👍👍 19 th century dam..pothundi dam is located at a distance of 42 km from palakkad..at the foot of nelliampathy hills..this dam is built across the kaivayi of the ayilur puzha..the sub tributary of bharathappuzha..the beautiful views of nelliampathy mountains can bee seen from pothundi dam site..

👍👍 Loved this place. Beauty of nature could be enjoyed by everyone here. The large reservoir of Parambikulam is the main attraction. The tall dam is another interesting and wonderful thing to witness here. The three mountains, that can be seen from the dam, are really beautiful.

👍👍 Calm and serene. The water is so pure and chilling, it is refreshing just to stand on the bridge and watch the water sway through the rocks. But beware of slugs though - keep a sanitizer or salt and try not to walk over the grass.
