One of Guadalajara's only vegetarian restaurants that opens early for breakfast, seven days a week. There is so much to like about El Jardin. The food is delicious, healthy, and very reasonably priced. They've got about 40 things on the menu, and I think their "tofu con vegetales" is impossible to beat. You get a big thinly-sliced piece of seasoned sauteed tofu accompanied by roasted vegetables and refried beans. It's served with bread and your choice of chopped fruit or green salad. All of this for 85 pesos. Nearly everything on the menu except for the egg dishes can be served vegan upon request, and they offer both vegan cheese and vegan butter. The place is kept fastidiously clean, no doubt because the owner is always there. The staff he hires is super nice. They also do a fixed-price buffet starting at 1:00 p.m. Good wi-fi, too. I just can't say enough nice things about this place.

We drove from Lake Chapala, where we live, to try El Jardín afternoon buffet and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is cute and the staff super friendly. Today 15 February 2023 the buffet is $169 pesos 🇲🇽 food, pizza, drink and dessert included. We really enjoyed our meals and selection .When I found out the pizza was not gluten free they offered to make me a few vegan 🌽 corn cheese mushroom 🍄 quesadillas. Yum, thank you! Highly recommend!

I've been going to El Jardín over 10 years, every time with the full trust that the taste, variety and qualify of their ingredients will be great as long with the service. I'm not vegetarian/vegan but everything is sooo delicious! I've also learned how to use vegetables and seeds in my daily diet. They serve awesome breakfasts and offer all you can eat buffet for supper. It's so nice to see how the owner loves his place, he is always there checking every detail and making sure everyone feel comfortable. They also keep their own decor style and keep improving it time to time to get the best of the space, it truly feels like a garden even if is indoors.

Great vegetarian buffet. They change the dishes often and there's a bar to ask for huitlacoche and flor de calabaza quesadillas. It does get crowded and chaotic at times though.

This place is so badass. I came here everyday of my 5 day trip to Guadalajara. Great way to get fresh veggies, hearty food, and a nice environment all in one. Wish they had one in CDMX.

Lovely food, I believe price has gone up a little looking at older review. Still well within my budget. For this kind of food I am willing to pay more then they charge. Fresh and delicious. Chill vibe, clean toilet.

El Jardin is a vegetarian’s heaven. We are not vegetarian. But vegetarian is my preferred food choice. The dining area is set up like a garden, spacious and super clean. The staff are very friendly. We arrived right after breakfast was over, it was not yet lunch time. Staff were bringing out lunch buffet. Yet they allow us to start as we please. We were also being reminded not to forget dessert bar. The choices are plenty. Salad, soup, grilled veggies, stewed tempeh based pseudo meat dishes and healthy bread. There is also tacos, quesadillas made to order as well as pizza. The food is so flavorful, who needs meat for umami? If we live in the area, we probably will be there every week, if not more often. I highly recommend this place for vegetarian, omnivores or even carnivores. The food is clean, healthy yet super delicious. The cost was about $10 for all you can eat.

Very healthy and tasty. Cheap regarding the quality, comfortable. Nice, respectful atmosphere, waiters, contrary to the very rude waitress serving pizza.

Absolutely fantastic vegetarian breakfast spot! We got the lonche vegetariano and the omelete mediterránea, and were blown away. I also highly recommend their juices and coffee. Great service from Lidia as well!

So nice, we ate here twice! We only had four days in Guadalajara, and we ate breakfast at El Jardín twice. We are a veggie/vegan couple and we absolutely loved the food. We left fully stuffed and it was so inexpensive. While we don't mind trying to speak Spanish, we are native English speakers and our waiter (I believe his name was Jesus) was able to speak with us in English which was helpful to us. I highly recommend getting the torta ahogada - it was delicious! The chilaquiles and tofu a la mexicana were also amazing. You can't go wrong here!

The portions are amazing! A fresh juice is a must. I ordered the Taco Marroqui and was not disapointed. I will be back!

Great vegan options, nice environment to eat in, food was good. Juices were good but a little too watery for our taste. Would return - they had vegan cheese, crema and butter options, but sadly we were too early to try the buffet. We had the Texana burger and the red chilaquiles, both were great, bread served alongside was too sweet for our taste but they did give us a bowl of salad (broccoli, courgette, tomato any maybe chayote) alongside with pesto which was nice.

I come here whenever I'm craving an a great salad and just fill up my plate with dark leafy greens and some seeds, sprouts, and their delicious green pesto dressing which is one of the best salad dressings I've ever tasted.

One of my favorite restaurants in Guadalajara! I am not a vegan nor vegetarian but every time I eat here I feel better and it's very filling. The food is very fresh! I recommend it it all my friends and they love it!

The place is pleasant, the food is not. All the cold buffet is tasteless and with nearly no sauces. The hot buffet is extremely boring, they don't follow any recipe, it feels like random ingredients put together without any grace by someone with absolutely no training on how to cook tasty and healthy vegetarian food. A truly disappointing feast of bad dishes

Straight blew my mind all you can eat for 120 pesos, dessert, Cafe, aqua, salad, soup, bread, pizza vegan and vegetarian 😋 is my spot but full for two.days. I'll be back.
