I googled for vegetarian restaurants and it showed me this place. It looks kinda like a mix between a school cantina and a restaurant. I asked for a menu but apparently you just point at the stuff you want. The staff hardly spoke any English so I just pointed at some noodles. What I got was a rice noodle soup with some sprouts and various meat replacement things which looked and tasted very interesting. I have no idea what I ate. If it wasn't a vegetarian place I wouldn't have eaten that. But it was actually quite good!! When I put out my wallet the woman said "free free today free'. So apparently I ate for free today but put some money in the donation box. Dont know what I donated for...

I had the box of 5 different dishes on white rice and papaya salad on the side. Amazing food spot! Everything tasted fantastic, very very affordable, and attentive staff. I would go again if I would stay longer in town.

This place is a highlight in Chiang Rai. By far the best vegetarian restaurant in town. It won’t disappoint even meat eaters. They have the ready made options, but they also do some noodle dishes à la carte. Their Khao Soi (curry noodle, a signature dish of Chiang Mai area) is absolutely divine! They have so so many different dishes and vegetarian proteins!!I wish I could speak Thai so I would understand what all foods are about. I was sad to see they use so many plastic to pack the food. What a waste! I wish they can find a planet friendly solution for that. They also sell some industrialized products that are, in my opinion, totally unnecessary. Doctors and nurses from the hospital were eating here, this gives them a even better image, when it comes to “health”.

Got a little bit of almost everything for a big breakfast. Served on red rice. Everything was tasty and the staff was polite. Free self-serve water and soup. Everything here cost 60 baht.

The food is really good and the vegan selection also fantastic. Even if you are not vegan you should try.. Asian's have been doing mock meat for hundreds of years ;)

Very good vegan restaurant. They have many choices. The Kao Soi is specially very delicious!

Amazing local vegetarian buffet! We loved everything we tried, really recommended if you want to taste some authentic vegetarian food! The staff is also very friendly.

Nice khao~gaeng buffet with a choice of rice or noodles with mock meats, vegetables and curries.. Also have a 'mini mart' where you can buy various vegan products. Great food and ultra~friendly service. If you're not sure what you want try a few things together it won't break the bank.

It’s been a great discovery. Wide choice of vegetarian food, organic products, wonderful service and space. Very competitive price, from 30 to 50 bath for a meal.

Cool vegetarian place with some funky dishes. Good if you are on a budget, meals are around 30-40 baht and very filling. Also, no msg and all organic ingredients, thumbs up!

The Best place!! We came here everyday for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Staff were lovely! Meals were delicious & very very reasonable in portions & prices. Each day they have a big variety of different meals to chose from. It’s hard to get the right nutrients you need as a vegetarian/vegan travelling but this place has got you covered! They have various protein alternatives & lots of fresh veggies! Would recommend :)

I had discovered this vegetarian restaurant 3 years ago, and was happy to see they have survived the covid shutdown and are still in business. Tasty meatless options, healthy and hearty. Choose 2, 3, or 4 mains on top of brown rice for 35b, 40b, or 45b, quite a fair price. Added a bottle of soda water for only 10b. Staff speak English and are helpful. Unfortunately, like so many other restaurants in town, it's not open for dinner. Will return anytime I'm nearby.

A must for all vegetarian & vegans out there! Even if you aren't, amazing food, incredible staff and different options daily. Such an amazing price as well! Must visit!!!

Boonsita is a typical Thai/Chinese vegan restaurant on the main street. Choose whatever you want from the display. It’s all good, even if not most of it is great.

Good clean food with local atmosphere

Absolutely amazing veggie food and great value for money. We got one of every dish, a side curry and a side soup for just 80 baht and it was all delicious.
