Good food, great hospitality and lovely cats. We shared a mixed kebab. Juicy and flavourful meat, they were well grilled with good texture. And you would got about five types of kebab on the plate, accompanied by grilled veggies and rice. We loved the freshly made pomegranate juice, and also had some Turkish coffee and refreshing apple tea, which were all great. Most importantly, there were several really adorable cats in the restaurant when we visited, and they had quite a lot of interactions with us! The staff had been very friendly, and we received complimentary baklavas which tasted nice. Highly recommended.

Absolute disaster.. DONT GO EATING THERE. We had ordered stuffed wineleaves , a lamb soup and 2 times the chicken kebap. For drinks we had a tea and a cola. The experience started with the waiter pushing us to order alcohol since that is the most expensive thing you can get at the restaurant, which we declined 3 times. Then two waiters tried to spoon feed me -which I experienced as quite invasive. A few minutes later another waiter did the exact same thing, it seemed to be some sort of shtick. The soup tasted like canned soup and had practically NO TASTE. Our chicken kebap was RAW on the inside and I basically didn't eat any of it. Wouldn't be surprised if I felt sick tomorrow actually.. Only the stuffed wineleaves were okay. We were charged a hefty 710 lira for this and I truely feel ripped off. DONT EAT THERE, trust me. Later we went and ate for 120 lira at an authentic Turkish restaurant, with actual decent & qualitative food.

Such a cozy place to chill, drink tea and enjoy the yummy food. Fabulous tabuli salad and tasty kebab is what you’d want to have on a rainy evening. Staff is great. They are very welcoming, friendly and always seem to be happy. I have observed them treating all customers with the equal level of care, attention and love. Thanks for the endless teas you have given me, guys! Zaza bey you are the best. Ah, and the music ♥️♥️♥️ I have returned to this restaurant a huge number of times. My favourite place in the city.

Dubb is an excellent choice. The menu here is very unique and we were blown away by how yummy the dishes were. There were even some sleeping kittens to hang out with! All of the servers were charming and kind and very helpful. Our only regret is that Dubb was our last meal in Istanbul and we won’t be able to go back this trip. Our experience at Dubb felt much like a fine dining experience and we highly recommend going. Yum!!

We have been to many of the top rated places on Google but this place outshines them all! All the staff are fantastic, friendly and funny. The atmosphere is great and the food is incredible the best place we have been in Istanbul! We recommend the Turkish dumplings Manti and the ice cream dessert absolutely delicious!!

The receptionist of kaftan hotel directed us to this restaurant. We made a good decision listening to him and going there. The atmosphere was great and modern looking, while still giving a traditional feeling to the customer. The prices were pretty average and reasonable for this central location. The food looked appetising and was delicious. Service was amazing, treating us with kindness and hospitality. I would strongly advice everyone reading this to stop by this restaurant as it is the best experience I’ve had during my stay in Istanbul.

Great place. I struggled to find a decent well balanced meal in Istanbul. Had some bad experiences. But this place revived my hope. Great staff. Great food. Generous people and very fair pricing.

Wonderful little gem, the staff are amazingly friendly, the food is delicious, food is extremely well presented, the atmosphere is sooo fun, price point is very economical for the quality. Can't fault this place, our hotel was 30sec from this Fantastic place and we were repeat customers. Definitely worth a visit whilst in Istanbul you won't be disappointed.

Vorspeisen, Gemüse, fast alles ist lecker und sehr gut vorbereitet. Mir hat nur der Steak nicht gefallen. Es sollte ein 400 gr T-Bone Steak Medium sein... es war ein breiter und ziemlich dünner Steak, teilweise 1cm dünn und er ließ sich teilweise kaum durchkauen. Rat an den Koch - lieber dicker und weniger großflächig abschneiden. Manchmal läuft eine Katze umher, springt auf die Stühle und bettelt nach Essen, was nicht immer angenehm ist. Das Personal ist sehr lieb, freundlich und hilfsbereit, nur das mit dem Steak soll man noch üben (das war gut gemeint). Preise hier halte ich für etwas überteuert, aber in dieser Gegend ist es nicht ungewöhnlich. Wir hatten für mix-vorspeise-platte, einen Salat, einen gegrilltem Gemüse-Teller und eben diesen Steak und 2 Bier 1.800 TLR bezahlt...

This is a very special place to us!!! Everyone is so charming here and we will miss our many, many evenings spent here drinking çay and chatting with this amazing group of people. They became like family to us. We were always greeted and welcomed in by Poyraz’s warm smile and kind nature. Fatih is so funny and goes above and beyond for his guests. And Diyar is the best waiter ever! He’s such a sweetheart and is always giving the best food presentations. The whole team was so good to us and did so much to make our visit in Istanbul enjoyable. This is true Turkish hospitality. The atmosphere is so beautiful and the food is great! We loved the Adana kebab and of course… their delicious desserts! We were treated to many baklavas and on our last night we got to enjoy their halwa with ice cream. Soooo good! We cannot thank them enough for all that they did for us and we are so excited for our next visit to Istanbul, our first stop will be Dubb Ethnic Restaurant inşallah. ❤️ Love, Hajar & Marva

We went to this restaurant for dinner, which we think this was the best restaurant in istanbul. The fruit salad is delicious and the dessert is very impressive. I like the staff in this restaurant, they are very professional and confident. Especially love their serving show. You can feel their passion for this profession, and the pursuit of perfection in food while valuing the interaction with guests. The owner is a very friendly and enthusiastic person, and he sometimes do cooking performances as well . Here you can not only enjoy the taste of food, but also enjoy wonderful performances. The food is reasonably priced and definitely worth a try. One of the things I admire about Turkish restaurants is that they don't just consider their work as a job, but also as a profession.

Amazing experience! The staff is very friendly and the food great! Perfect setting, you can just relax there enjoying pure Turkish and Ottoman dishes. Don’t forget to order Katma and enjoy Diyar’s unique show! Highly recommended if you find yourself in Fatih!

Very great restaurant and delicious vegetarian food. The servers are extremely hospitable and kind. The experience and atmosphere are phenomenal. Sleeping kittens at your feet. You can see your order prepared fresh right in front of you! Our waiter Muhammad was the friendliest person we met during our stay in instanbul and would recommend this place on his hospitality alone.

Was looking for some late dinner, the owner Palet assured me I would have a delicious meal here at Dunn Ethnic and he wasn’t wrong, came back the very next night to try something else. The lamb soup is delicious. They are also kind to and look after the stray cats if the area which is lovely to see. Can recommend 😊 ask nicely and you might get some complimentary tea.

One of the best restaurant of Istanbul ! It's a traditional Turkish cuisine that really appealed to me. The servers were very kind and welcoming. In addition, the setting was magnificent in a small flowery alley in the Sultanhamet district. Another big thank you to this beautiful team that deserves great attention !

Great atmosphere and very tasty food. The staff are very joyful and treat you very well. Do not miss the Testi Kebab, cooked in a ceramic jar, which is then broken into pieces right before your eyes :)

This restaurant was one of our highlight in Istanbul. I am a food lover and really enjoyed trying out traditional Turkish dishes. The food is very yummy, staff are very friendly and hospitable. Make sure to try the flaming chicken. The staff gives such a good show and are so passionate, also it was absolutely delicious. Also loved the turkish drink Ayran. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul 👌 👍

We was here with a 13 person group we say literally nothing and they pushed the tables together for us. Stuff members was funny and kind. I loved this place, you could travel kilometers for this you will not regret it

Very comfortable and quiet atmosphere, you could spend hours there. The food is very delicious and on the menu you can find dishes for every different taste. The staff is very friendly and also can speak very good English. The restaurant is ca. 10min away from the Blue Mosque in a small and quiet side street with a lot of cute hotels. I was there already 3 times. Today I had “Beef Tenderloin” which tasted great and I can absolutely recommend. Always a pleasure staying there.

An excellent restaurant. There are very diverse dishes. I had an incredibly delicious pasta dish and my husband had a grill plate. We chose our daughter something from the children's menu. I loved the atmosphere in the restaurant. The waiter are friendly and interact with you. What I also really liked that it is very family -friendly. Children are always welcome. The dear waiter had invited us to a tea and baklava. We thank you again and wish this restaurant a successful time. We will come again 🌞

A lovely and colorful place in the heart of Al Fatih area. The staffs are extremely kind and generous, they made sure that I am enjoying the service and place while offering me Turkish coffee and tea as well! Great ethnic restaurant in the Istambul’s center. Where ever you decide to have a meal, you will not make a mistake, but I liked the service here, and this is the reason for 5 stars and my recommendation. Complementary tea was a nice touch at the end of our lunch.

Restaurant was walking distance from our hotel. Super cute atmosphere and the owner and staff made it even better. Watched a fire fun show ( people ordered kebas ) and enjoyed the delicious food. Get their chocolate soufflé!! :)
