Our evening at Le Bistro Arabe with like a dream; a simply beautiful experience from start to finish! Ambiance was elegant without being stuffy, staff was friendly and efficient, the food was original and delecious, with good variety. Music was brilliant, featuring very talented local musicians. One of the best evenings we had in Marrakech. A must-try.

A superb restaurant, food excellent, and this coming from a Head Chef in London. Time, effort and thought has gone into creating these dishes, the Head Chef knows his stuff. From one Head Chef to another, my complements sir. The atmosphere is really perfect, and we both felt at ease, relaxed and attended to. The servers were charming. Well done.

This place is as pretty as those nice photos on their website, with a romantic atmosphere, perfect for dating. But they only have 2 set menus, one is 450DH, another is 350DH, cash only. If you want to pay with euro, the exchange rate is 1:10, so make sure you get enough DH. Food was average as all decent morrocan restaurants, which you can get the same food for half the price. Unfortunately this place is not suitable for foodies.

The vibe here is absolutely amazing. Most of the tables are pool side and at night the lighting is fantastic. The food is quite good, but I would say that the recommendation of 3 dishes per person is way too much food. We ordered 5 dishes between 2 people and we could not finish. The service was very attentive. However, we didn't like how our server was actively soliciting a review from us after our meal. Overall a very memorable experience, I would especially recommend the Berber mojito!

The best food, service, and atmosphere we’ve had in Marrakech. This place is the bistro downstairs from La Pergola, which is the rooftop. It featured live jazz music from 8 to 8:45, as they take two shifts of reservations (7-9, 9-11), so everyone enjoys the music. The food was amazing! We were quite hungry and had 3 meals per person, and all of them were super good. In particular the caramelized pumpkin, the chicken roulade and trid beef with truffles were outstanding. The only thing not recommended is the cheesecake: they do not use the same cheese consistency as in europe/USA, and the taste was super weird. Also very rose-y. The sangria was also nothing special, but was alright. Worth noting that the place is on the more expensive side. Especially for marrakech, but if you want outstanding food, service, and atmosphere, this is the place!

We decided to try Le bistro Arabe as has live music at night, the atmosphere was lively, the service was attentive. The food was a bit of a disappointment for the price point. The monkfish, 6 small bite sized pieces in a lukewarm sauce and the lamb, pulled and then put in a rectangle shape. For the price point it seemed to be all style over substance. One negative is it lets guests smoke which isn't good when you're trying to enjoy a meal.

If there's a place that deserves a Michelin Star in Marrakech, this would be it. The food is amazing, the service impeccable, and the drinks oh so refreshing. Thank you to everyone from Chef Myriam Ettahri for your amazing dishes, to Marwa and Abdoulrahman for your service and attention to detail, you made our evening and our anniversary unforgettable.

This restaurant is an oasis of tranquility and great hospitality inside the very heart of Medina. Once you enter you feel as if you have stepped into a warm, welcoming place. The waiters are extremely nice and kind, very well trained. True experience of fine service and cuisine. We had the 3 course menu. Couscous was divine! My Moroccan fiancé said that only his mom can make a better one. And.... the last but not least - dessert, not too sweet, not too greasy. Just perfect! Would come back anytime again!

Le Bistro Árabe/ La pergola, It was one of the places that impressed me the most in Marrakech, a sophisticated place with great live music and lovely people. I would like to make a dedication for the excellent performance of the Ayoub. He was one of the best attendants at La Pergola. I will definitely come back! Thank you so much guys

Very nice atmosphere, plenty of food, but a bit underwhelming and overpriced. We cam e to Le Monceau based on reviews of the place. As we came in we were quite impressed by the ambiance and the decor: as we stepped out of the dirty streets of Marrakech into the Riad that houses the restaurant we felt transported into a different place altogether. We were asked upon entering if we had cash, which felt a bit abrupt, and (maybe because of the way it was posed) almost rude. We were in fact quite surprised that such an establishment would not accept plastic, given that much less posh places in Marrakech do and we sort of assumed that they would as well. The dining room was very cozy and comfortable and we settle into our seats right night to a blazing fireplace. The choice of food seemed a bit limited: we were offered a choice between two set menus for 350 Dh and 450 Dh respectively, which felt a bit underwhelming; we were however given the option to choose chicken or lamb for the couscous instead of the vegetables one in the "Tradition" set menu, so we went for that. The amuse bouche were a nice way to start the evening. The Moroccan salads come in a set of five dishes, each with its unique flavors and styles. The main course was quite plentiful, but a bit disappointing in terms of flavor, for our taste at least. The dessert was a refreshing conclusion. One last thing to note is that, we were allowed to pay in euros instead of dirhams (since we were not expecting a cash only business, to be honest), but we were offered a rather unfavorable €72 for the total bill of 725 Dh, so I would recommend going in with enough local currency to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Beautiful and peaceful riad, yet highly overpriced for the quality of the food (55euro per person). Appetizer had ketchup as a sauce and the main dish was an above average tagine. Staff was very friendly and were doing there best, the price just needs a downgrade.

Absolutely stunning venue. The sharing plates were gorgeous, highly recommend the monkfish in particular. Our waiter Abdul was so helpful, friendly and super funny. This is a must visit when in Marrakech and would love to stay at the hotel & spa too.

We had Abdul as our server and it was amazing. The vibes are impeccable and they do live jazz in the evenings. You can sit poolside and enjoy the ambiance. I wish I would have visited this place sooner! A hidden gem of Marrakech for sure! The chicken samosas were my favorite and the prawns!

Genuinely some of the best food I’ve ever had. Best Tagine overall in my stay in Morocco and the chicken cutlets and the gnawa bowl were INCREDIBLE. I would have paid 3x the price of this for the flavours. Service was very attentive as well- Fati was great! The venue was beautiful and the live jazz music was perfect. Overall flawless visit.

Ilham was the perfect host. Food was delicious, we had the beef Tangier with mash and the couscous. Wine is also great. The jazz band by the pool and palm trees makes it the most wonderful experience, so romantic and very unique.

This place has a beautiful setting, like nothing I have ever experienced. The live jazz music is truly beautiful. The setting is extremely hot. I found it to be uncomfortable in the early evening, around 7/8pm, even when the sun had gone down. I could not fault the service, it was fast and attentive - we were never without an empty glass. The food, for me, was a little disappointing. For such a high end venue I expected the food to be almost faultless, which was unfortunately not the case when we visited. We ordered the monk fish when we arrived, which I found to be a tad overdone, and the complementary cheese and rosemary bread that they offer before your meal to be a little burnt. We ordered a chocolate mousse, which I found to be grainy with the cinnamon. The overall food experience was nice, but I wanted more - I felt like there was something missing. We did however visit on two occasions as the live jazz music was not playing when we visited our first time. The second time, I ordered a Tajine, which politely, was not good - the flavour was lacking for me, and the meat was not as tender as other tajines i had tried during my time in Morocco. I also found multiple splintered bones in my dish which was off putting and also something I had not experienced with any other tajines I had eaten during my time in Morocco. I unfortunately had to leave a lot of my food. The couscous I had with my tajine however was incredible, the flavours were perfect. We also ordered a tangia, which on the other hand was easily some of the best food I have ever eaten. Overall, I would recommend Le Bistro Árabe, and it is definitely worth a visit whilst you are in Marrakech.

Perfect dinner in Marrakech! Ayesha was delightful and the team could not do more for us to make sure we have a fantastic night. Marwa even took some lovely pictures of us so we can keep and remember them. Ilham was delightful and her recommendations were spot on. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the chicken samosas and pan fried prawns to start and the trid a la truffe and lamb tagine for mains. Ended with the exquisite raspberry and rose cheesecake. Cocktails were fantastic. The jazz band who played live during our dinner were exceptional. What a treat! And have I mentioned how beautiful the location is!? Grateful to have found this place. Thank you to the whole team and chef Myriam Etthari for a perfect first night in Marrakech.

There were 2 jazz restaurants in close proximity on g map. Can’t recall which one we tried to go on day 1. Was turned off by the youngsters in the alley who forcefully showed us to the restaurant. Thought it was a scam and we left. Glad we passed by their front door on day 2. The music, atmosphere and food were all great. The electric 3 stringers was cute though I wasn’t sure I hear it’s sound. It should be a Berber guitar with plug in

Spent the last dinner in Marrakesh here at Le Bistro Arabe. Appreciated the beautiful atmosphere, service, live music, and decor. For the price, felt slightly let down by the food. Dishes ordered: - chicken samosa/briouates - very delicious and flavourful mixture. Would recommend this dish. - sardine balls - would not recommend. The almonds and acidity combination in this dish gave everyone’s tongue an itch. - lemon chicken tagine - definitely not the best of this dish we’ve had in Morocco. We were told it was simmering for 6 hours though it didn’t seem like it was the case. The lemon was still fairly tough and the chicken meat was not that tender. - chicken date cutlets - probably one of the better dishes of the ones ordered. - chef’s recommendation of the Moroccan “pancakes”. Lovely orange blossom flavour and perfect textures. Pitfalls of this evening: - all the food came at once due to the limited 2-hour seated dining which meant some dishes got colder faster than others. It also made us feel like we were using through the meal. - the mocktail and detox juices menu are combined together on the menu making it difficult to know exactly which is a pressed juice and which is an actual mocktail. Ordered the Atlas Splash which was a bit disappointing. Overall, I would personally not revisit though it was a nice experience overall.

Absolutely amazing place! Would definitely recommend as one of the most luxurious restaurants in Morocco. We took beef, lamb, and fish as main dishes - just speechless, especially the pulled beef with diced Moroccan pancakes and a truffle sauce. A beautiful place to eat, drink and enjoy live jazz music. The service was fantastic, especially from Marwa who also arranged us a taxi home. We didn’t have a reservation yet she still managed to sit us in what seemed like the best seat in the house. Food was incredible, especially the chicken samosas - a MUST EAT. Not one to skip after a walk around Marrakech. Also a big thank you to Ayoub who walked us from the restaurant to a taxi point.

We found this hidden gem from google search and no doubt it’s one way to kickstart our journey in Morocco. We didn’t know what to expect about the local food but the chef really made a good twist of all the food. We had ordered the duck finger pastilla, pan fried prawns, ravioli foie gras and their legendary trid like a jabugo pulled beef, as well as a portion of traditional cooked lamb with semolina. We also had raspberry cheesecake with rosewater sauce as dessert (we initially ordered chocolate mousse but it didn’t suit our taste as it’s so heavy in spices but they gladly switched it to another one when they knew we were not satisfied with it). Everything was cooked to perfection, has different and rich flavors that we never expected, we believe this place has 5 star from the ambience, food, service to location. Kudos to the live music too! Abderrahim (the waiter with the mustache) is very friendly, helpful and funny. He loves it when we show that we love our food. Definitely coming back again next time!
