👍👍 The place is easy to reach with bus from Ilmenau, but I try to walk from my dorm. Takes 3 hours, but love the experience and the lake. It is beautiful and I love laying down above the grass whilst sun bathing.

Toilette ist auch vorhanden.
Zwar klein aber wenn man sich alle Informationen liest und die Audioinfos anhört dauert der Besuch über 2 Stunden.

Mitten im Wald hat man von dort eine herrliche Aussicht über den Thüringer Wald. Man kann entweder von Oberhof oder von der Lütschetalsperre starten. Festes Schuhwerk erforderlich.
Wer möchte, kann natürlich auch mit dem Rad zum Ausgebrannten Stein fahren.

👍 Natur entdecken - und unter der Erde forschen.
Der Aufstieg war ein wenig mühsam, vielleicht kam ich einen inoffiziellen Weg ohne Markierung. Bezaubernd war der steile Weg durch Wald allemal.
Auf dem Kamm angekommen beeindruckt der malerische Blick ins Tal. Und für Neugierige gibt es an der Schutzhü...
