It is on a hill so far up above the town that the temperature changes. So i suggest dressing warm or taking some extra layers with you. I went in April and wore a down coat, scarf & warm hat.

👍👍 Very beautiful and very important archeological site that was once one of the first Asclepeions ever and one of the most important as well, which were the first form of modern-day hospitals.
I highly recommend visiting it if you’re in Izmir or its surroundings. (Pics are from July 2021)
