👍👍 This is Kandy's main train station. The station is very popular with tourists so the staff is really helpful. Tickets to Nuwara Eliya or Ella are prized so I'd suggest trying to get your tickets at least the day before. The facilities are great even though the ticket counters can get busy.

👍 Now we have proper platforms. There is wheelchair accessible entrance now plus one platform. If you want to use the washroom, ask for the key from employee. Old platform is too low for new trains and women will find it difficult to alight.
