ππ I visited there on September second. I have been there many times, but this time I had time to explore a little. The rest rooms are clean, they are pit toilets. I visited the garden and wished I could have spent more time there. The pictures are from both areas of the Buckland Station.

ππ Magical. My husband, who is from Kansas, and I have driven past this dozens, if not hundreds, of times over the years without knowing it was there. 12 miles off the interstate, and you are in another world. Fields, rivers, wildflower meadows. This is an underrated gem.

π Dayton State Park is a lovely little park with a historic background surrounding silver mining in the area. There are only 10 campsites and until Covid-19 hit, you could almost always find a spot. Thatβs no guarantee now but I suspect visitation will subside over winter with no hookups at the park....
