😠 This is my first negative review on Google. Barman laid on tons of pressure to try their rhum and then charged us far over normal price for the drinks (which were not good). I would absolutely avoid. Poor quality and overpriced.

👍👍 Enthusiastically managed/staffed. Max let me practise my lapsed French without patronising me and we used English when my understanding faltered. More importantly, he recommended and and informed without trying to upsell. Plus, he was very knowledgable of UK & European beers. Good music too.

👍👍 Laid back restaurant that serves super tasty flammkuchen. Bit like a pizza but with a ultra light and crispy puff pasty base topped with crème fraiche and other yummy things. Worth a try and good value too.

👍👍 Very wide choice of good beers and good cheese and ham plates to share. Air conditioned inside so a good place to go if you want to spend a good time with with friends and cool down from the heat.

😐 The staff were friendly and the bar has a great atmosphere. However being a popular bar it was stuffed full of people. As I'm not a great fan of crowds I left after a drink.
