Beautiful Ottoman wooden palazzo usually is closed for visitors. But probably once per year you can visit wide collection of contemporaty art, presented here.

Very beautiful mansion that you can visit just while there is some exhibition. Free admission. This year it opened in November and will work till March,17 2024. Exhibition is about women costumes since late Ottoman empire till the fist years of Turkish republic. You can see rare dresses belonging to the high society of 1920th and also bags and shoes. Of you like fashion and history I definitely recommend you to visit👍🏻

The building in itself is absolutely beautiful, especially the interior, but the works of contemporary art on display are also a must see! Free entry, you may need to line up for a few minutes to enter so I would suggest going on a weekday. 🌼🌸💐

Impressive display of art, if somewhat grotesque. Pleased with how well the crowd flowed and the good job the dozens of security staff did. Particularly liked the colourful Islamic designs and tiles inside the building. A pity the outside and gardens are rundown.

It almost became my favorite place in Istanbul. The atmosphere is breathtaking. The enter is free, so you should wait in a loooong queue, but no regrets, exhibition is very interesting.

The cultural center of Ottoman period got renovated and had opened its doors with a big exhibition of more than 60 artists' works. It's absolutely free and queue is worth to be stayed in as the satisfaction after visit will overfill you!

We came in Saturday but it was closed. If you come here too you can walk to the park Nakkaştepe Millet Bahçesi so your trip here is not in vain.

It was a great experience.. for FREE .. too crowded in Saturday.. Absolutely, exhibitions often change periodically, showcasing various themes, artists, or collections. From November to March, exhibitions spotlighting historical women's costumes offer valuable insights into the evolution of fashion.

It was nice exhibition. It has works of around sixty artists. Building has really good structure.

A bit of a false expectation was created by social media and Turkish press promoting it as a must see place for kids because of all the animal statues and the name of the exhibition itself being "the child within". As any other exhibition, visitors are not allowed to touch or get closer the pieces which is understandable but also disappointing if you're a kid. As for my kid who is 2,5 years old he wanted to leave after 5 min. of being always kindly warned by the staff. Nice site to see though with or without the exhibition.

Nice, but preparar to wait in line to enter for very, very long.
