After the clinic charged me a $200 a no show fee while I was 40 mn late to my appointment due to a family emergency. Stephanie contacted me suggesting putting the money back as a credit in my account to use at a later time. I was very impressed by her professionalism and her understanding after I explained the unpleasant situation I went through that day. The receptionist was absolutely horrible on the phone. I called to inquire about some prices and procedures and the receptionist was so rude and dismissive. Her tone was very condescending. It made me so uncomfortable I ended the call without any information and definitely will not be going here for the anything I wanted nor any future procedures. Absolutely shocked (in the worst possible way) about the service I got over the phone. That's supposed to be the first impression a client gets and this left a bad impression. Skin clinics are a dime a dozen and you can find many other suitable options that are actually pleasant, in person and over the phone.

I love Nurse Sarah this 5 star goes to her! She did my lip and cheek filler (she does my Botox regularly) and she did a fantastic job, definitely the queen of creating luscious lips! She takes great care of her patients and she will make you feel at ease with the whole process. This was my first time getting filler and I am hooked simply because of her artistry I feel more confident with how I look! Would highly recommend her!

I started going to the Ottawa Skin Clinic this past year. Dr. Michon was wonderful and knowledgeable. Initially came for a filler dissolve, after having filler done elsewhere and was experiencing migration, Dr. Michon corrected the problem and my lips have never looked better! Since, I have had two hydra facials with Marina and Suzanne & both technicians were great! Won’t go anywhere else for my facial treatments now. I attended this clinic for my very first time and what a fabulous experience it was overall! Upon arrival to the clinic for my consultation with Dr. Michon, I received such a warm welcome from the ladies at the front desk. During my consultation, Dr. Michon took the time to listen to me to ensure he understood the results I was looking for. He was extremely knowledgable and provided me with a few different options, the benefits, along with any risks that may arise after treatment. During my second appointment (treatment), quite a bit of time of time was allotted for appointment and this helped to ensure that Dr. Michon could take his time, thoroughly explain the procedure to me, properly cleanse the areas, etc. and after my treatment, I could not be more happier with the results! Caution! They did a poor job with filler and it took years to settle the results. Other experts warned the filler was applied too deep into the tissue resulting in lumps which returned for several years. Think very carefully about the risk of filler in the face, in particular jaw line. The clinic also threatened me with legal action should i leave a negative review but these are real risks people should be aware of.

I did cool sculpting here paid a few thousand dollars for the service. After the sessions were completed they took before and after pictures and wanted to show them to me I never saw the before and after pictures on the screen at the same time she took the after pictures went to a room for about half an hour came back and showed them to me after. However I had taken before and after pictures myself at home and the pictures they gave me do not resemble the pictures I took at home 110% they don’t resemble each other please do your research before you trust any clinic not just this one but anyone. It’s very expensive to just jump in and do some thing because they’re really good at convincing you but really what they tell you the outcome is is not really what you’re going to get.

I reached out to this clinic when I was travelling to Ottawa for business. I called from the airport in calgary while I was waiting for my connection. I had concerns that I had a possible occlusion and the injecting clinic kept dismissing my concerns, I was worried and I wanted a second opinion. They booked me in for the next morning at 830 am before the clinic opened. That alone was shocking that they would come in early to see me, and I wasn't even their patient. Dr.Michon and his staff were incredible. He did an ultrasound right away and could see there was in fact an occlusion. He then treated the area 3 times with hyaluronidase, having me wait 30 minutes after each treatment and then repeated the ultrasound after each time until he was happy with the blood flow. He even consulted the hospital about the possibility of hyperbaric chamber treatment. I was there for 3.5 hours. To say that I'm grateful that they agreed to see me is an understatement, but there are to words to express how it felt to be seen and heard and that they recognized and managed the complication immediately. I honestly don't know what would have happened if I hadn't seen them. I would 10000% recomend Dr. Michon and his clinic and if I ever decided to have a cosmetic procedure done I would travel to Ottawa to see him.

Dr Michon is great! Highly recommend. He has strong attention to detail and definitely put my safety first. I have some asymmetry in my eyelids and he was able to correct it with filler. Might be the first time they’ve ever looked symmetrical!

Dr. Michon is very knowledgeable and explains procedures well. He does great work. My procedure was done with very little pain and no bruising, a sure sign that Dr. Michon knows what he's doing. He also has a great sense of humor. Nice clinic, the staff is friendly as well.

Recently had filler injections at Dr Michon’s beautiful space. As a physician-injector myself for 15 years I have only trusted Alain to do my filler for the last several years. Extremely happy with my recent treatment involving 13 syringes with fabulous results, no bruising and minimal swelling (and I already miss the swelling) so I didn’t miss any holiday parties lol. He continues to transfer his awesome people skills and extremely competent knowledge base to this day. Along with his staff, they answer any questions one may have and they don’t push any products or procedures on customers. Dr. Michon is simply a miracle worker. I have seen him many times for Botox and recently went in for a facial rejuvenation. The treatment was pain free and I had no bruising or swelling post treatment. My before and after photos are quite remarkable. *** Must-read review *** Nearly one year ago I attended a different clinic in Ottawa for a lip procedure. The nurse proceeded to inject the wrong substance into my lips by accident, causing extreme swelling and complete numbness that lasted for months. I was told this error had never occurred before and there was no information on what the long-term implications would be, as the substance that was injected was not meant for the lip area. Needless to say this was by far the scariest experience of my life. I didn't know if my face would ever look normal again or if I would ever re-gain full feeling. In desperation while at the emergency hospital that Sunday evening, I reached out to Dr. Michon via Instagram to ask if he could help me. Dr. Michon, who was in a completely different time zone on the other side of the world attending a conference on complications (ironically enough), responded quickly, offered his initial opinion after asking me to send him photos, and offered to see me on his lunch break the first day he was back, that following Tuesday. Not only did he continue to follow up with me for the next several months, but he also took the time to go above and beyond in many ways - consulting with other doctors around the world, reaching out to the Ontario Nurse's Association, contacting the pharmacy that prepares the vials, and researching into possible solutions to help speed my recovery. He checked in often to see how things were progressing and was always quick to respond to any questions I had. This is a man who cares so deeply about patient safety, and his passion for the medical cosmetic field shows not only in his day-to-day work but also in his constant involvement in research, learning and teaching others. It's pretty obvious that he is an expert in this field and Ottawa is extremely lucky to have him. Please, if you are considering lip fillers, do your research on your injectors. Yes, some places may cost less. But if you are someone who is considering cosmetic injections, it means you clearly care about how you look. Take it from me, your face is NOT something you want to take a risk with. I was lucky that my outcome was not worse, but from now on, I know that I am in the best hands with Dr. Michon and his team.

I am always happy with my results at this clinic. Dr. Michon is professional and experienced and I would definitely recommend him. He is great at what he does, explains the procedures clearly and his staff alway call to check in after the procedure. I always feel like I am in good hands. Asides from being personable and funny, Dr. Michon just gets it. Having had a negative experience from another company, I was nervous about getting another procedure done. But after reviewing Dr. Michon’s work on Instagram, I felt at ease. His work represented the things I was looking for. After meeting with Dr. Michon and explaining my ideal look, we discussed the concept of facial balancing. He took the time to understand my concerns, to listen and walk me through a face chart and explain in detail the areas he would like to target. I didn’t feel like just another number. I explained to Dr. Michon that my biggest fear was losing my identity and looking like another mold off the production line. Ottawa skin clinic goes above and beyond! I had my first hydra facial here. She did an amazing job and my skin never looked better. I asked my esthetician if she could manually remove my blackheads for me and she was able to remove 95% of my blackheads (painful but worth it). I went to a couple other places and tried their hydra facial treatments but it just wasn’t the same. Other clinics only did the bare minimum when they were giving me a hydra facial. I will never go to any other clinic for a hydra facial now. I will keep going back to Ottawa skin clinic. I also appreciate how professional they are when dealing with the clients. I have been to other clinics where the employees are unprofessional, talk about the clients and gossip behind their backs. I have never had this problem at Ottawa skin clinic. They have respect, they maintain professionalism, and the quality of services are impeccable.

Dr. Michon splits his time between saving lives as an ER doctor and saving people’s faces from wrinkles at the Skin Clinic. I for one can attest to the latter claim. Great services and excellent eye for detail.

Booked an appointment here as I had heard great things from a friend. During my initial consultation, Dr. Michon was low-pressure, funny and listened to my concerns. He gave me a spot-on estimate before completing the treatments and the results are unbelievable. An actual magician. I already have my next season booked!

The technician that was working with me was incredibly kind, clearly knew everything about each product, serum, and wash she was using, and was very enthusiastic about answering all of my questions. Went in for a consult today regarding hair loss solution(s). I've been to many other places and have done my research over the years and thought they could offer something different. The consult was $84 for a measly 15min talk, which consisted of questions that weren't answered that are basic to hair loss such as how their treatment deal with DHT. I asked how their treatment would work with my current treatment (minoxidil) and there was no confirmation whether I could stop using minoxidil should I go through with their treatments. The person i consulted had to verify with their doctor for the my questions and get back to me....why am I paying for a consult with someone that cannot provide the answers, the consult should've been with the doctor, specially if you're charging $75+tx for a few minutes. The information i received was no more then what is listed on the website or that I can read online. 100% wasted my time and money, part of me wanted to walk out without paying, it was very unsatisfying.

Dr. Michon has done three Botox injection appointments for me treating headaches. I was getting tension headaches for years multiple times a week and three weeks after my first appointment they we’re basically gone. On top of this, I have no lines across my forehead anymore which looks like a 20 year old again! I was completely happy with my services here and will continue to go back. Great clinic and staff. I've been going to Dr. Michon for years and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my face. He's knowledgeable and takes time to understand your needs and concerns. Bonus, he's fun and has a great sense of humour!

In 2019 the assistant was very welcoming telling me that if I paid a 2500$ package for 4 session I was going to be eligible for maintenance session at a heavily discounted price of 150-200$. No mention of date limits or anything of the sort was given to me...After paying such high fees, I did do my 4 sessions. So far so good. I contacted them, being very polite, and requested the manager to offer a similar offer than what was offered to me in 2019...Maybe 3-4 sessions at a similar prices (adjusted for inflation) than what was originally offered, just for good business relation and keeping a customer happy. When I tried to claims my maintenance sessions at a similar price, they more than double their prices...and finally told me that I had to redo my sessions, and pay another 2500$ for the privilege. The manager then told me that "I did not sign any contract" and therefore did not have a contract. While I agree I did not have a signed contract, but a verbal contract is valid in Canadian law. Instead of letting me pay for a couple of session at a discount (not asking for any freebies here), and keep a good customer happy they preferred to go to the defensive, and basically told me to go elsewhere. If you do business with such clinic, I recommend making sure you put in writing such terms and conditions of the service rendered, cause otherwise, the assistant manager did not want to held her part of a verbal contract.

Was recommended by a friend to get hydrafacial but the experience has been unfortunately terrible. Clinic doesn't offer rescheduling services, nor will not reinstate your cancelled appointment even if you call the same day as well as doesn't indicates the procedure details in their reminder messages(SMS). Also the reception will not correct you in case you are mixing up your appointment procedures. I had to wait for almost 6 weeks to get this appointment and it ended up as a sad experience. I wanted to reschedule my PRP treatment ( at another clinic) but by mistake, ended up canceling my HydraFacial treatment. The reception did not correct me when I said the wrong procedure ( I had completely forgot as it was booked almost 6 weeks ago). After sometime when I realized my mistake, I called them again but the appointment was not reinstated.

I had a great experience at the clinic and in particular nurse Sarah was amazing. She was warm and welcoming, making me feel very comfortable. The results are exactly what I was looking for, a subtle change that makes a big difference. I will 100% go back and have also recommended others.
