"Wonderful typical Dutch Experience” That was my cheat-Lunch of the week! (Went there in Dec 2021) Owner so friendly and advising on what food/sauce to choose from, without pushing any sales. From the heart. The fries were super crispy and cooked as i like them. It was pretty cold outside at that time, so a good hot meal to be eaten on the street warmed up well my stomach!

The best Belgium fries in Amersfoort, everything is freshly prepared, the fries are among the best you will ever eat. The croquettes are homemade and super yummy!

Yes, I know, it's a cafeteria. But it's not a normal one. It's the one with the best Friet you can imagine. Not frozen, as in many other but fresh cutter potatoes. Well fried. The people working are busy but do have time for each client. I do recommend theire Friet and the beef crocette. They make them self as well and taste very good.

The chips are great and the homemade kroket even better, (However it happens that you receive a couple overcooked chips), Service highly depends up on the person behind the counter but overall not great.

If you are tired of Aviko frozen friet then you had better visit Van Gogh friethuis The friet are fresh and fried to crispy perfection, I love the chicken wings, they also offered me complimentary homemade chips while I waited for my order. I spoke to the server for a few minutes asking about the history of the business and he pointed me towards the below picture, a modernised photo of the potato eaters by Vincent van Gogh 😃🤣 if you’re on a strict diet you might just want to get a whiff of the delightful smell of friet and take a look at the potato eaters (both those on the picture and the dear customers), jokes, if you’re on diet by the time you leave your cheat day will be cheat daying in full force All this typing is making me hungry, I might just pop in again

Ordered the small fries, it came to be not that small 😋, but really good with the truffle mayo dipping sauce, also tried the beef croquet, very soft and creamy inside and crisp outside. A must to try!
