👍👍 So worth the drive and time! The beach is beautiful and the parking is free and a breeze to find. My husband and I really enjoyed our visit. It would be a nice place to spend a day as there are lots walking trails and picnic tables to eat. Convenient stores are within a ten minutes drive. Very nice.

The first 15 minutes of climbing is strenuous, but after that you can comfortably walk along a well-maintained forest road until a rough rocky area suddenly appears. 👍👍 新田老駅から震災遺構のたろう観光ホテルを経て漁港へ向かい、津波到達点プレート(必見)を過ぎると遊歩道の入り口があります。
目前に広がる景色の迫力に圧倒されました。

👍 散歩がてら行ってみました。
初見は曇りの日で言うほどたいしたことないなと感じましたが晴れの日に再訪すると緑に澄んだ美しい浜辺と岩のコントラストに感動しました。
観光バスが運航されていますが気付かない人が多いようなので出発○分前は車外アナウンスを流すなど導線を引き直したほうが利用客が増えそうです。
