We stopped for lunch when driving through the town,and we were met with a friendly and courteous waiter and had excellent food from quality ingredients expertly prepared by the chef. Absolutely recommended !

One of my favourite places to stay and eat( so far). Very professional staff, good food( little pricey) very nice accomodations. Clean room, comfortable bed and a full minibar. I'm definitely coming back.

I love the carpet instead of tiles, I love the wood furniture instead of cheap panels, I love the curtains instead of reluxa blinds, I love the shower gel/toothbrush/soap…

Rooms are small but clean,the car parking in front of the hotel is very convenient and the hotel staff is very polite and helpful.AVOID the restaurant.

The hotel is outdated, the furniture is old (bathroom included). The staff was kind of indifferent, although it is helpful, but don't expect smiles from them. There is a close summer garden type restaurant, belonging to the hotel which is a nice place, but the food was kind of expensive and not very tasty. they pretend to be a high class restaurant, but the meniu is average

The room does not have a welcoming atmosphere. The furniture is too used and looks bad. Bathroom was ok. Breakfast was good, with everything in. We serve dinner on the terrace which look very nice but unfortunately the food was noting special as we thought will be. To bad for this place, the staff is really good. Need an investion on the hotel and offer a better food.

Newly renovated rooms with air conditioning are ok, but even shortly after the renovation the shower curtains can't keep the bathroom from flooding. Sometimes there is a bad smell from the drain. But everything is tidy and the beds are great. What really makes the stay worthwhile is the outdoor restaurant open in summer. Great food for a fair price and a really nice place to enjoy your evening.

Clean hotel, placed in a nice location. There is a nice smell to the room and the prices are fine. I particularly liked the furniture which at first glance might look old but is actually very well cared for.

The hotel is very welcoming. Nice staff members, cozy rooms and the food is excellent. Everytime I visit Zalau, I book a room here. I truly recommend this place!

You can see that it is an old hotel that has been recently renovated. The rooms are cozy, the TV is kinda small for the dimensions of the room. Another downside is that the radiator is behind the drapes, and in the winter the heat gets trapped there. The food in the restaurant is pretty good. The weekend I stayed there, both on Saturday and Sunday, there were private parties at the restaurant (a wedding and one baptism) and the music got pretty loud (my room was on the 1st floor)

Hotel is expasi and quality is not the best.
