in so many ways and conveniently located. If you want a quiet and quaint spot - this it it! The rooms are clean and equipped with a mini kitchen. The pool area is relaxing with water overflowing from jacuzzi into pool and places to lay/sit that are in the shade as well as in the sun. This place is the perfect getaway. I will definitely be back.

We are staying here for the second time, and certainly not the last! Beautiful apartments. The owner is super friendly. The apartments and the outdoor area (and pool) is always very clean. The service is also great. You can reach the owner at all times. In addition, the location is also perfect. Close to the beaches and in a good neighborhood.

In one word? Perfect. The owner Ana is amazing. She will take care of you like family. She can help with car rentals. Guide you when choosing restaurants, attractions and beaches. The rooms are great. Cold a/c. Extremely clean. The ambiance is excellent. The pool patio amazing. BBQ area incredible. Overall a great place to stay and relax.

I Stayed here for 10 days here in August. There are 6 one bedroom suites here surrounding the pool and jacuzzi. My kinda place. Outside grilling if you do not want to use the kitchen. The AC is awesome. A 10 minute walk to the beach in front of the Marriott with plenty of shopping near by. The suites are very clean and well maintained. Beach chairs and coolers are offered and they can help with any of your needs for tours, taxis or questions. The staff was one of the nicest I have encountered in my travels.

This facility is well situated. Close to the beach and grocery stores. About a ten minute walk to both. The atmosphere is very cosy and welcoming. The hosts Ana and Ramon are very nice and helpfull. The common outdoor cooking area is well equipped. The pool is excellent as was our unit. Clean and comfortable. They even supply bag chairs and a cooler for your trip to the beach. Nice room with everything you need, good wifi connection

stayed here for 9 nights and was perfect. Clean, QUIET, nice pool, great staff and affordable. Won't hesitate to stay here again.
