Been a few times since new owners took over now and thought it wasn't possible but prefer it even more. Staff are great and food is delicious, meal deals and offers make it great value as well. Definitely favourite chippy when at home.

Been going here since I was a kid. Nick still runs it and he is amazing. Such a friendly bloke who always welcomes you. Harry (another staff member) is awesome! Such a funny lad and always has banter with the customers. The food quality is OUTSTANDING. I always said that the market chippy was the best in Altrincham but have to say that this place knocks spots off it. I've yet to taste a fish and chip shop that has the best tasting food. You will seriously not be disappointed! A friend of ours visited from New Zealand a few weeks back. We brought her to this chippy and she could not believe the quality and flavours.... need I say more! ENJOY and cheers Nick !

New owners, and the standarts went down badly, large fish was small and soggy, batter not crispy or tasty, chips tasting hard and not fried properly, they tasting more like boiled, not going again.

When did it change hands,not been for a while I heard the previous owner was ill.

Ordered the cod and chips. Fish tasted fresh and moist, and the chips were on the soft side just as I like them. A friend ordered the mushy peas and they looked good, might try them next time. Prices were reasonable for the portion size.

Friday night on the way home, the smell was too good to resist. Friendly, smiley young ladies serving. There was a bit of a queue and wait but they were frying fresh fish. Fish was a little too oily, the batter too soft BC and broke up. Chips, mushy peas & gravy were fab. Love their chips especially.

Covid compliant. Best order by phone, pop your head in and let them know your there. Food brought out and you already know how much to pay. Kebabs pretty good too.

Linda is lovely and very helpful. Nice traditional English fish and chips. Very good curry sauce. The menu has had a revamp recently with some Chinese snack items added and I'm looking forward to trying

New owners. Traditional chippy menu is nowhere near the quality it used to be. Visited twice hoping the first visit was a one off, it wasn't.

Last time I used the chippy nick owned it.and I have to say it was one of the best in alty decided to try it since it's been took over.and I have to say not a patch on when nick run this place.chips were rubbish.peas tasteless.fish tasted ok.but hubby was up all night with stomach cramps.it had to be the fish and chips as he'd eaten nothing else in the day.also ordered a cheese burger for our son.he has 2 bites and left it.

Nice people , food was really below par, watery curry, chips not cooked enough and pie tasted like it had been there since last night
