😐 Came here with my family and we all thought the food there was very average tasting compared to many other korean places that we've tried. The presentaion was fine but it was the taste that is more important. The non spicy cold noodle was a hit or miss as it was liked by a few people around my table... People often mention Korean, good, side, dishes, pork,

Came here with my family and we all thought the food there was very average tasting compared to many other korean places that we've tried. The presentaion was fine but it was the taste that is more important. The non spicy cold noodle was a hit or miss as it was liked by a few people around my table but it was nice. side dishes tasted fine and it came with refills. the squid had a bit of a mushy texture and made it taste kind of bad the BBQ meat was $60 for 2 portions which did not fill us up it tasted like anyother galbi which was good. The pork shoulder was presented very well but the taste was just OK. The tables were greasy though and there were cables hanging on the wall and there was evidence of residue smeared across some of the walls. Maybe it was a one off experience but I dont know

Food was good (not amazing) when we ordered a BBQ squid/pork and a soup. Good option to swap out plain rice should you wish. We were very impressed by the side dish selection and taste (favorite this time was a salty dried fish). Another positive is the larger number of seating so generally easier to get a spot here without booking, than some of the other Korean restaurants in the area. Would return.

Modern, clean and pleasant atmosphere. The place is spacious and seatings are roomy. Prices are reasonable considering the amount of condiments that are served with the mains. Tastes are to our liking though one of the signature dish lacks a bit of flavour. Overall a satisfactory meal at a reasonable price.

The hot Grilled squid & pork belly and beef rib soup are excellent. Not only that, the small bowls of many side dishes are very delicious. I believe that is one of Auckland's best Korean restaurants.

The Daamso I know is back. Apparently they've got a new name, The Bob, but I still call it Daamso. I see the owners are the same... Ordered my good old classic Grilled Pork and Vege and Beef Bone Soup. Both came with rice and side dishes. Totally enjoyed it.

I got the kimchi soup and my friends got the hot plates spicy pork and sweet beef (bulgogi). Pretty yummy decent Korean food with 6 banchans (the glass noodles and the mayo salad were my faves; free refills). The fried chicken and the seafood pancakes that I had been recommended by friend who had been, were not list on the menu. But it looks like other tables ordered them, so felt quite left out, guess we had to ask? Very busy, both dine in and takeaway, we managed to get a table without booking as it was early dinner time.

Delicious chicken and heaps of sides and you can ask for refill of the sides. Soup is tasty as well but you can’t ask for a refill 😂. Big place and heaps of table.

Delicious food no doubt of that especially kimchi stew and their grilled pork/squid. Only reason am giving 3 stars is tried calling them 11am for takeaway for almost everyday but no one is picking up the phone. I have done takeaways with them few times before and says on google accepting takeaway but if they are really busy they should at least update google that no more takeaway service or perhaps answer the phone and let me know if that’s the case. It’s such a shame not to be able to visit as we have a newborn.

Best Korean I have had in years. 💯. Tasted exactly like a spot I used to go to in upper queen street. Unfortunately they closed and everyone else hasnt really compared until now. Great service and food was so good. Will probably be back everyday now for lunch.

What can I say? The food here is amazing. We had stone pot bibimbap, beef rib soup, soft tofu stew and a seafood pancake. All were delicious and we totally recommend. The ingredients are of high quality and super fresh. We'll definitely be back!

Good quality and authentic Korean food. If you're after something a little different this is the place to go.

The food here is incredibly delicious. They also give us a good amount of side dishes and you can ask for refills if needed. However, service wise it is not too bad as the place tends to get super busy. Some of the staff there are pretty nice but it does take a while to get their attention when trying to order food etc.. The atmosphere is nice but there are times where the table is dirty and the drinks are too.

Another go-to place for Korean food. Especially, If you come in a big group, there are great dishes to share (ie. fish roe soup/pancake/etc. )

Went there on a Saturday lunch and it was quite busy. The inside was quite warm and the smokey smell was strong, there was an air con next to us but was not turned on. However, the food was good and the side dishes had different varieties. There are also options for the hotness level, so it is quite child friendly. Our son was also given a free bottle of yogurt drink which I guess was a bonus to the experience.

Had a great experience here for lunch, food came out piping hot and the spice level (which you can choose) was right where I wanted it (quite spicy for Korean food). The service was good and the manager was quite interested in what I thought of their food. Good selection of banchan and they offered to top me up which I always appreciate, but couldn’t this time because I was very full as the portions were generous for the price.

Great go to Korean meals done very well, crispy pancake and solid bbq plate options. Loved the side dish options there were a good selection and we dined fairly happily. Super busy for dinner and not enough wait staff to clear tables, felt bad for staff as the turnaround meant a fairly long wait time. Go in with patience if it’s at peak dinner hour :-)

The food is just average but we come here because there’s not many Korean restaurants to choose in this area.

😐 I know Denny's is not the best, but it's open late and you can dine in, the girl that served us was great. Maybe it's just nostalgia for me. Haven't been back to NZ in a few years, but the quality of food seems mediocre at best and the prices don't really match the quality of food. Chef Mic (Microwa...
