The hotel is located in the best spot of the old town! The view of the room and also breakfast hall is stunning! Towards the Blue mosque, sea and all attractions! The reception is also perfect and helpful, but room was not good as much as we expected! The bathroom has not good smell and the water was not drain smoothly during shower.

This time was our second time in that hotel. Our first time was for 9 Month. Because it suits us, we took this hotel again. We had a tremendous view over Istanbul directly in front of sultan Ahmed and Hagia Sofiya (see pictures). The stuff is really obliging 👍🏼 if we visit Istanbul again, we will chose this hotel again.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel is in a great location, just off the main road and very close to the Blue Mosque/Hagia Sophia. Service was excellent, wait staff and front desk staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was also stellar, with a wide variety of options (including eggs and not just pastry’s). The view from the restaurant up top is stunning and definitely a must see. Although the rooms were clean and very modern, my only complaint would be that they are a tad on the small side. There was also a faint odour present in the bathroom, but it eventually subsided. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and family, and definitely will come back if I’m in Istanbul again!

This was my third time staying at this property. I used to love staying here as my past experience have been phenomenal. But a lot was changed this time. The property has not been very well maintained. I found out from an old staff that it’s under new management after Covid. And believe me the service has gone totally downhill. They used to have the best breakfast buffet with lots of variety and now it has changed to a la cart. Problem with that is, the menu is same 7 days a week which gets pretty boring if you’re staying more than 2 nights. The staff would only take your order promptly the first time. After that, they start ignoring you. And if you have to order something the third time, it feels like you’re begging them. They don’t even give you a refill on orange juice without asking. I needed a wheelchair and the one provided to me was broken. I complained several times and each time they promised they will fix it and never did. The floor of my room was super dirty as well. I would never book this hotel again.

This is an excellent hotel. Great value for money. Clean room, the best location in Istanbul (literally 150 meter away from T1 tramway station) you can see Higa Sofia from your room and the food is also top. Staff are friendly and supportive (specially Mr. Utkan) goes the extra mile to help. And they speak good English. Highly recommend!

This hotel and staff are generous and wonderful! The breakfast was included and it was with service not a buffet which was great. The view to the breakfast was beautiful you can see the blue mosque and Hagia. The rooms are big in size and spacious which we loved. We had the city/sea view and it was beautiful towards the night time with big windows. It was very clean and had room service for cleaning as well if you wanted it. We were helped with luggage during check in and check out. They have two elevators as well! It is a five minute walk to the mosque and a safe neighborhood.

    - great location - reception staffs are very friendly and helpful. Not so much for the restaurant staffs on the top floor. - Breakfast is not a buffet style but plenty of choices and you can also ask for more. Food are mostly pre-made and not so fresh. Bread are staled on the first day but better on the second day. - room is clean and comfy. Overall, good for the price.

FILTHY ROOMS. All towels stained. Sheets and pillow stained. Clump of someones hair on my floor. Under the chair visibly full of dirt and dust, never swept. Toilet flush buttons NEVER WIPED HOW DISGUSTING! Putrid sewage smell came from the bathroom 50% of the time. There’s no excuse for such disgusting filthy rooms. It would be such a great hotel if they remedied this. This hotel is a health hazard.

This was an amazing hotel stay. Everyone was super nice and helpful. I truly cannot express how kind everyone at reception and dining was. The view was unbeatable. You can see the Blue Mosque and the Haiga Sofia from most of the rooms and from the roof area. It is only a 5 minute walk to the Blue Mosque and a 10 minute walk to the Haiga Sofia and Grand Bazaar.

If you want to be at the heart of Sultanahmet area, this is THE hotel to stay. We loved our stay here so much and wished we had time to stay longer. Cemil at the Front Desk was our first contact with the hotel, and he was the epitome of someone who truly understands what great customer service is! We were given a room with the best view of BOTH Ayia Sofia and the Blue Mosque, and overall, it was a fantastic stay. Free minibar in the room (when you download the hotel app) was a big bonus and really generous gesture. Ala-carte breakfast on the rooftop was excellent too, and the view from up there is even more fantastic. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip. Very highly recommended.

Reasonably priced with great and very welcoming staff/ service. Very strategically located near to all key attractions. Safe location and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Roof top restaurant offers beautiful views and serves a huge breakfast and lunch/dinner. Hotel arranged airport pickup/drop services, full inclusive excursion trips to other cities/sites in Turkey. Highly recommend this place for anyone considering visiting Istanbul.

I have stayed here twice now, once in 2018 and again in 2021. This hotel has one of the best views of the city, right from your room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the mosques and Bosporus. It is right in the heart of one of the main tourist districts, so perfect location if you are visiting Istanbul for tourism. It's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for and the price is fair for the quality and amenities of the hotel. I have already recommended this hotel to many friends and will continue to do so.

I would like to personally thank Cemil Etinci, Emir Kitaj, Atalay, Erin Kaja, Recai K. and Aclem Ozbay not only for the incredible hospitality but for all the great recommendations and help overall. Stayed over a month ago and had an incredible time in Istanbul. Great location about 15 to 30 mins from most major sites in the city and literally 5 mins away from the 2 moscs. The restaurant at the hotel is an absolute hidden gem. Incredible food with an amazing view. Can't get over this hotel and can't wait to come back soon!

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were spacious and tidied everyday, and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The tourist attractions were less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel which was really convenient as we did not have to book taxis to get around. I will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend this hotel to others who are visiting Istanbul.

Very close to all tourist spots. A lot of food options just walking distance. Rooms are very modern and breakfast is included. They also refill mini bar with water, soda, juices everyday for free. 5/5, will be using same hotel if I ever visit Istanbul in the future.

A really amazing 4 days stay at Arcadia Blue Hotel! The staff was so friendly and tell us many things about Istanbul and local way to explore the town. Everything was clean and cozy. Don’t forget to eat or drink a wine up to 9th floor at Fine Dine Istanbul (Great view of the town). Recommend it 1000% 🙋‍♂️🇬🇷🇹🇷🤝

Excellent hotel, free minibar and wonderfull staffing. Had an enjoyable experience here. One of the best views if your staying in Istanbul. The breakfast is incredible, and the atmosphere is insane.

The hotel has a very nice view of the blue mosque. And it’s very close too. The service is nice. They have roof top restaurant at 9th floor for complementary breakfast. The view there is even better.

May not be a 5 star hotel, but it was to us! Breakfast- especially location on rooftop- was fantastic, friendly & delicious. Rooms large, warm & comfy… home from home? Maybe not, but close

The only hotel I choose for future Istanbul stays! The location, cleanliness, professionalism, and best of all...the entire staff!! They are part of why my vacay was as memorable as it was!! They were so welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond their way for me at times. I cannot say enough about Arcadia!! Love It!!!

It has been a really pleasant stay in Acardia Blue hotel during my time in Istanbul. Omer, Eren, Cemil, and Atalay are the main front desk people who assist me during those days. People should serve in the restaurant are also super helpful and friendly. The view on 9th floor is spectacular. It’s must see. You can see both Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque in one place. This hotel is the highest one in this area . I would say even it’s a 4 star hotel the service and view are beyond 5 start. The location isn’t so convenient. It’s 1 minute walk to T1 tramway& Mado Ice-cream, 3 minute walk to blue mosque, 5 minute walk to Hagia Sophia.will definitely stay here again when unregistered Istanbul.

Amazing hotel with the best view of Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia (for seaview room). Affordable price, lovely breakfast and top-notch service. The staff will make sure they do the best of their abilities to cater to your needs, whether it's room facility, support with reservation and buying tickets of other tourists attractions! Totally going to stay here again if I come back to Istanbul

This review is so long overdue. It’s been 2 years since visiting and I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The staff is phenomenal. They made sure ever aspect of my stay was superb. The rooms are spacious and my views were incredible….their views are reason I wanted to stay in Sultanahmet. Every morning I woke excited to catch the most beautiful sunrise and in the afternoon, the sun cast the most beautiful rays on the Hagia Sophia. The food——delicious. And the restaurant staff—delightful. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here and I would not hesitate to stay again upon my return to Istanbul. Thank you for an amazing experience!

What an absolute pleasure to stay at this hotel. The 5 star rating is due to the AMAZING view and even more incredible staff. All the staff were so helpful, super friendly and invested in guests having a great stay. Special shout out to the front desk supervisor Jameel and the super helpful porters who made this stay a wonderful experience. Will definitely stay here again.

We got a room with direct view of the Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque. The room is neat and tidy as well as the service was very professional and respectful people. The hotel has a restaurant on the roof with a panoramic view of Istanbul as it happens to be one of the highest buildings in the area. The food was greatly prepared and presented and the service was also one of the best. Although we did not have the time to explore all hotel's services, I would definitely recommend it.

Great hotel and amazing staff. The view from our room was amazing. Breakfast was good as well. There was just a misunderstanding about room cleaning services. It is located in the heart of sultanhamet. Not easy to find taxi in the area on Fridays. But it is located close to several shopping areas.

Small hotel with very good renovation room. Bathroom could have been a little bigger however it is very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. Located right in the Blue mosque area with walking distance to Grand Bazar and Spice Bazar. Good in-house roof top restaurant with a breathtaking view.

What a great hotel. Mr Utkan at the front desk leads from the front. Attention to the guests is on another level. Very nice modern clean rooms, great room service. Don't miss out on the breakfast on the rooftop with the amazing view!

We stayed here for 5 nights and can’t tell you how this is one of the best hotels in the area. Our highlight was breakfast at their rooftop restaurant which is included with the stay. They have the most breathtaking view of the city. Their rooms are basic but spacious and clean. It is located walking distance from all touristy spots and train station that takes you to the Asian side. You can walk to grand bazaar and it has the best restaurants close by. I throughly enjoyed my stay. The staff is truly welcoming and always trying to help first timers plans their days in Istambul. Will be back! Thanks!

The location is perfect, the restaurant-breakfast is really good and the service is fantastic. Uktan gave us many indications and helped a lot to make our stay wonderful.

Very nice hotel. Excellent location was walking distance to main tourist sites. The breakfast (included with my room rate) was extremely generous. Far more than I could possibly eat. Croissants tasted like they were straight from Paris. And the view from the restaurant was incredible. Cleaning staff were prompt and meticulous. And the free minibar (when downloading hotel app) was an unexpected perk.

We really enjoyed our stay here. First of all, the location is perfect. It is right in the heart of the old city but far away enough to not hear the sound of the metro and people outside. The service from staff was first class and the view from our room was truly breathtaking! The beds were comfortable and the complimentary mini fridge was a nice touch. Breakfast was also extremely generous - if anything, it may err on the side of wasteful. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel due to its excellent location near to the main tourist sites and the great service from the hotel staff! The only reason we did not rate this 5 stars is because found the manager to be disengaged from the guests. We had an issue that required the manager’s attention however, we struggled to get hold of the manager despite several attempts and, in the end, we had to communicate through the reception staff who were very helpful. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would definitely recommend.

The location is fantastic and the hotel staff is superb. Every single person at the desk was extremely polite, helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was excellent and has an incredible view of the major sites. Can't recommend this hotel enough.

Nice view restaurant on the top floor. Prices for dishes must be less. Service was good and polite but only 1 waiter speak English, it's ridiculous. Food was good but I can't say that it was the best experience of food in Istanbul.

Hopefully this is not a repeat. The hotel is amazing a superb location and rooms are great. Views from the rooftop are incredible. Use public transport and save a fortune. Self directed tours including river ferries are a must. Staff here are lovely

This is about the restaurant on top. An awful place with a nice view. We went there and it was almost completely empty. We asked to sit at a table next to the window. To have dinner. They refused saying all tables are reserved. We said come on. There's no one in here. He said many people would soon show up. We asked what time? He said 7pm in about thirty minutes. So we go to the bar. Get a coffee and take some photos. While 6 lazy waiters stand around talking and doing nothing. We drink our cheap cappuccino coffee from an automated machine. And sure enough there was no people showing up at 7. It was all a lie. So we leave complain to hotel guy at the ground floor. But he does nothing either.

I had a miserable experience as I got severely sick from staying in this hotel because it was dirty, and filthy, had afoul smell from backed-up sewage pipes and there were stray animals in the lobby and outside rooms that were carrying disease and may have rabies. Even the other guests that were staying in this hotel got sick before checkout. The bathroom and toilet were clogged so I had to go outside as they took couple days to fix it and it clogged again because they had sewage back up in the main sewage pipes which caused backflow and foul smell. The bathroom also had mold and there was no exhaust fan in bathroom. The room was not clean and the floor was filled with dust and dirt and the heating system was not working and it was freezing cold inside room. On top of all these problems, even the TV in the room was not working. The gentleman working at the front desk was a con artist with full of lies and even though I had booked a bigger room with the view of blue mosque he swapped it to a smaller room with no view from the window. Please don't go by the edited photos of this hotel, it's old and in dilapidated condition and needs significant repairs and staying here is a health hazard and its not a safe place. The only good thing about this hotel was that it was within walking distance to blue mosque but based on the negative overall experience due to multiple issues I don't recommend this hotel and one should book other hotels in the vicinity that are well maintained, dont allow stray animals and are in much better condition.
