👍👍 Marvelous raw energy salad and vegetarian lentil pie. Of course Guiness but also the only place in Kilkenny to get Murphy's stout.

Medieval inn on 2 floors with cosy stone and beamed bars, plus food and nightly live Irish music.

👍 A nice pub close to the river, they serve few typical pub foods, but the have pizza and a great Kilkenny.

😠 called in here at lunchtime. Around 6 people were having lunch. Sat at a table. No one came with menu. went up to counter. 2 staff chatting. . totally ignored me. When I said excuse me one turned around and said what do you want!! I asked for a menu which was literally thrown at me. Sat down....

👍👍 Really nice place for food. Good menu with daily specials and plenty of drinks options. The staff are very friendly and helpful. High chairs are available and they do baby bowls. Beautiful outdoor seating area, including sheltered tables.

👍 Nice pub in the centre of Kilkenny, a bit more expensive than other places. At this evening there were two great live acts which we enjoyed very much. We had the best Kilkenny and Guinness there. The Field bar is located in the centre of Kilkenny, quite opposite the castle.

Simple rooms in a buzzy pub serving casual fare, plus live music, pool tables and a beer garden.

👍👍 A nice bar, where booked in and arrived with no reserved tables, although still seated. Offered free finger food and shots (never got the shots) food was ok. We didn't hang on here for too long as a group.
