Mod Pizza offers a unique and delightful pizza experience. Their made-from-scratch pizzas are assembled right before your eyes, allowing for customization and ensuring freshness. It's like Subway, but for pizza! The quality and taste are exceptional, making each bite a satisfying delight. Despite the high quality, Mod Pizza remains reasonably priced, providing great value for your money. Savor the fresh flavors and enjoy a deliciously customizable pizza experience at Mod Pizza.

My family came to Mod after a flight into Chicago. We arrived at 8:15; no one was behind the counter. The restaurant was empty. A team member came out on her phone, and we were promptly informed that the restaurant would be closing early. Not ideal, but they agreed to make the pizzas. It took 45 MINUTES to make 4 PIZZAS! There were 4 team members at the store, yet only 1 was making all 4 pizzas. Eventually, someone came out to fire. The individual making our pizzas could not keep our requests straight; they did not remember our order and struggled to ring it up despite being remended multiple times. The individual firing the pizza had her phone on the counter, face-timing the entire time. Needless to say, our kids were growing impatient, and we were definitely frustrated with repeating our orders numerous times. We received an apology, but words don't mean much when actions don't match. The pizza was good, as expected, but customer service left much to be desired.

The service here was sub par and peculiar. We were greeted pretty quick but told multiple times they'd be with us in a moment. As they prepared a Door Dash order (we heard them say it) eventually another employee was told to take our order and he just stood there confused. With additional prodding he finally figured it out. The order taker was frequently difficult to hear, didn't appear very interested in preparing our meal, and didn't walk us through the process very well. I was very disappointed to arrive at 7:45 PM and told the dining room was closed even though they were open until 10PM. We were allowed to eat at the outside dining area, but I couldn't even dispose of my garbage because they covered up all the indoor garbage cans with bins. Talk about creating a very unwelcoming atmosphere. We looked forward to eating inside with air conditioning after spending 3 hours outside humidity for a softball tournament. At least the employees will be able to go home right at 10 PM at the expense of our comfort and enjoyment of dinner. Not sure I would want to come back with such indifference towards customers.

Bad customer service. I went to pickup up my order. I was given the wrong order, did not notice until I was halfway back home. I went back and told them it wasn't my order. They didn't say anything or apologize about it. I had to wait 20 minutes to get my order which defeats the whole purpose of online pick up. I got home and saw my pizza. This is how one of them looked like.

Customer service was sub par we had to request this guy put gloves on after I saw him adjusting his private area & he wasn’t to happy about that. He also has a cigarette on his ear around customers food. We won’t be back go to New Lenox or homewood location

What a great concept. Start with the dough, choose your toppings, baked fresh in theboizza oven. Delicious!! Limited wine and beer selection is a bonus. My kids love the chocolate shakes and picking out their own ingredients.

I usually order for delivery or pick up and the staff is always super friendly and efficient but this past time they exceeded my expectations! I went fairly close to closing time for my pick up order and realized I forgot to add a drink and peppermint no name cake, so I was going to buy them separately but the young men working gave it to me on the house. I used to work for the competitor of Mod and swore by them, but I’ve gotta say, this location has made me realize that Mod is elite

Placed my order at 8:30 on the app arrived at the place at 8:45. They hadn't even started my order and no one else was in the restaurant. As I was waiting in the restaurant for my order, they literally were taking down all the chairs and cleaning around us, dragging all the bar stools in front of us as we waited. They were supposed to be open until 10 PM. I get wanting to get out of there and starting to clean but if you have customers you should not be cleaning and taking the stools right next to them-move to a different section. We would have liked to have eaten our pizza hot there, but we were not welcome to so we took it home. It was still good

If you enjoy the ubiquitous rice based gluten free crust option; the one that is utterly devoid of flavor, that is tough and nearly impossible to chew once it’s been in a pizza oven and cooled slightly then you won’t be disappointed. I’m not a fan. What I take the most issue with is the scarcity of the dairy free cheese. I could have made a better gluten free pizza at home and saved myself $29. Such a disappointment. I’m happy these options are available don’t get me wrong, but it’s such a let down because the execution is just terrible. There are better gluten free crust options on the market, and there’s no need to be so stingy with the cheese.

I go to our location in Downers Grove, IL often with my wife and 1-2 times per year with my running teams. In fact, there is a location closer to us but we always choose this one because of their outstanding service, friendliness and ability to make incredible pizzas :). Tonight was no exception when I took my team there for dinner. They ran 12 of us thru the line in 10 minutes max. The friendliness, politeness and efficiency of the staff was stellar as always. I don't know names, but it was an all female staff tonight and everyone contributed. I commended the general manager on the great job they were when he actually came over to our table to thank us for coming. A great guy and great staff in every way...kudos to all of you!! And the pizzas were delicious1

Truly the worst pizza I’ve ever eaten. Extremely undercooked, felt like i was chewing playdough and then there’s barely any cheese or toppings? Okay lol Blaze pizza is 10x better

Loved it. My pizza was DELICIOUS! My salad was AMAZING! I love that I get to choose whatever I want. Only downfall they had run out of a lot of ingredients because it was Teacher's Appreciation week. This will be my new spot!

I got the Mad Dog pizza and it was good. Made fresh right in front of me, with lots of options to include, was great. Best of all it doesn't cost more to add ingredients. Nice decor and priced fair, it's a great lunch choice.

Food was fine. Service was horrible. Employees were dismissive didn't listen to what we ordered and completely disregarded our order. If I didn't go up to complain, would probably have never gotten any food. Incredibly disappointing.

The employees are consistently friendly and the pizza is quite good for an on the fly kind of deal. They ran out of a few ingredients pretty early but it wasn't a big deal. 10/10 would recommend 👌

I have been a big fan of their pizzas for a while. The only problem I had was that when I would ask for extra pepperoni I would get maybe 10-12 pepperoni on the whole pizza, so I decided to ask them to put “as much pepperoni as legally allowed” and they not only accepted my challenge, but showed me there are no laws when it comes to making a pizza. I was blown away by the sheer amount of pepperoni that they graced upon my now seemingly minuscule pizza. When I made that request, I could have never imagined being met with exactly what I dream of at night. This pizza was the definition of excellence and showed me that you can never live your dreams unless you take the simple step of asking. Though I may pay for all that pepperoni later, no amount of stomach pain can erase the impeccable experience of eating that pizza. To whoever made it, I want to thank you for making my year and let your manager know that you deserve a raise.
