👍👍 Very impressed with the help I received at the One Planet shop in Little Bourke St, particularly Manu. She patiently explained and showed me all the features of the Goondie tent, nothing was too much trouble. The tent was ultimately a bit heavier and smaller than what I'm seeking, but I will defin...

Two Bays Walking Track

👍 Gorgeous hike and as one Aussie man I passed said “sure was an easy walk, but a LONG f*%#ing one”. Very enjoyable walk/hike. Around 13-15k steps back and forth from each entrance. Quite a narrow path though so go when it’s not busy or you can’t pass slow walkers 😅

👍👍 A truly beautiful walking and mountain bike riding trail along the old aqueduct. Tall fern trees, huge old growth Mountain Ash, hundreds of birds and cascading streams...and so quiet in that huge way that old growth forests can be. I walked and rode my mountain bike the route up the mountain via Yuo...

Warrandyte River Reserve
National reserve
👍👍 A beautiful trail which allows dogs both on and off leash depending on the section of the walk. The river can be fast flowing in places, so caution with dogs swimming, however there are a few sections which are more shallow and great for swimming with your dogs. Plenty of areas to stop on the trail...

👍👍 A beautiful and quiet trail with wonderful views as you make the 3.2km walk (each way) on gravel paths from one end to the other. The gradient is not too bad and does not tire you out. It was lovely passing other dog-walkers along the way. We were there on a Saturday in June and it was not very busy...

Mount Donna Buang observation tower
Tourist attraction
👍👍 Been up here many times, but Monday 30th & Tuesday 31st May 2022 was special, my pics are from these 2 days. Close to Melbourne, not a high mountain at all (only 1250 meters) but often surprises with snow dumps. The tower has great views in clear weather.

O’Shannassy Aqueduct Trail

👍👍 A great place for an easy walk in a forest. Not for adventure seeking ones, as it's a very well maintained flat and wide gravel path. The bridge is still closed, and it seems no work is being really done there. If you're walking, you can bypass it by stairs quite easily, but not with a bicycle. It w...
