Entertaining for kids, not setup for hiking information but the staff are helpful and have good knowledge (mine did anyway)

Buy tickets outside for a week use for the National Park and entrance to the Visitor Center. Playful display of all aspects of this unique National Park. You need a valid ticket , 10Lei, per person to enter over the Park boundary

A beautiful national park where you can enjoy a nice hike and see amazing wildlife. The mountain range is amazing and it’s so peaceful.

Modern informative, wonderful for kids

Worth visiting, especially with kids, very entertaining even for adults. There is very kind worker lady, who also speaks English.

The visitor centre includes: displays (3D model of the massif, replicas of a cave and a sheepfold, various theme displays, dioramas, etc.), and a tourist information point.

Free. Very nice interactive museum. Don't miss it in Zarnesti for kids.

Fantastic building and exhibition. The lady on duty had really good advice for hiking in the area; she was also very friendly and spoke good English.

An important stop prior to entering the Piatra Craiului national park. A representative advised us on where to visit, taking into consideration our car, equipment and needs. The park offers roads and treks available to all level of difficulty, and the visitor center is a great place to familiarize yourself with your options. Parking available.
