Came here and stayed for 3 days. Rooms are on the small/medium size but is perfect for 1-2 people. Staff was amazing and extremely helpful with any request I asked. My GF stubbed her toe and they went out of their way to get an ice pack. Extremely clean facility aswell and across the street from the bus station. Had a great stay and highly recommend.

I have mixed feelings. Very expensive for what they offer. Miniature rooms with very small windows that can not be open. Far from the center, located in an industrial district. Nice staff though. The only plus is the free parking.

I recently stayed at B&B HOTEL Amsterdam-Zaandam with my family and we booked two rooms. While the hotel served its purpose as a place to rest, there were some areas that left us wanting more. The rooms were relatively small, which was manageable for a short stay but could be problematic for longer visits or for guests requiring more space. What really stood out, however, was the lack of amenities. The hotel provided just a small bar of soap and a single liquid shower gel for multiple uses—body, hair, and face. This felt rather stingy, especially when even basic amenities like a toothbrush or toothpaste were missing. Another inconvenience was the absence of a telephone in the room to contact the reception. This meant that for any query or service request, a trip downstairs was necessary, which is not ideal, especially late at night or early in the morning. While the hotel was functional for a short stay, improvements could certainly be made in the areas of space and amenities to make for a more comfortable experience.

We came in around 9:30 at night. Silvan checked us in and went above and beyond to make our stay very welcoming. The hotel was extremely clean, breakfasts were well priced and tasty. Bus stop back to Central Station was only a five or so minute walk. Great hotel! Would definitely stay here again.

I visited the hotel during the ADE days and was very satisfied. The hotel is very clean and offers enough parking spaces. You can quickly get anywhere in Amsterdam by car. The breakfast is ok.

This is a great budget hotel. The rooms are great, but pretty basic. The rooms come with TV, no microwave or a kettle. The location of this hotel is bit challenging though. The hotel is located outside of the main city. There is only one bus (391) that comes to this location, and that bus does not accept the regular GVB ticket that is used for all other busses and trams within the city. When we arrived in amsterdam, we found it bit challenging as to which ticket to purchase. We ended up purchasing GVB ticket, which was basically useless for us. So, please please, if you do decide to book this hotel and plan to use public transport, make sure you do the appropriate research and know where to purchase the ticket.

1-i paid taxes for two rooms instead of 1, i knew that because i booked another 5 stars hotel and paid half what i paid for this hotel. The employee think it is based on the number of people not on the number of rooms 🤦. 2- they gave us a room that does not have hot water. We have had to move to another room and bring all our stuff again... 3- the showering water system is not good, the hot water go down on you as someone spitting🤦. 4- the people were nice and welcoming, and they try to help.

Nice hotel to accommodate for affordable prices. Rooms are basic. Nothing luxury. Only issue we had was not having pillow cases. We had to take it from the reception. For those who have a plan to see Amsterdam mainly, another type of bus ticket has to be gotten to take the bus(391) that comes to Zaandam. Daily bus ticket is 11.5 Euro that is also valid on GVB vehicles.

The only thing bad about the hotel is the location as it is in the middle of nowhere 😂 but the staff is adorable and they are super helpful!!! Truly thank you guys!!! You made our stay 100% easier

We pay for expensive price. and then have to pay additional tourist tax But what I received was terrible. The hotel air conditioner is broken on a very hot day. But there is no notification. receptionist in the morning speak badly to us and to other customers. Every morning at 9-10 you'll wake up to the sound of a hammer drill. There are no convenience stores around the hotel or anything. If you are hungry, you must take the bus to Saadam.

Clean, however not too big room. Comfy beds. Modern and clean douche and toilet. Free parking. Can recommend for travellers by car.

Perfect for our requirements. Easy to get to Amsterdam via a short bus & then train ride.

First time at Nederland, I was too nervous but I felt comfortable quite easy at arriving to the hotel. Kindness people ever.

Although the location is not so great, the rooms are super for the price. They were neat and clean and quiet. It is not so far from Zaanse Schans, so it's still a nice place to stay if you want great value for money.

Hotel is great, rooms are good, beds are comfy but small, no kettle or fridge in rooms, which was needed for a stay longer then a day, breakfast included not a huge breakfast but does help if you staying for business but an extra 2.50 euro for a coffee… staff friendly and helpful…

We stayed here for 4 days in May.☺️ The hotel is nice and clean, rooms are little bit small but for the price you pay you get what you get.☺️ The thing I want to really say is that the staff in this hotel was suuuuuper nice!! I’m allergic to gluten so I asked them if they have some gluten free options for me in the morning for breakfast. They prepared fresh warm gluten free buns just for me every morning I was there and if you ever had a food allergy you know how appreciated it is when someone goes an extra mile just to make sure you eat well and that there is no food contamination with gluten for me. I was so happy and so thankful that I had to leave this review because they made me so happy those few days easing me my trip a bunch.🥹 When I return to Amsterdam again I know where I am going to stay again.😊

Avoid this hotel First of all a very rude staff, i came at the reception to ask them if they can change my room because the bed was full of hair, the answer of the receptionist was: “what you want me to do at 22:00pm”. Finally they change my room and surprise surprise in the new room i find finger nail on the towels and facial hair in the sink. Would not recommend this hotel

Perfect value for money. Situated within 2 minute walking distance of a direct bus to the center of Amsterdam. Nice little budget hotel, with clean rooms and comfy beds. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Would have been 4 star as we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel but the last evening the receptionist on a man with glasses didn't apologise after suggesting we hadn't paid for our breakfast which we did , he maybe just forgot to apologise for his error but it's okay not a big deal , didn't get her name but receptionist on 28/10/22 evening was very helpful and welcoming good bus links to the city center breakfast was fine also for the price , only other downside is they don't take cash which I understand more and more places aren't but I always like to have both cash and card options , but all in all I would definitely recommend this hotel very good value and the 2 negative points are nothing major

The room was double bed but pretty small, bathroom also. It was clean and seemed like recently renovated. Breakfast was functional, as I would expect for budget hotel. Service was OK.

Everything was really fine, the stuff absolutely friendly and sweet! You can also rent bikes there etc. The rooms were clean and bed was made everyday. But the AC was not working in our rooms. Thats the only thing that bothered us but the rest was very good. The location was okay but you cant really walk to any other locations. You have to go by bike, bus or car(car not recommended tho) Zaandam city was a 12 minute ride by bike away and also supermarkets.

The air conditioner is not working so it gets quite hot, otherwise everything was fine

Staff was friendly and the room was clean and quiet. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn't really do anything Hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but there's parking and good bus connections.

38 deg outside and aircon for the whole hotel was down! Of course they will not mention it upfront. It was stuffy and if u opened the window, u will hear traffic noises and mosquitoes flew in. So my advice before u book this hotel is to check if the airco is working. They should have given some discount to the room prices

LOCATION ISNT GOOD! Hotel on dark industrial estate. Unsafe (especially if you're on your own walking to hotel). It's a basic budget hotel. Room was in 3rd floor. Modern interior and bathroom nice with decent beds, black out blinds and modern TV. Breakfast was decent. Not awful as some reviews say. Basic continental breakfast with cereal, fruit, yogurt, rolls, coffee etc. But location is only good if your in car. Not good for tourists to walk to. Bus stations near but expensive. Ages from Zaamdam centre and station. Hotel OK, location not...

In the first room we found hair on the sheets, after consultation with the staff they gave us an another room, they didn't even say sorry and guess what in the new room we found another hair on the pillow but we gave up with just an recension. Staff unkind! Room nice but obviously not clean. Location okay!

Staff was so rude bar one member, I didn’t get her name but she had a lion tattoo on her arm, she was the nicest and so welcoming! Rooms were absolutely filthy and there was blood stains on the sheets, when brought up to the cleaning team and reception, we were told that nothing could be done, it was great sleeping on the floor for 3 nights. Drilling and construction started at 8am. On the first night our key cards stopped working and we had to wait on one of the receptionist to come back and let us into our rooms and reactivate our cards which took an additional 20 minutes because they couldn’t find us in the system despite already been checked into the room. Absolute joke of a hotel, doesn’t even deserve 1 star
