We had the pleasure of collaborating with the Jarabe Catering Taco truck services for Roselle and Mac's wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. From start to finish, the team worked tirelessly to ensure that the food was nothing short of amazing. The guests, as well as the bride and groom, were absolutely delighted and couldn't stop raving about the exceptional culinary experience provided. It was a true pleasure working alongside such a dedicated and talented team on such a special occasion.

Me and my wife went for breakfast, we had coffee (off menu not great), horchata (amazing), and chilaquiles en salsa roja and a birria burrito California style. The chilaquiles were very mild so I'd recommend for anyone looking for a tame spice dish and the salsas have a kick and are well made. The burrito was a new experience for me but it worked! Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend at least stopping to see if it's for you.

Firstly: spent hours with a friend playing at their modern arcade. And bathrooms and decorations were works of art. But the tacos were excellent, I loved how crispy the fish tacos were yet they were so fresh and not soggy at all. Quesabirrias were amazing as well, only complaint is 10 dollars can be a bit pricey for two small tacos, but worth it.

Some of the best al pastor tacos I've ever had. The freshest chips and great atmosphere. Make an effort and treat yourself to some tasty food.

I went with my cousin for a brunch experience and was surprised that tacos were $4.50 each on average. They were well worth it. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The tacos were delicious and I'll definitely be back for more. They were large and tasty.

Yummy food, delightful service, and a cute spot overall - perfect for lunch!! I got two tacos, one al pastor (marinated pork) and one asada (steak). Both tacos were yummy and the salsas were great, but the steak meat was a big chewy. Also, the al pastor meat was not the best I’ve had in Chicago, but I would have it again nonetheless, it’s still a nice meal. I also tried the coconut orchata, delicious. And the hibiscus lemonade was also great. Paired with friendly service and a cute patio, this is a lovely spot for lunch on Taylor St.!

I kept forgetting if I've left a review for this place or not, so I came to check, and I see that I haven't yet. As a current UIC student, this place is a stone's throw away from the east campus. This is somewhere that you HAVE to go to at least once while you're a student. It is worth it. This was the first place that I've had quesabirria at, and I have walked here several times while on campus for the day just to get the quesabirria again. No questions asked, this is the one place that I will come back to again and again for some quesabirria. I still remember the first time I tried their quesabirria. Hell, the very first time I came here, I actually got the torta, and it was incredibly good too! But the quesabirria is the real star of the show here. From bite one, you can tell that the cooks in the back are bursting at the seams with passion. Birria is notorious for taking a very long time to make, but the wait makes it so worth making. It takes a lot of care to get it right. Every time I've gotten it here, it is perfectly made. Opening the box in a room full of other people causes quite a bit of jealousy, as the first time I ate it in the SEL, a couple of students were coming down the stairs from the second floor, and they could smell it from up there! I swear on my life that this birria is worth getting.

Has to have been one of the best breakfast burritos I had ever eaten, period. Red onions ever so smoothly grace the texture of beans, lime, guacamole, cod, and some chipotle mayo. Disappointed I was upcharged from the $8 special on those to $12 anytime burrito due to protein being fish, but had I known better I'd still strongly consider it. Medium sauces were delicious. Chips were few but fresh, and the horchata is unique and methodically made.

Have been once and was some of the best Mexican food I've had near campus. Staff was nice, the decorations indoors are good, and the food much better than expected. Definitely looking forward to going back.

Awesome and Delicious! Got the burrito with fries on it and it was amazing. The worker (maybe owner?) was extremely helpful and friendly. They also had an old school arcade game with a bunch of games for free.

i bought two burritos steak. burritos were good. the meat was fillet. but each piece of meat was attached to a piece of gristle white folks do not like gristle in their burritos. doesnt matter how good it tastes my friends won't go back if there's gristle. two burritos were almost $30. no need for the gristle.

I purchased 3 steak tacos at this location..tacos we're not good at all.. they were cold..forget about the flavor.. super tiny..and the steak was so tough.. the stars are for the cozy feel of the restaurant other than that.. although the young lady that took my order was pleasant...eh, won't be returning.

First time here, and it was a pain getting to the area, let alone parking. They are in very close proximity to Rush University Medical Center, so you can imagine the traffic and difficulty navigating the area. I came at about 5 pm, so it was pretty lonely (at least inside the food court). I ordered Guacamole & Chips as well as a Quesadilla Grande de Tinga. The tortilla had a unique taste that added great flavor to the overall quesadilla. The Tinga had an okay flavor but was salty. Their salsas were okay, and only one was actually spicy. The guacamole was okay but it needed more flavor. I asked for some lime to add flavor to the guacamole, which made it much better. To drink I had an Agua de Pepino, which was delicious. You can tell it is freshly made. I also tried their agua de Horchata, which was also very delicious. Their aguas frescas really saved this place. I also got to try the tacos Al Pastor. Look, it is a family tradition to make a taquiza every New Years of different meats like Suadero, Longaniza, Lengua, Cabeza and obviously al Pastor. I have never in my life had a sweet al Pastor taco. This taco was sweet but the meat had no flavor and it was a little tough. The tortilla was hard and dry, nothing like the bomb tortilla on my quesadilla. Just not what I expected from a taco Al Pastor. I couldn’t even blame it on a busy restaurant because it was lonely while I was there, but a lot of things were not right, especially with their price point. I genuinely only recommend their aguas frescas.

I am in love with my newly discovered Mexican restaurant, Jarabe! I ordered a burrito, and it was served to me hot and crispy. It was made to order, and it came to me so fresh, juicy, and full of flavors. The burrito was meaty, with a mix of potatoes, beans, avocado, and arugula. I also had the option of choosing the level of spiciness of my sauce. They also have chips that are perfectly seasoned and crunchy. I was also able to try their churros for my dessert, and to my surprise, they were not too sweet compared to those that I have tried before from other stores. I really enjoyed everything that I tried here. The customer service was also quick and friendly. I am definitely going back here to try more of their items on the menu.

Delicious tacos. Tried all but shrimp mojo and calabacitas. Al pastor (pork) definitely stood out to me as being especially good. 5/5

The atmosphere is amazing, the outside patio is so nice and well done. The inside has a lot to look at with a very exciting theme! We had carne asada tacos and chips and salsa. 10/10 would recommend. The juicyness and spice of the steak is authentic and unique to Jarabe in all the best ways!

The company I work for has catered here twice and they have become one of our favorites. The portions for catering are perfect. The tortilla chips have been said to be some of the best we've ever had, they should sell them by the bag!
