👍 One of the most important touristic sites of izmir. There's no need to buy a ticket as this monument is part of an urban space. The plaza is so lively even at midnight. Also, there are various restaurants, cafes and pubs. Also, the ancient bazar is close by.

👍👍 As a visitor to Turkey I was in awe of all the locations and beauty. These ruins are placed atop an decent size hill so wear good shoes. The short hike up is well worth the view.
