Where do I begin, to write a review befitting the glorious Amarvilas. This property and brand should be a 7 star instead. The staff are so courteous and attentive to our needs. They are so down to earth and approachable, and I mean this about every single one of them. There's a standard of quality through and through. The entire property and rooms are flawless. Great care has been taken for the decor and the maintenance of the property is top class. They even had a pillow menu which I haven't come across before, as I've never been a fan of the standard duck down pillows which are usually present in hotel rooms. The food is exquisite as well. We had the chefs coming out to greet us and ensure everything was in order and we were also humbled by the GM stopping by to check in on us. It shows that they go beyond the call of duty. Having experienced the Oberoi hospitality for the first time, I'm truly spoilt now. The bar has been raised very high for all my future experiences. We also had an incident, about which I mentioned to one of the staff, and they sincerely brought it up with us again while we checking out, which assured us that we were being heard and that no feedback is being taken lightly or swept under the rug. I have great admiration for all the people behind the scenes of the great Amarvilas. You all have given us a truly unforgettable holiday. Thank you so much!

This is the most warmest place to be not only because of its view of the mesmerizing Taj Mahal but also because of the people who manage the place. You will always be welcomed with a smile. Everyone is ever so willing help ro make your stay as comfortable as possible and more. The rooms are tastefully done and each of them boasts of the view of the Taj Mahal. The food also is delicious and thanks to the stay there now my favourite cocktail is the espresso martini.😊

Mesmerizing place! The service was exceptional, I'm so appreciative that there exists a place that still values customer service throughout the hotel. The staff were phenomenal. There is absolutely nothing that could be improved- you have set the bar very high.

We have not even been able to stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra due to a family emergency here in the uk that has taken place this week. I am writing this review as when trying to contact the hotel about moving our reservation or even cancelling they have asked for medical proof of the family emergency to do this. If I do not provide this proof they will not move or refund me anything. I’m sorry but a family member requires emergency surgery and this was supposed to be my honeymoon trip - I am not sharing any medical proof that anyone in my family requires surgery. This is supposed to be a good establishment but if you treat your expected guests like this then something needs to change. We have now moved our honeymoon trip to 2023 and will ensure that we do not stay here when we visit Agra.

I just recently stayed in the said hotel. As soon as I entered here, I was very warmly welcomed at the first reception and after that I was given juice. The hotel room was very beautiful. The staff here is also very nice. And the service here is very fast as well as cleanliness is taken care of a lot here. The food here is amazing. Overall I would give this hotel 5 stars.

This is by far one of the best hotels I've been to. The staff of the hotel is very attentive and always look to help and offer their services. Everyone is very friendly and nice. In the room you can opt to have butler services, they can come do the bed for you in the evening and provide many other services (give you a wake up call and bring your coffee to your room etc.) The room was very clean, fully equipped and of course with an amazing view towards Taj Mahal. I definitely recommend them to anyone who wishes to have a great experience while visiting TajMahal.

Since it was our 25th anniversary and on actual dates we could not travel hence made our program now to visit the best known hotel in entire north. Our stay was wonderful, service A+ class accompanied with delicious and yummy food. Special thanks to: Mr. Dhiraj, who was our host at dinner and made it very special. He personally arranged for the authentic "Panchi Petha", which my family loved it. Mr. Akash, F&B Manager. The dishes served by him were fabulous and made our day. A very down to earth person. Mr. Sourabh, main Chef, personally came over to discuss the dishes we wanted and made sure we got the best and we loved them all. Mr. Ripu Daman, a very sweet chap. Missed names but all the female staff they were all extremely courteous and nice and Ms. Apoorva, booking manager, personally came to see us off. The Durbans, drivers, room service staff etc are all very courteous. The list is long but have never experienced this kind of hospitality ever. Now we know why Oberoi is preferred by all and given such good rating, it deserves it. You need to experience it.

If you get the room that has a view of the Taj it is unbelievable. You can take a quite bath in the tub while looking out at the Taj. Again super expensive because of its ambience but generally quite a good property!

The experience starts from the moment you step inside the property. Smoothest check-in I've had in my life. The staff is so welcoming and at your service 24/7. All rooms are positioned with a great view of the Taj. The spa session was divine. Great dining experience across both the restaurants. To beat the day heat we chose early morning viewing of Taj, which is 5 mins from property. Highly recommend Oberoi Amar Vilas and a big shout out to the entire staff for the best hotel experience I've ever had.

Let me start by how impossible it was to get hold of someone. So we walked to the place to have lunch and they wouldn’t accommodate us without reservation. Finally the next day we got hold of someone and booked a table for lunch. I must say we have spent 1700 rupees at a different restaurant and it tastes better than the same food we had at the Oberoi (6000 rupees). The restaurant wasn’t full so I wasn’t sure why they couldn’t accommodate us the day before. I am an American and wasn’t impressed by the service. Also, when we reserved the table, Jagdish mentioned that this was a buffet lunch for 2200rs per person but that wasn’t an option and we were forced to have a menu a la carte which limited our options. I am very sensitive to food and spices and a buffet option was perfect for us. Very disappointing experience.

This is the best hotel in the world!!!! The food was incredible, the service is next level, the room was beautiful, and the gardens and waterfalls and pools make it feel like you’re living in a palace! Not to mention you can see the Taj Mahal from your room and it is just a quick walk from the hotel. Best vacation I’ve ever had!

Stayed last week at The Oberoi Amarvilas - Agra, I have to say amazing luxury hotel, super friendly staff, good food and amazing view on the Taj Mahal. I don't think you will find better in Agra. Walking distance to the Taj Mahal. The setting is just amazing. Definitely 5 stars. Rating 4 stars though, as in this time and age - for such a hotel brand and luxury environment not adopting a sustainable environmental approach is just not acceptable. I am very confident the needs of the present can be met without compromising the ability of future generations. Reduce the amount of plastic bottles used in this hotel, the amount is just INSANE! The brand should lead by example and making sure 21st century expectations are met wrt to environmental impact. Every bit count to save our planet, even in India!!
