Qaisariah Souq As-salaamu alaykum dear Sisters and Brothers, Have been there twice in the last 2 years I have been living in Al Hofuf, Al-Ahsa. It's a beautiful heritage market that has a lot of traditional Saudi things. Its a must visit if you are in Al hofuf for the first time or moved here to stay. There are a lot of craft items, shops for traditional clothes for adults as well as children. Lots of colourful hand crafted footwear you will never find in other parts of the city. The entrance of the complex is very interesting as the doors and windows take you to a bygone era. I love visiting this place and I highly recommend you visit it in a group in the evenings when the place is lite up and gives you a feel of being in a market.

If you find your self in Al Hasa, visiting this Souq in the evening hours is a experience you don't want to miss. Although modern in appearence, it is one of the oldest Souqs in Saudi with a multitude of shops and vendors.

Also note (foreigners) that before 4pm any day is basically closed (or closing soon).
