Best places: Historic sites in Karabağlar, Turkey

👍 One of the most important touristic sites of izmir. There's no need to buy a ticket as this monument is part of an urban space. The plaza is so lively even at midnight. Also, there are various restaurants, cafes and pubs. Also, the ancient bazar is close by.

👍👍 Very beautiful and very important archeological site that was once one of the first Asclepeions ever and one of the most important as well, which were the first form of modern-day hospitals. I highly recommend visiting it if you’re in Izmir or its surroundings. (Pics are from July 2021)

😐 Looks good from outside. Inside is almost nothing, just a public toilet.

👍 40tl per person to get in, some places are fenced some aren't. You can have a nice walk, but bring good shoes because its a bit rocky and uneven. Beautiful historic site, not always that good with the signs along the road but you will manage. Be prepared to spend atleast a couple of hours here btw.....
