One of the better breakfast spots in Windsor. Nice sized portions and the potatoes with fried onions is just delicious with eggs cooked to your liking. The wait staff is always super friendly and so are the owners. Definitely a nice family spot to dine. Their dinners are also good, my daughter always orders the chicken parmigiana.

This is a great old restaurant been in service for over 40 years i guess!! Waitress was nice and service was quick, the food was delicious and we would definetly go back!

What a fantastic restaurant. Everything was so flavorful. They even had chocolate milkshakes! Do you know how difficult it is to get a genuine milkshake in this city? And no, sorry, BK and McD's milkshakes are not the real thing. What this restaurant served was the real thing. I also ordered a steak dinner, and the meat was just divine! I am definitely coming back.

The soup warms my soul. A nice quiet place with home cooked styled meals. The chef is great and the staff is friendly. Miss the soup and salad bar.

Been coming here for the past couple of years and I love the fact that they are open 364 days a year. We ordered a bunch of food and all of them were tasting pretty good. Portions were great too and you will feel satisfied in the end. Service was great and had no issues. Definitely worth checking this place out. Also I love the ambience in this restaurant.

Great service from the time we walked in until we left and the food was absolutely amazing!! Gotta love all day breakfast! Very dated but I didn't go there for the decor!

The unique interior design with lots of logs and wood,such as tables, poles, walls. One level but large size with 4 separated areas which good for group gathering. Some old pictures and objects related lumber. The parking is very convenient.

Was not impressed the customer service from the person who greeted us was terrible. Luckily the person who waited on us was better or we would have left immediately. The food was ok, took longer than we had expected since I only ordered fish cakes, a Cesar salad and a sandwich and my wife ordered a salmon dish. In fairness, the salad was not bad, i think the price I paid for two fishcakes wasn’t,t equivalent, maybe it was the cultural differences. The sandwich was good for the most part but my wife’s salmon had no flavor and the vegetable look like they were from a can. When we were leaving the guy walked was suppose to be greeting people walked away like he wanted to avoid telling us bye. Probably wont go back. We will see.

An old school vibe to the restaurant that can take you back to a simpler time. You sit yourself down, and a waiter will come to you. The menu is simple and easy enough to understand what you would want. The food comes out nice and hot. The food tasted pretty good. I did try out the peameal ham, it was a bit of a different taste than I was expecting, but not too terrible. Overall a good meal and easy to see why the locals like this place.

I have been to Lumberjack many times but this was my daughter's first time. The waiter (I'd like to call him an older gentleman but realistically he was probably my age) was attentive while not being too much so and responsive. The food was good. Kid got a half order of French Toast and French Fries (I know, I know,) and said they were very good. I got the roast beef and cheddar omelet with home fries and onions and rye toast and the food was pretty good. While our waiter was excellent and we were seated away from the server station, it was impossible to miss the lady that appeared to be yelling at the servers. We were far enough away that I don't know what warranted the demeanor but it appeared to be ongoing for the hour-ish we were there. I have not, in previous visits, witnessed anything like this so can only assume it's a rare thing (I hope for the servers and manager). Nice diner, good food, and overall good service. I'd recommend.

Friendly staff, good food, HUGE portions. My prime rib steak was a bit more towards the rare side than I asked but I still enjoyed it a lot. The Walkerville Brewery blueberry cider was very fruity and delicious. Will return next time I’m in Windsor again.

This place was on my bucket list of places I had to go to while visiting Windsor. It didn’t disappoint. An extremely spacious restaurant with extremely friendly staff. Good price for food too

You have to try the home fries here ! Cooked with onions and house spices these things will get your taste buds dancing in your mouth. I enjoyed my breakfast so much I went back inside and told Rose how wonderful my meal was! Wonderful people work here and create good tasty food, I had to modify the menu and Rose made sure I was accommodated. Which made it easy to get a Vegan friendly breakfast. I can't wait to go back for breakfast! You gotta check this place out !!

The bacon was good, but the eggs were bland as heck and the hash browns needed more time in the fryer!

There isn't anything to say bad about Lumber Jack. I can see why in business for 45 years, nice place to eat and visit with friends. The prices are a little high, but it's in Windsor and We live in Michigan. Thank you for the service. The spaghetti was good, the boiled salmon was good and the beef strips were good. We all loved the french fries with the gravy.

Stopped in for lunch with my girlfriend as we were out shopping. We split the Reuben and the Clubhouse. Little disappointed that the Clubhouse had chicken instead of turkey but it was still good. Plenty of fries and coleslaw (which neither of us cared for). There was only one other table in the restaurant at 1pm on a Friday. Waiter was excellent!

This is one of my favourites to go to when visiting Windsor. We usually head here for breakfast/brunch There is usually a way to be seated (because it’s good and popular). The food is delicious and served hot. Usually service is very good. However, this time service was a bit slower than normal but other than that it was good. I highly recommend the eggs Benedict, the omelette or the complete breakfast.

This was always my go to place with friends on a Sunday. I moved out of town and whenever I’m home, it’s my top place to meet up with friends for brunch. The food is so good, especially the potatoes with onions and seasoning! Service is top notch. You can really see how much the staff works as a team, I was there this weekend and the staff are just amazing! Keep up the great work! I love it here.

Service was very friendly and good but the food was terrible. Burnt bacon, dry pancakes, cold home fries and undercooked eggs. Much of our breakfasts went uneaten. Too bad because the atmosphere is cozy and wait staff so nice. Also, if you are gluten free there are no gluten free options here.

Really good clubhouse. They use real meat and not lunch meat on this dish. Prices are reasonable I paid $16 for the clubhouse and it was extremely filling.Out waiter was really nice and helpful. I would definitely come back!

Really good food, super cute decor and atmosphere. Love all the wood, really makes you feel like you're in a cabin somewhere. Friendly staff too!!

Always have quick friendly service, even on the busiest of days. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. One of our favourite breakfast restaurants.

Surprised at the prices for supper meals: about $25 for entree. BBQ chicken, 55+ version, was very good and portion was perfect. Lots of menu choices, but not sure if we would return when two regular meals are more than $50, before beverages.

Delicious as usual. Generous portion size, too. I'm not eating in restaurants yet but still want to support my favourites. It was good to see diners enjoying themselves. Will be dining in again soon🤞

Oh how I wish we were able to leave zero stars! This so disgusting and disappointing. Do you just rush out your take out orders and not care, because the customer is not face to face with you? Ordered eggs benedict and everything came in separate containers? My eggs (which were hard) was in water, with no seasoning at all. The hollandaise sauce you can tell is just power mixed with water, because there is no flavor at all! I normally go to your restaurant and sit down to eat, enjoying the food and atmosphere, but after seeing your lack of care for take out orders and customers, I will not be coming back. And this is not a one off, because it was a large order and other people who ordered threw out their food, as did I! VERY DISAPPOINTING, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!

A great well established family run restaurant. The decor is rustic and well maintained, the staff is friendly and welcoming and the food in our experience has always been good. We have been coming here for 20+ years and have almost always had a good experience. They can handle individual diners and huge groups. The days the wood fired oven is running make the dining room smell wonderful. The food is hearty and generous and always hot. I can say without reservation, they have the best coffee I've had in any restaurant in Windsor.
