The air smells so nice and clean.
The quiet is just amazing, you don’t hear anything but the birds calling, it’s so so quiet.
The place is colder than Beirut (if you’re coming from Beirut during Summer in the morning or afternoon then it’s 10°c colder but still very nice).

👍👍 I really loved this place. Its like a 20 minutes walk. You pay 20,000 LBP to get access to the fort as well as three other nearby attractions. A guide will tell you all about the history of the fortress, which was quite interesting.

👍 An ancient fortress dates back to the 12th century AD, carved into the rocks of a high cliff.. Altitude ~ 1100m, many caves still showen, the fortress features rooms which were soldiers's shelters, also many water reservoir.
