👍👍 Very nice memorial with excellent views. The audio guide didn’t seem to be working. Note that Google Maps shows that you can drive all the way up the hill, but the last 200 meters of the road are closed off to cars. Park in the large parking lot on the left and walk straight uphill.

👍👍 הגישה לאנדרטה כרוכה בנסיעה על דרך חקלאית. בחורף - הדרך בוצית, עם שלוליות. הגישה לאנדרטה אף היא בוצית ומעוטרת ב"מוקשים" שהשאירו הפרות הרועות באזור.
האנדרטה עצמה מרגשת. יש הסבר על יוסך שריג (הי"ד) וכן ניתן להאזין לביצועו השיר "אור וירושלים" שנכתב על ידו, בביצוע "הגבעתרון".

This part of Mt Olive is beautiful and is a cemetery. However, if you are looking for the Holocaust Remembrance Centre, look for Yad Vashem on Google Maps! We lost half a day because of this mistake!!!

👍 אתר הנצחה לזכרו של סמ"ר מתן גוטליב, לוחם יחידת מגלן. מתן נפל בקרב במבצע "צוק איתן" ביום ג' באב תשע"ד (30.7.2014). בן עשרים ואחת היה בנפלו.
האתר נמצא על גבעה בשולי נס-ציונה וצופה לנופים הפתוחים. על הגבעה עצי אורן ירושלים גבוהים שעל חלקם נבנו בתי עץ. שלט הנצחה קטן ולידו ספסל מספר את סיפורו של מתן.

👍👍 Beautiful gardens. Free entry and open to anyone. Lots of benches and areas to pray and ponder. If you walk from the top of the gardens to the exit gate at the bottom of the hill, the Church of All Nations (Gethsemane) is a three minute walk.
